It's just hard to get the work and repairs done in a timely fashion. Especially the greenery. They removed my plants and put them in storage 8 months ago and never brought them back. I contact them all the time and don't get a reply for weeks. I was going to have some landscaping done by them, but haven't heard back. My drainage had not been replaced and my existing plants may die

Just loved our salesperson [name removed] who kept us informed and in the loop during the entire contract process and through picking out our A's and B's. Then as the build process began we had some issues with communication with our initial building supervisor [name removed]. [name removed] so patient and understanding when listening to my concerns and didn't hesitate to put us in touch with the right chain of command. Our new building supervisor, [name removed] could not have been better. He was professional and kept us in the loop on everything. I felt very sorry for him having to deal with vendor and material constraints during the process. It was totally out of his control. But he continued to stay on top of everything and delivered us a beautiful house. Even if it was a much longer build process than we were originally told due to the effects Covid had on labor and materials. This was not foreseen nor in anyones control. Toward the end of the process things got a little dicey because our locked in interest rate was set to expire and our closing got moved due to a delay in getting a shower door but in the end it worked out fine. We only missed it by one day. Thanks to Dow Drury stepping in and helping! He was such a professional and nice gentleman. I cannot say enough nice things about him and [name removed]. Overall we were very satisfied and we love our new home and this community!

The warranty customer service rep [name removed] has been excellent in responding, however getting repairs done in a timely fashion is another thing. Several items have taken a very long time to address. I don't feel this is his fault. I feel more like [name removed] is to busy and can't find enough quality workers.

The lack of expected completion dates and meaningful; updates from the builder caused huge problems for me. Finding alternate housing was difficult and expensive. YOU DID NOT PROVIDE UPDATES ON EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE!!! THAT XXXXX ED!!!! YOU NEED TO FIX THAT...I can help here if you need a consultant. But it made the entire experience BAD! POOR JOB!

We truly disliked the process of the option A & B selections. These were done way too soon in the build process and we were pushed through it. We really felt pressured and not listened to by the interior designer ([name removed]). We strongly like our building supervisor ([name removed]) who built us a quality home and kept us informed.

Been trying to get a landscape water problem resolved for almost a year, but lots of promises ,but no resolution. . Because of water problem we have a [name removed] in the house on the side where the water issue is. Might even have a mold issue from it.

We were originally told our closing would be between June and September, then between August and October. As October neared we still hadn’t been given a closing date. Finally by mid October we were finally told about a garage door shortage. We were staying in an Airbnb, and because we weren’t given enough time, we had to move out of the Airbnb because the owner had tenants coming in in November. We were given our closing date of December 2, by the end of October. Luckily we found a hotel that was pet friendly. The kicker was we found out about the garage door shortage, not from [name removed], but from an appliance salesman not affiliated with [name removed].

Our building manager promised our punchlist would be completed by our move in date. It has not, he is no longer with [name removed] and now after 7 months these items still remain unworked. We're disappointed by the lack of communication and just want the home we purchased completed in a timely manager.

The only thing that was tough was where to dispose of move in trash. [name removed] should have a move in dumpster, maybe at a secured location, possibly a cardboard recycle dumpster.

[name removed] Margaritaville is a great place to live. Our trouble with [name removed] is the quality of the build. The crews try to make it look as good as they can but underneath you'll find sloppy work. Square / straight walls and good finishings are lacking. I feel our cottage was built by rookie / not yet tradesmen and it shows. We have a few issues that are being addressed by [name removed] after a year that should never have been an issue (could have been done correctly when constructed). Over all we love where we live and love our cottage but this constuction just doesn't compare to the quality of our home back in Michigan. Still, we're happy here.

Every wall and surface is damaged or sloppily constructed. I feel our construction superintendent lied to us during the process and now that we’ve closed we can’t get anything fixed or replaced.

To many things not fixed in the house after the October walk thru. Nothing was done in over a month. Very disappointed. When I mentioned what it looked like installer did builders response was more of an attack on me for saying what I thought had been done. With the exception of [name removed] this whole experience has been disappointing. I'm at the point of having the front Lanai repoured Instead of the fix I agreed on.

Total lack of communication from our build supervisor [name removed]. What few texts or emails received from him during our build were cryptic at best. The quality of the workmanship from framing to finish coats of drywall mud are unforgivable. Including doors installed on angles, initial lanai slider framing incorrect size (took 4 months to fix after we informed [name removed] of the mistake every week in writing) to lack of grout on all tile in our home, etc. I did like the fact that when contacted [name removed] moved our concerns up to his supervisor. However, discussions and confrontations with [name removed] regarding the lack of workmanship or care of our home became heated. We are very disappointed with the quality of our home as well as the lack of concern your staff has shown us for rectification of our issues. We have had two appointments set up with [name removed] to introduce our Mastercare specialist that have not taken place. The first appoint on Dec 10 we waited for [name removed] to arrive at 1pm, by 1:15 I had to call the office only to find he was out sick for the day and no one informed us. The second scheduled date was canceled the morning of. I have also been unsuccessful in getting access to the HOA portion of the LMHH website. I will not be recommending to any of my family or friends to purchase a [name removed] home.

Our sales agent, [name removed], was extremely professional and personable throughout the process. He helped us find the perfect homesite, stay within our budget on selections and checked in with us through the whole process. We couldn't have been assigned a better builder. [name removed] oversaw the construction of our home as if he was building his own. We had very few items on our punch list as we moved in. He updated us weekly with photos and information as to where we were in the process and what would be happening next. These two gentlemen made the construction of our new home a very positive experience.

Like the number and variety of social events each month. Like the amenities. Very unhappy with the daily music played very loud at the bandshell. We can hear the music each day on our lanai. Have complained multiple times about this but it is still happening.

All of my initial punchlist items have been taken care of, but there are now a couple of additional items that I showed [name removed] during my 6 month walkthrough last week. The painting contractor has already contacted me to set up the appointment to get that taken care of. I'm sure the other items will get resolved as well.

Both [name removed] and [name removed] have been responsive whenever I had an issue that needed follow up on. All of my initial punchlist items have been taken care of, but there are now a couple of additional items that I showed [name removed] during my 6 month walkthrough last week. The painting contractor has already contacted me to set up the appointment to get that taken care of. I'm sure the other items will get resolved as well.

It's just hard to get the work and repairs done in a timely fashion. Especially the greenery. They removed my plants and put them in storage 8 months ago and never brought them back. I contact them all the time and don't get a reply for weeks. I was going to have some landscaping done by them, but haven't heard back. My drainage had not been replaced and my existing plants may die

[name removed] Margaritaville is a great place to live. Our trouble with [name removed] is the quality of the build. The crews try to make it look as good as they can but underneath you'll find sloppy work. Square / straight walls and good finishings are lacking. I feel our cottage was built by rookie / not yet tradesmen and it shows. We have a few issues that are being addressed by [name removed] after a year that should never have been an issue (could have been done correctly when constructed). Over all we love where we live and love our cottage but this constuction just doesn't compare to the quality of our home back in Michigan. Still, we're happy here.

Like the number and variety of social events each month. Like the amenities. Very unhappy with the daily music played very loud at the bandshell. We can hear the music each day on our lanai. Have complained multiple times about this but it is still happening.
