The only problem had been the dishwasher leaking because it wasn’t hooked up right. This caused us to have to leave the house while dehumidifiers and heaters ran non stop for 5 days to dry out the house. The laminate floors were damaged as well as quarter round molding, baseboards also. I liked the warranty because the house was put back to normal as soon as possible. Except for flooring that was back ordered. As soon as it came in the flooring was put right in. Walls were patched and painting was done. There have been a few other minor things that needed fixing and it was done right away.

We love the project and the lifestyle it offers. The only thing we found unpleasant about buying into the project was that we had so little time, only one four-hour appointment, to make all our design selections and that the selections could not be altered after that point. We feel the home buying process lacked any flexibility and forces the home buyer into making forced, rushed decisions when making design selections. This process could be greatly improved to enhance buyer satisfaction.

The process was very smooth. [name removed] or builder was awesome. He kept us updated on a timely fashion and always made us feel important. After close, issues are few and addressed within a reasonable time frame. My only complaint is the lack of flexibility & limitations on options for the cottages. The base package selections are of the 90's! That's unreasonable.

Everything was wonderful to include our builder, [name removed] and all of the [name removed] people involved. The only issue we had (maybe more of a recommendation) was that the electrical was not detailed enough (at all honestly). We had no idea where the outlets on each wall would be (or how many on each wall), was told "to code". This was frustrating as a homeowner, because we would have chosen more outlets had we seen a diagram of where the outlets would be located. For example, some Aloha cottages we went in had 4 outlets on the kitchen wall (microwave/stove wall) and some only had 3. We understand it is based on where the electrician "starts", but still confusing. Would be nice to be consistent throughout and have a diagram to look at like every other option has. There are NO complaints on the builder ([name removed] - he was wonderful), or the build (any issue we have is being taken care of) or any other aspects of this community. We love everything. This was just quite confusing and we would have chosen more outlets had we known. Once you figure it out, it's too late. Our [name removed] rep, [name removed], was wonderful and very quick to help with anything we needed. Response time from everyone was phenomenal!!

Landscaping is unacceptable. Maintenance is unacceptable. For 11 months we have had a tiny bug infestation. Mulch is too thick and it stays too wet. Weeds in the grass. Wetness on the sides of the homes.

1. Updates were inconsistent. We had to ask for updates several times. 2. Upon move in multiple issues have been found with the workmanship of the construction and finish. 3. I would have expected a much more carefully built home for the money we paid.

Settlement day went very well. But there was a lot of information to think thru, then HOA stopped by that afternoon and also provided very helpful information. But it was information overload - too much piled into one day. Would have been nice to meet with HOA a few days later - I know we missed a lot since there was so much. But the information provided was very helpful.

In the days and weeks following both our closing and our 6 month anniversary, MasterCare's walk throughs revealed minor concerns we had not even noticed. [name removed] goes above and beyond. We must add that everything requiring follow up was very minor.

This is the 3rd home we built and this experience, by far has been the best experience yet. The communication from my sales rep [name removed] was informative & timely. She patiently answered my 1000 questions & guided us throw the lottery/process. Our Designer [name removed] was super. She left me take the design-reins under her guidance & would offer assistance only when asked. Building from a long distance was tough, but after speaking with our builder [name removed] a few times, we began to feel more comfortable with his knowledge of home building. We appreciated [name removed]'s weekly communication, so important from the perspective of a long distance purchaser. We realized we had to put our trust in [name removed] & we feel lucky that we had his watchful eye on our home. The day of our New Home Celebration, we were elated with all the work that was done & the entire process it took to get there. We saw our vision come to life & oh what a wonderful feeling it is!

Our sales consultant ([name removed]) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was a major factor in us getting our dream home and lot. Our builder, ([name removed]) was very knowledgeable of general construction and [name removed]'s building process. He was extremely timely in response, often calling guys immediately while we were still together. He is very personable and did a great job guiding us through the build process. Would highly suggest him. Overall friendly community, product amenities , and convenient location are our high points. We were not pleased with the attention to detail by many other staff members that seemed pressured to just complete a task without doing quality work. The top down mindset of QUANTITY over QUALITY was obvious and caused tension with crews trying to complete work with skill and pride. Multiple vendors noted [name removed]'s change in phrase 5 to lower quality product offerings. It seemed to be common practice to move on without completing task correctly and letting MasterCare handle correcting the issue, which lends itself to costly expenses. It is apparent there is not a quality control process in place. There were multiple purchased items that were not installed prior to closing date, including Vitix Wifi extender, and iAqualink system. The doorbell was installed below industry standard, (35" vs standard of 40-48") Our major frustration and concern is the poor quality of the grout workmanship throughout the house. The tile has a straight cut rectified edge, making uneven grout seem more noticeable. Appearance is disappointing but the uneven edges is unacceptable. We have reported this has caused our elderly parent to stumble when the mobility device got obstructed by the tile edge from lack of uniform grout. We hope and trust this will be corrected throughout the house. "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of meeting the schedule has been forgotten." [name removed] was a not a pleasant experience, product or service. Completely disappointed with everything involved from the Sales presentation during our B's, the pressure sales tactics, the product cost, antiquated technology, the lack of installation of WIFI on lanai till a month after closing, the process of scheduling tech to install product, having to order part (ethernet switch) and be shipped before they would schedule tech when this was known when we placed our B's. This is not the type company [name removed]'s needs to deal with. We were extremely happy with Dreamscapes and Miller Screen. Although there were some learning curves initially, they both did a remarkable job in putting the customer's perspective first and making the situation correct. We could not be more pleased with [name removed] and [name removed] at Dreamscapes and Blakes team of [name removed] and [name removed] with Millers.

There are a few things that need to be addressed-the little dog park, bar and restaurant service around the pool, larger selection of menu items, pesticides or herbicides being used on and near the homes, prices for entering events needs to be lowered, screens on the houses need to be reviewed as well as cabinetry, electrical outlets (still don't work properly in our house).

Excellent customer service ([name removed]), Supervisor ([name removed]) and [name removed] ([name removed]). Dislikes, the poor quality and lack of pride in the work by some of the subcontractors (i.e. electrician/contractor of lights/fans/ & multiple ordering blunders ... no fans and light fixture in dining area...to date lol!; window company hiding, with layers of caulking, major cracks on exterior casing!! Ouch!) and the time subs take to repair their work. Frankly, there is little incentive for subs to complete their assigned tasks with quality as the process is all about meeting aggressive closing deadlines and slight motivation to return to repair their low quality work in a timely fashion. Note, several of the subs have a reduced staff for follow up work. This poor business practice should not be accepted by [name removed]. :))

The only problem had been the dishwasher leaking because it wasn’t hooked up right. This caused us to have to leave the house while dehumidifiers and heaters ran non stop for 5 days to dry out the house. The laminate floors were damaged as well as quarter round molding, baseboards also. I liked the warranty because the house was put back to normal as soon as possible. Except for flooring that was back ordered. As soon as it came in the flooring was put right in. Walls were patched and painting was done. There have been a few other minor things that needed fixing and it was done right away.

In the days and weeks following both our closing and our 6 month anniversary, MasterCare's walk throughs revealed minor concerns we had not even noticed. [name removed] goes above and beyond. We must add that everything requiring follow up was very minor.

All was good working with [name removed] from Master Care to the door/trim company and the painting company. Still waiting on a few items to be fixed but all are on the calendar and scheduled except have not heard back from window/blind company that [name removed] put a call into.

Landscaping is unacceptable. Maintenance is unacceptable. For 11 months we have had a tiny bug infestation. Mulch is too thick and it stays too wet. Weeds in the grass. Wetness on the sides of the homes.

Have problems getting responses from mastercare and suppliers. Been waiting 3-4 months on cabinet inspection. Yard is full of weeds. They don’t mow the grass very well in common areas.

There are a few things that need to be addressed-the little dog park, bar and restaurant service around the pool, larger selection of menu items, pesticides or herbicides being used on and near the homes, prices for entering events needs to be lowered, screens on the houses need to be reviewed as well as cabinetry, electrical outlets (still don't work properly in our house).
