After I moved in some areas of the gypcrete flooring has become uneven and sunken. This has caused my LVP to give in many areas as well as lift up at the ends. In one area it is so uneven that I can set a lip gloss case down and it will roll downhill for 8 feet. It is so bad you feel like walking up or down a hill when crossing it and people can even see it at a distance. The builder is trying to tell me this is all within tolerance and simply because it is a "floating floor". The float is not a float, it is giving because there isn't anything underneath it to support it. The installer clearly messed up and now the integrity of the floor is at risk over time. First they told me tolerance by the manufacture standards is 1/4" per every 10ft, but their standards are 3/8" per 7 ft and made it sound like their standard is tighter than the manufacture as if I don't understand that 3/8" is LARGER than 1/4". Additionally, the way they measure is measuring "levelness" of LVP bridging across what is essentially dips underneath the LVP. So they're only measuring the plane of the LVP. But my foot feels the deep dips in the gypcrete. After they had the LVP installer out, now the standard has suddenly changed to 3/8" per 3 ft and magically everything is in tolerance. I've requested the installer name and number and the gypcrete manufacturer contact information to obtain "manufacturer tolerances" that they seem to quote and get nothing but a run around. And magically, the builder has no idea how to contact the installer. Although, I'm willing to bet if they wanted to sue them they'd have their number. Overall, I'm furious. They happy to fix minor cosmetic issues, but anything more complicated with long lasting impact I'm getting nothing but a runaround. I plan to tell everyone that I know to never buy from New [name removed] Co.

Interaction with the building staff was professional and they seemed generally interested in solving problems or answering questions. Interaction with the selling agent was terrible, always on the defensive, unable to answer questions in a positive manner, unwilling to assist with anything but the basics.
