The most miserale experience with [name removed] who was builder‘s property manager at that time never finished the things he promised and obligated including side yard with front entrance becuase the Air Conditioner is built toward end of the side yard with built in wood fence which takes 4/5 width of the yard and it‘s impossible to take care of yard work from back entrance therefore he promised a front gate without any charge; clean up paint residue of kitchen wall & repaint front door patio, severe ant mounds problems; add new grass to side yard (there’s barely any grass there) which caused severe moss problem all over the side yard; the slop of side yard soil is uneven and poorly constructed, ground by side yard fence doesn’t have trench drainage system installed causing flood issue constantly when rains or whenever sprinkler system next door is on - have been dealing with that past six month and still waiting to resolve flood issue of side yard; builder has cut of front yard tree without removing the stump and failed to use stump-killing herbicide hence stump continues to sprout already made three warranty request and haven‘t heard anything yet to either remove stump or plant a new tree because the existing tree is crooked. [name removed] never answered my calls, returned my calls or text message. I work full-time and had to find time to locate [name removed] while he was on the property, he ignored me while I knocked the front door if he stayed inside of a house still under construction. If I was able to get hold of him in person the answer was always “ it will be taken care of ”, ”back order“ or ”I am working on it“ then he left the property shortly after I moved in. Desperately seeking help to resolve those issues.

The only thing I haven't liked was the lack of cooperation to help us when the Trophy home next door (prior to being built) decided to not flip their house plan, for it caused our two patios to be next to each other and therefore the fence is shared. There was no reason for this, and we feel this configuration can cause a devaluation in our home for the lack of privacy in our yard.

Lots of places in kitchen and shower rooms with paint residue have never been removed as promised, two spots on top the portch needs to clean up due to beehives have never been cleaned thoughtly as promised after walk through (those two spots on the portch are very obvious still). Front yard several ant mounds never got treated properly also got ant bites when i moved in because ants are all over the front yard. Front door lock should have been replaced a month ago due to an intruder took place few days after moving in and lock is still on back order. Some of the front yard plants are dying when i moved in. [name removed] has been very helpful so far. Lawn drainage problem by the fence after raining, water stays on the ground for several days.

Normandy is a fine company. The first "General Manager" was NOT very reputable but [name removed] has been great since taking over. Additionally, in our home, I have seen sub-standard work by contractors that should NOT have been sub-standard. NOT sure who monitors the workers in building the homes but it's apparent someone needs to be doing that. Perhaps there would be less issues and warranty work to be done after a home is built with better workmanship.

Overall quality of the home has been disappointing. Many issues have popped up as we have been living here. The side door leaked when it rained, the tile in the master bathroom continues to crack, there are cracks in our ceiling. Tradesmen rarely show up on the scheduled date abs time. Warranty managers are sometimes helpful and sometimes not. We expect a lot more from a company with a reputation like Normandy.

My sales agent [name removed] was AWESOME!!! Her follow up and feedback throughout the process was the best. I was able to get a beautiful home, delivered and finished in time and everything was completed on my punch list to my satisfaction!

The process was long and drawn out. However that is attributed to the times we are in compared to the last home we purchased 9 years ago. I feel the noticeable dry walling was not great. In particular, down the hall toward the garage entry door into the house. Very noticeable uneven sparkling as well as uneven surface behind the drywall...as in the actual construction 2x4 looks bowed.
