My purchase experience was very bad. Things I requested for was not included. Less than a month out move in the house keeps having multiple construction problem. My refrigerator is yet to be installed due to construction problem and I don't know when the problem will be fix. The stress of all has caused me financially, mentality and am currently recovering from hospitalization.

I mostly disliked the poor communication skills we noticed with everything we worked with from Normandy. Due to this, I am left with extra in house projects needed in my home, I think should have been prevented.

The kitchen pantry is not of good quality. Drawers are hard to push or pull. Paint is cracked or flaking off

Communication is great between the sales rep and the construction manager. Quality of the construction does NOT meet our expectation and we have to make several compromise for some obvious flaws of the home and things have to be turned into warranty process to be straighten out. It takes our time and effort. We bought a CB Jeni townhome 6 years ago and we have not encountered this many issues compared with our Normandy single family home.

This entire experience has been anything but enjoyable. At every step, from initial selections and contract signing, to walk throughs, to close, and even move-in, we've had nothing but problems, issues, delays, and a very obvious lack of caring (about your clients and about your workmanship/finished product). Building and moving into a brand new home should be an overall exciting experience and all of the joy was removed from it. You would think, at least on closing day we could let out a sigh of relief but instead we were informed, on the day of, that receipt of keys would be hours after our appointment (causing us to have to reschedule install appointments, deliveries, etc) and when we finally got to walk into now 'our' home for the first time, we were met with a kitchen leak that is unresolved to this day. Instead of moving in, our things are in holding in our garage as trades are constantly in and out removing and fixing the insanely long list of "this isn't the quality of work we normally provide" issues, which would have been much longer and delayed our move-in even farther had we not been checking in so frequently. The number of mistakes and issues got so bad that we felt the need walk the property 3-5 times a week when progress was at it's peak because every day we would find more problems such as tiles being installed the wrong direction, outlets and fixtures missing, outlets installed in the wrong locations, and so much more. When the incorrect sink was installed in our kitchen and we brought this to the attention of our sales rep ([name removed]), the issue had to escalate to her manager ([name removed]) as we were being told it was the correct one. To prove this, we were sent a fabricated excerpt from our contract, which included an unsigned page of design selections that conveniently included the installed sink. Even when providing a copy of the signed selections, which noted a different sink, we were still met with pushback stating the unsigned copy was the "most recent" document. We were meticulous in ensuring everything down to grout colors were documented and signed as we began this build while living in California and did not want to run into these types of issues as a result of ambiguity. We trusted the representatives in this process and this trust was broken time and time again with failed promises, misinformation, falsification, and lies all to get to closing on the house as soon as possible.

Warranty service is very lagged in getting the issues taken care of. We are having to wait months before we get any answers and none of the answers have been consistent enough for me to believe anyone is telling me the truth.

My three closet double doors were never painted at the top. I was told to call two different painting companies and neither company returned my calls. I will have to paint the doors myself. The dishwasher door has no stopper in it, so it comes open on its own. The dishwasher top rack doesn’t close correctly and the warranty company told me that the builder sold me an inferior quality dishwasher. The filter in the attic would be difficult for a retiree to climb the steps to change. I guess I will hire someone to change it. The toilets still rock even though a plumber was sent out to my house twice to repair with shams placed under the bowl. Need more street lamps, neighbor hood is very dark at night. I felt like I fell through the cracks when my salesman [name removed] left. A lot of my wishes were not attended to because I was told it was too late such as no laundry room sink. The fan in the master was supposed to be replaced with more lights instead I got a fan that is mediocre and wish it could have been like the one in my family room if I would have been given a choice. Positive- Gorgeous job on tile floors Design and floor plan is beautiful. My kitchen is amazing. I love the high ceilings. Landscaping is fabulous. [name removed] was amazing to work with! I would highly recommend my builder. Thank you.

When we close the home we didn't got paint and now we need apaint when we goto store they want code and mixing colors we are very disappointed because in our community everyone got left over paint but we are not pls can you provide paint numbers for interior and exterior then we can buy when i asked construction manager he said he left the job its really annoying hus we don't now paint colors right now we need paint And we put work order for our pavement infornt of my house its more than 5 months they put mark but they didn't do anything and in our drive way our pavement getting cracking and in the garage also we saw lot of cracks and and its chipping a lot pls resloved my issue

I don't like one thing after we came to my house they change kitchen counter top because of damage and they didn't bring same one they bring another one not same has old one they change on cooktop side and iland they didn't change the fridge side it looks different that is only one i dont like.

super weird time to be buying a house. I like that during the final walk through we were able to compromise and do a virtual tour instead of me needing to be there in person since we were moving from Denver, CO

Both gentlemen were always available and easy to reach via email, text, or cell phone. This certainly was a different experience from when we built our home prior with another builder.
