From the sales team to the head contractor [name removed] to the warranty team everyone treated me Like I was their number one priority and they stood behind their work. I never worried throughout the entire process that I would be taken care of from start to finish. I just couldn’t be happier with this build in the year that I have lived in my property. What a beautiful home and community.

Nearly 6 months after closing, I still have not signed off on my home being complete. Things from my walk-through that were not done (despite being forced to close) are still not done.

Since we have moved in so much has occurred and our things in the home that need to be fixed are still ongoing. We are almost at our year mark and we have been living in a home that constantly has work being done. We’ve been through multiple builders, area managers, and warranty and it’s been a nightmare. Always getting pushed out & things are not getting complete on a timely matter. For instance, our floors. We were moved out to completely replace our floors and level our slab and after they moved us back in and walked the house there is still over 10 spots in the house that are lifted, not sealed, and hallow sounding. This again has not been addressed & it’s so frustrating. Actually, this could of been fixed at our walk through BEFORE moving in. Then they move us out and don’t even walk it to make sure it’s better before moving us back in and again not fixing. Overall we are very disappointed with how this has been and how we’ve been treated. We just want this fixed and how it should be and not half done. Mind you we were out for a week and floors were done in a day. [name removed] sure how these spots were not caught. Very frustrating. Then now we’re STILL deleting with a list of things on warranty not being done. Please get us in touch with someone who can make this better!

Since it was a busy / shortage of the worker, resources, and many more of hard situations, out home has little lack of details and some errors that are needed to be corrected. But overall, I cannot complaint. Thanks to all

The warranty service has improved somewhat from the time we first moved in. The hinges on the bathroom cabinets are a big problem and there doesn’t seem to be a solution for that.

Working with [name removed] (preferred lender). Specifically [name removed]. He was so condescending and rude through every transaction with him even though we more than qualified for the purchase and put nearly 50% down. He was so bad that I stopped responding or working with him and would only communicate to others in the office. Normandy homes is wonderful and needs to be working with a much more professional lender! The quality of Normandy fat exceeds that of Greenbrick and they are bringing down the Normandy image/ reputation

[name removed] didn't disclose the premium lot fee until after we sent our earnest money and when we explained to management what happened their response was the equivalent of, "Sorry, but tough luck." Second, Normandy ordered the wrong brick and said due to supply issues we could either wait 12 weeks to get the brick we ordered or paint our brick. Then when we told them we'd wait the additional 12 weeks for the brick, the brick selection we'd wanted was suddenly "unavailable." After moving in, we've had to have the HVAC company to our house a total of 9 times in 3 months because the AC keeps breaking down. The ceiling fans that were installed are low quality and extremely noisy. The builder, [name removed], and the agent [name removed] have been excellent to work with, however, they have been about the only positive aspect of this entire experience.

The entire process was not great. So, it is hard to know where to start. Until we contacted the BBB we didn't have the "punch list" of items completed from when we closed on our home and it had been 7 months. We were passed off to the warranty manager who told my husband that these items didn't fall under "warranty" because they were from the list of items that we created BEFORE we closed. I believe all items have been fixed/completed now.

During the contract process, we weren’t given the correct information about our options and it was very confusing. However, the new sales manager was great and answered all of our questions. The construction manager was also amazing. Night and day difference between contract/initial start and the building process

Friendly staff, excellent communication, incredible assistance and attention to detail by my construction manager [name removed]. Did not like person at the design center since she was not at all helpful, and almost acted like it was an imposition to her when I asked for her design expertise. I also would’ve liked a little bit more of a choice on some of the design features since you sent me to a place that had beautiful things but they were not all available to me.

Communication during the building process wasn’t the best. We had 3 fervent construction managers during the build process and lots of things got lost in communication. Post closing has been impossible to get in touch with someone when we’ve had questions and still have not done our post closing walkthrough.

We liked the area and were told that Normandy Homes were good quality. The dislike was the lack of communication, constant changes to our selections, and Green Brick Mortgage's lack of commitment to us but instead were there to make themselves look better. Seems like once you purchased, you just a number that has been forgotten. Worst buying experience thus far in my almost 30 years of purchasing homes (new and pre-owned). Home is good (wouldn't call it great) but compared to many home builders, the technology is lacking unless you pay for it, while others are providing it free.

The communication and follow up are non existent. Our close date was changed and no one ever bothered to tell us, and we had a home to sale, so we were forced to move in with family. We still have items outstanding to be complete and we have lived in our home for more than 30 days.
