The attention to detail was lacking on a lot of the finishes in our house particularly if items were not exactly in direct eyesight. It seems as if there was too much of a rush to complete the house. Our warranty person has been slow to respond to items if at all after the initial warranty request was placed.

Excellent attention to detail and professionalism both in sales and building. The entire process from start to finish was extremely smooth and timely. Each step was documented which was helpful to follow. This is not really a dislike but more of part of the experience that makes it very overwhelming with my lack of experience in building. There are so many things to align that it is easy to miss key adds that could be important once the home is built or how the key adds may affect the end products.

The best part by far about Normandy homes has been the amazing service we have received from our warranty manager, [name removed]. He has been amazing at communication with us and has consistently gone above and beyond what is required of him. For example, our neighbor was having their fence redone which required workers to be in our backyard. My wife was alone and felt uncomfortable by this (the workers did not notify us that they would be needing to use our yard) so she called [name removed] who immediately came to our house, talked to the workers, and offered to return and stay as long as the workers were needing to be there. It ended up being a miscommunication as [name removed] was never informed that they would be working. Either way, he has been absolutely outstanding in serving our family.

There were some issues i identified during warranty but was not addressed . One big one was bathroom countertops (venetian marble) is showing lot of discoloration spots but was told by warranty mgr that its not covered under warranty.Its a quality issue as i have just used tap water to clean it till now and even if that is not safe for venetian marble then why do you guys even have that bad quality countertop as an option. Second one is my chandelier is crooked , i was told that the chadelier i have is not longer is production so i said to give the chandelier which is in model home and i will pay the price difference but there was no action on it. Third is front yard tree I was given dead front yard tree and warranty mgr was quick enough to replace it but it was again replaced with tree which is showing no sign of growth

It was our first new home build and I thought the process went very smoothly. I loved that we were informed week by week on the plans for the following week and the quick response to any minor issues after closing.

Lot of issues with the internal quality of house. Any complaint raised will be answered that it is normal. Starting with insulation, sound proofing, quality of window laying, tile and carpet laying, paint touch ups, plants provided and plants that died in just couple of days of moving. Many issues.

Overall experience was good. Few of the model few of the models architecturial need to improve. For example: we brought a frederic model. In that dinning area n family room windows can’t open. Closer to kitchen it should be open windows same with study room. In the garage with a big vehicle once you come into the and want to open the car door it is stuck with garage door. You should consider these points. Amenities of lake side for painted tree should be arrived. After lakeside they started constructing village side. But they have all amenities close by. We are still waiting. We both are paying hoa fes

Bring first time home buyer, I had lot of questions which [name removed] addressed with patience. I was well informed at every step, milestones via email or text even when I was out of country for few months. [name removed] fulfilled her commitment for closing month in March and upon our request accommodated the dates as well which was really wonderful. [name removed], the construction manager is a fantastic person to talk. He walked me through the entire house and took time to explain each and every devices, faucets (lol) HVAC and what not. [name removed] our construction manager is went beyond his responsibility to fix the issues from third party inspection to our blue taping. He is very down to earth person and make all his efforts to fix and resolve the issues.

I don’t like people in design studio they are not fit for the first time home buyers. Normandy sales manager should have a list that includes whats comes by default in each room/home instead of ask and tell, so that atleast we can order prewiring or design studio

I liked the way sales manager([name removed]) explained the details and helped me to completed purchase steps. Also builder manager was very helpful in fix the issues we and private inspection found. Overall I liked the home and construction. Specifically, prewired of security and sound systems. provision for speakers and security cameras. 8/9" doors, quality kitchen cabinets. Dislikes/Improvements: * It would be nice if Normandy help to change small thing before buying like upgrade appliances (i was ready to pay extra for upgrades) * Pre-closure private inspection found 20+ issues, couple of them are critical. I would request Normandy team give additional attention to quality of completion for the work done by contractors.

The process was wonderful, the ability to watch the house being built from start to finish was so nice; how many people can say that and be able to see that. All of the people we worked with through the process were kind, professional and willing to help especially [name removed], who bar none is one of the best and insightful people we've met. His experience and knowledge is something we cherish always. From the day we walked into the sales office, we had the pleasure of meeting [name removed]. She was always informative and provided updated information each week. She, too is a gem! We also interacted with [name removed] on occasion and he was quite helpful, too.

What we liked about our experience was our sales agent [name removed]. He was very responsive for our emails and phone communications. He proactively reached out if there were any things that we missed or any advice needed as a first-time home buyer. Even after the purchase of the home, he made sure to follow up with us regarding our filter changes or things we can do during winter to save our pipes during the storm. Even during the purchase of our home, [name removed] make sure that you're not rushed and took our time to make a sane decision We got a home that fell through from a different buyer during the closing, so our experience between contract and movement was only 30 days. There was nothing that We disliked.

Sales Manager [name removed] was just awesome! What I did not like is the fact that kitchen cabinets are mdf by default and wood is available only as upgrade. The stain choices for cabinet is only limited to one stain color. Construction manager [name removed] was very patient in answering all my questions. The quality of construction is excellent. I did not like the fact that media room did not have any option to insert sound insulation batts in the walls to make it more sound proof.

We absolutely loved [name removed], we had previously worked with another builder and while cross shopping we spoke to many different property managers and [name removed] was just 100% up to speed on everything, she knew every detail, every question was always instantly answered. She was always 100% responsive in emails and was always within reach in a matter of minutes, weekends, nights, didn't matter she was always available to respond and get back to us. Compared to others we've worked with she was just on-point.
