First of all, the manager who is responsible for my house took advantage of me being a first time home buyer, with a lot of things unfixed, I closed my house and just a few days ago when I did my first year warranty inspection my inspector told a lot of the items are crucial but not fixed. Moreover, the house quality is not what I have expected, I paid upgrades for my drawers and there are defects and that's only part of the story, I've submitted a one year warranty service let's see how that goes. Also some small issue that you would not think that will happen to a newly built house. Lastly it's the thing that I can not bear with most is the counter top issue, we have selected 18 cm for our bathrooms upstairs but it is not what was installed. The answer I got there might be a error as much as 3cm. Nobody never told me about that when I bought the house, this is something I expect before closing or even making selections. Overall it is a good house but I won't recommend Normandy to either my friends or colleagues since most of the people I got in touch with failed to deliver what they should have delivered.

We are having issues with regard to humidity levels even after multiple services by the hvac company. We also seem to have a bug issue as we daily find large spiders and other bugs. Also have some other areas where the quality of our home has fallen short of other builders’.

Considering how it started out when I was buying this house and how I nearly backed out because of the experience I had with the sales representative, this made up for that bad experience

Service we received from [removed]. Whatever I reported he did take care of most of the things and taking care of the remainder. Few of my dis-satisfaction items were during Sale process. (a) It was not declared that the house was in market for about 6 months, (b) that a buyer did buy it previously and they backed out, (c) We were given a rosy picture about base price that she could not go below the base price, while the base price kept changing, which is just pure cheating, a similar house was sold for ~$411K with upgraded appliances and pull-over trash can and other additions, while when we were purchasing we were not told that the pull over trash can wouldn't come with it and we ended up with ~$427K-5K. Few other dis satisfactions about the OVERALL QUALITY of the house Doors and windows, cheaper wiring that causes flickering in the house by just connecting a laser printer. Lots of cuts, uneven surfaces on the doors. We compared with [removed] homes and their finish of doors, windows and trims was much much better. Painting is still bad. In my view all my doors should be properly repainted as the colors are not consistent and the doors in newer homes have a better finish compared to what we have in ours. Caulking is cracking within just one year. Stones were given to other homes but we were denied to help surround landscape area. Still unhappy that we were not given the pull over trash can. It is mainly the service from [removed] and the construction managers that visited us and helped resolve lots of issues in the house that made a big difference to keep us engaged with Normandy and we will still recommend you guys.
