Sales rep came across as a little rude and not as helpful
Frisco, on Jun 14, 2023
The Media room wall is like snake and lot of bubbles are there on Dry wall, the warranty person [name removed] says its normal and tolerance.
Frisco, TX, on Mar 19, 2023
Overall great. Have a few things open that we need to continue to work with the builder.
Frisco, on May 01, 2023
The warranty Manager is very rude. He's not accepting the issues . Poor quality materials are used. Toilet bowls are very poor quality and stain in next day. Poor insulation. Poor workmanship.
Frisco, on May 20, 2023
The home layout and options were excellent. I felt the wall workmanship was good but not great. The windows, fixtures, doors and flooring were excellent. The process of buying was easy and there were enough choices in home plans.
Frisco, on Nov 18, 2022
Warranty service is phenomenal. [name removed] is prompt and super helpful every time we interact. I just wonder about the future durability of the electrical systems.
Frisco, on Jan 21, 2023
it's a great home for first buyers but some things are not clear for the first home buyers and sometmes its hard to get things there

Like the quickness in response. On time delivery. Better or easier exchange options might be an good idea to attract more
Frisco, on Jan 20, 2022
The warranty process - after the sale issues not being addressed timely or seriously.
Frisco, on Jun 10, 2022
4 warranty tickets that were opened are yet to be serviced.
Frisco, TX, on Jan 15, 2023
1. I don't like the behavior of the salesperson ([name removed]) , She is rude , arrogant, and has no respect for customers. 2. The Quality of the home is not up to the minimum basic standards. It doesn't look like build with professionals or with basic quality . 3. If I start explaining everything in detail , starting with the main door entrance , which is not even properly fixed, as the automatic lock is not working as expected . If we look at the main door there is a broken piece that's fixed by adding patches. 4. There is no way that I had to spend 1.1M on this house which is not worthy. The Carpet is not aligned properly and I requested the service for proper alignment, but however they are meant to say that's how it's made. But this is not the first house we are living in. We did live in brand new house and I see that was built properly without any issues neither on alignments nor on the quality of it. 5. The Steps Rail wood already started cracks on wood and they started falling off as small chips. 6. Garage door wood started coming out and looks like a broken one. 7. If I start explaining I can point out all issues starting with the main door to the outdoor lawn. As we were really in a hurry at the time of closing and didn't analyze it in detail. We have been living in this house for 2 weeks and started noticing all issues for which we are not even 10% happy.
Frisco, on Sep 19, 2021
[name removed] much,. Most of it all was pretty good.
Frisco, on Jun 01, 2022
The warranty services are responsive, but the repairs are often downplayed as if they are nothing. I think the build process should consider attention to details because it gets harder to correct after the build.
Frisco, TX, on Jan 10, 2023
Liked the quality and service when something breaks Disliked items where they did not fixed as part of closing. Even after 50 days of closing many items are not closed and no one responded
Frisco, on Jul 08, 2021
Everyone from sales to support has been great to work with. Wish quality and attention to detail was a little better
Frisco, on May 31, 2022
I like everything regular updates , design center work, default options with house pretty good one. I don’t like the way sales person [name removed] talks she is so rude in handling customers I got hurt many times but I was quite due to the market conditions
Frisco, TX, on Dec 30, 2022
1. Bad quality of workmanship 2. The home finished in a rush without checking quality and the engineer /sales person not worried about customer care. 3. [name removed] worth the money paid 4. Sales person was arrogant and no respect to buyer 5. Bad insulation 6. Normandy homes can sell the home today but the customer service will fail them in market for sure 7. Engineer is worst and not worried about quality & buyer is responsible for identify the contractor defects. 8. [name removed] happy with the purchase
Frisco, on Mar 31, 2021
Like Quality of build dislike - Attic ladder is not installed which not been communicated to me,
Frisco, on Apr 24, 2022
Lack of communication. We have a water softener loop system that was install incorrectly. Having a hard time getting the SI of the project to give me date when it can be fixed.
Frisco, TX, on Oct 01, 2022
Due to the market asymmetry, buyers like me were treated like dirt. The community sales manager, [name removed], threatened to cancel the contract if I didn’t adhere to her communication guidelines. Requests to add minor changes at my own cost were summarily rejected. And, I was kept at dark about the closing date until about 5 weeks earlier - prevented me from planing my move from Seattle or get a mortgage with favorable interest rates. I sincerely wish the downturn in housing market will bring down CSMs like [name removed] from their high porches and make them realize how to be customer oriented.
Frisco, on Jan 13, 2021
Overall happy with quality of the house but not happy with overall sound proof within the house, between the room and across the room so much sound issue. All the conversations are heard. I am totally upset with how Architecture arrived for this model. I love overall plan but sound issue making so much upset.
Frisco, on Mar 31, 2022
Liked about design of home and disliked about quality of home
Frisco, TX, on Aug 24, 2022
The contract experience was timely but was rushed with the closing date. There was no flexibility on the dates and even after closing there are quite a few items that are not complete.
Frisco, on Jan 05, 2021
I like the quality of materials used to build the house. I liked how [name removed] and [name removed] were both responsive to the repair requests we've submitted. The few issues we've encountered since owning the house are: a creaky area in the upstairs media room floor and in the upstairs hallway floor to the powder bath (most part fixed); drywall fixes are noticeable; pull out trash bin mechanism broke; HVAC plumbing and electrical issues (fixed); hallway plug tripping issue (fixed); and leak on an irrigation zone in front of the house.
Frisco, TX, on Aug 08, 2022
The Sales [name removed] at the Community came off as Rude all the time. Even for basic questions, her default response was defensive and dismissive. Even if it did turn out to be an issue on her or her teams part.During one of the phone call, I had to literally tell her on the phone to be polite and answer the question. I understand the market has been the way it is, but user experience still matters.
Frisco, TX, on Jul 31, 2022
I liked the frequent check-ins and straightforward pricing.
Frisco, on Sep 30, 2020
Loved the quality of standard finishes and materials. Great layout and with no wasted space.

Likes: 1. Our marketing manager - Ms. [name removed] was excellent starting from signing the contract to closing the home. She was a very helpful, an excellent guide to first-time home buyers. Big Thank you to her. 2. Normandy Homes was excellent in adhering to the timelines even in these market conditions 3. Mr.[name removed] the builder is good, approachable, and has worked upon the concerns. 4. Mr.[name removed](Warranty manager) is excellent too, we had our first meeting after 30 days. He is very patient in answering the queries and looks very approachable. Good to Have: 1. Being a premium builder it would be good to include a smart home package as part of the home 2. And with all connected home capabilities taking center stage, it would be good for Normandy homes to have homes internet fiber ready than traditional cable lines.
Frisco, on Aug 30, 2020
1) The ceiling lights in all our bed rooms are placed very close to ceiling fans. When we turn both fan and lights ON, at least 10+ images of rotating fan’s shadow shows up all over on walls and in the room. It’s almost impossible to stay in the room and do anything with both fan and lights ON. My kids keep complaining that they can’t focus on reading. I escalated this to Normandy, looking for a fix soon. 2) The driveway concrete work is done so poor, poor quality is so visible when you compare with neighbors houses which are also built by Normandy. In addition, the builder did a coat on mine which started peeling off already. Looking for a fix for this from Normandy soon.
Frisco, on Nov 20, 2021
We Like Quality of Home and We disliked they didn't provided some of the structural changes didn't allowed compare to other builders are providing

Everything was Great, Special thanks to [name removed] and [name removed] my builder who are always available and helping me with my questions .. as this is my new home and first time buyer i had billion questions and they answered most of them very clearly to me

Frisco, TX, on Mar 02, 2022
I like weekly updates, builder walk through, New Home orientation. Customer experience could have been better but you guys meet the most of the expectation in the pandemic time.
Frisco, on Aug 13, 2021
Toilet problem, leaky room - warranty department is great in responding but not contractors.
Frisco, TX, on Feb 27, 2022
Contract to move-in was ok. Although the whole process was long due to shortage of building materials, my sales person kept us informed. However, certain items were wrongly designed and delivered. For example, we were selected a short dining area bench to be able to get a tall window installed but instead, a short window was installed. Also our unit is missing a master shower bench.
Frisco, on Jul 31, 2019
the quality of houses is really good and people respond quickly
Frisco, TX, on Feb 11, 2022
[name removed] and [name removed] have been of great help during the process and thanks to both of them.
Frisco, on Jan 30, 2021
I like the quick response from the warranty team. I’m disappointed that I had to enter several tickets for the same issue. I’m also very disappointed that an issue I had with the flapping air vents outside my house would not be considered repair or taken care of. The flapping noise has been very loud very frustrating. When we have family and friends come over to see our new house, that is always a topic of discussion and how the builder will not address it.
Frisco, TX, on Feb 02, 2022
[name removed] is very easy and not happy the way she had our communications other than her communication I am very happy with rest all
Frisco, on Dec 13, 2020
Ever since the start of construction i have been seeing sub-standard quality of construction. The finished product is also same. The biggest problem is with floors, both downstairs and upstairs. There have been multiple inspections and the issues are not yet resolved yet and the communication has not been fluent. There is a tussle between who needs to get the floors fixed and no solution has come forward to us. The vinyl plank floors have been a big problem since the day were laid. The second floor has creaks all over the second floor and is not even, you can feel it being a patch work of smaller segments of floors clobbed together. This is NOT the case with other normandy homes in the community. The stairs creak as well. The painting on Island and Dry bar was not done as per contract. (this is attempted to be fixed but now its not done with similar sheen & finish as the rest of the cabinets.) Dry wall issues in multiple places, Windows have Scratches and I was told that they would be replaced but no one has showed up for that. Doors make noise, Bath tub has scratches delivered new Shower door is not aligned and makes noise while opening closing. The tiles in bathrooms have un-even gaps, levels, grout sizes, & grout finishing. + other 10s of items If you want more information, please call directly at 408-455-0012. Too much to list and this home purchase has been one of the lessons of my life. The sales & builder have goals to finish closing of the home on a certain day and we met the goal, considering that I will be taken care of later, since both of them were affected by covid and they were quarantined. I based on humanitarian grounds accepted to close the home based on promises only to be then neglected by them. I have not submitted the first survey, just because i wanted to appeal to the human side and allow them to fix all the things before I voice my displeasure. BTW: [name removed] has been responsive and has been taking steps to solve the things one by one. About the LVP floors, I'd would like the refund of upgrade money paid for the same, I not longer want Southwest guys to come and fix the same. Thank you, Veeren Jote 13656 [name removed], Frisco TX

Warranty support team was excellent. Building construction can improve in the status update communication
Frisco, TX, on Jan 02, 2022
there is no flexibility in amending the contract even for minor changes to the buyer where as the builder has the flexibility for lot of amendments , better design studio walk thru for those making choices over the video , 3d video of models would be great help
