I like the quick response from the warranty team. I’m disappointed that I had to enter several tickets for the same issue. I’m also very disappointed that an issue I had with the flapping air vents outside my house would not be considered repair or taken care of. The flapping noise has been very loud very frustrating. When we have family and friends come over to see our new house, that is always a topic of discussion and how the builder will not address it.

Ever since the start of construction i have been seeing sub-standard quality of construction. The finished product is also same. The biggest problem is with floors, both downstairs and upstairs. There have been multiple inspections and the issues are not yet resolved yet and the communication has not been fluent. There is a tussle between who needs to get the floors fixed and no solution has come forward to us. The vinyl plank floors have been a big problem since the day were laid. The second floor has creaks all over the second floor and is not even, you can feel it being a patch work of smaller segments of floors clobbed together. This is NOT the case with other normandy homes in the community. The stairs creak as well. The painting on Island and Dry bar was not done as per contract. (this is attempted to be fixed but now its not done with similar sheen & finish as the rest of the cabinets.) Dry wall issues in multiple places, Windows have Scratches and I was told that they would be replaced but no one has showed up for that. Doors make noise, Bath tub has scratches delivered new Shower door is not aligned and makes noise while opening closing. The tiles in bathrooms have un-even gaps, levels, grout sizes, & grout finishing. + other 10s of items If you want more information, please call directly at 408-455-0012. Too much to list and this home purchase has been one of the lessons of my life. The sales & builder have goals to finish closing of the home on a certain day and we met the goal, considering that I will be taken care of later, since both of them were affected by covid and they were quarantined. I based on humanitarian grounds accepted to close the home based on promises only to be then neglected by them. I have not submitted the first survey, just because i wanted to appeal to the human side and allow them to fix all the things before I voice my displeasure. BTW: [name removed] has been responsive and has been taking steps to solve the things one by one. About the LVP floors, I'd would like the refund of upgrade money paid for the same, I not longer want Southwest guys to come and fix the same. Thank you, Veeren Jote 13656 [name removed], Frisco TX

Overall happy with quality of the house but not happy with overall sound proof within the house, between the room and across the room so much sound issue. All the conversations are heard. I am totally upset with how Architecture arrived for this model. I love overall plan but sound issue making so much upset.

I like the quality of materials used to build the house. I liked how [name removed] and [name removed] were both responsive to the repair requests we've submitted. The few issues we've encountered since owning the house are: a creaky area in the upstairs media room floor and in the upstairs hallway floor to the powder bath (most part fixed); drywall fixes are noticeable; pull out trash bin mechanism broke; HVAC plumbing and electrical issues (fixed); hallway plug tripping issue (fixed); and leak on an irrigation zone in front of the house.

1) The ceiling lights in all our bed rooms are placed very close to ceiling fans. When we turn both fan and lights ON, at least 10+ images of rotating fan’s shadow shows up all over on walls and in the room. It’s almost impossible to stay in the room and do anything with both fan and lights ON. My kids keep complaining that they can’t focus on reading. I escalated this to Normandy, looking for a fix soon. 2) The driveway concrete work is done so poor, poor quality is so visible when you compare with neighbors houses which are also built by Normandy. In addition, the builder did a coat on mine which started peeling off already. Looking for a fix for this from Normandy soon.

Like - Very prompt in response by the Sales Manager Like - Very detailed on the Contract Agreement and stick with the plans Like - Completed the project before the committed date. Dislike - Few surprises we got. 1. There is no Ladder to the attic in two car garages. We didn't know about it until the final day walkthrough. Dislike - Maintenance Warranty support still not been contacted after we closed in. We had few lists of repair work, still not been completed yet. We have submitted multiple requests, but no response yet.

Sales Manager [name removed] guided us very well during the initial Contract phase, she gave us all information very patiently, being a first-time home buyer, this greatly helped us. Our Construction Managers [name removed] and [name removed] are excellent, would give the highest possible rating for both of them. Every Weekly check-in meeting with [name removed] was very detailed, [name removed] taking great care to explain the current status and future schedule of work. When [name removed] took over, he continued the same and did an excellent Final Walk-through, was very responsible and responsive for all open issues in the house and took great care to clear them. [name removed] and [name removed] will be the reasons for us to refer our friends to Normandy Homes!
