I loved the weekly updates, especially since we lived out of town. The interior designer ([name removed]) was very very helpful and we are so happy with the choices she helped us with. [name removed] & [name removed] were both a delight to work with. Their communication was clear and so helpful. They certainly know how to build a great home and help us through the process. We disliked working with Highlands as a lender. [name removed] and [name removed] were horrible to work with. They would send us 7 emails in 7 hours all asking for different things, and then call us when we didn’t get back to them in 30 minutes. They frequently did not follow through with our requests for the rates that day and would send us quotes for terms we didn’t want.

Overall, the process went pretty smoothly, especially after I reviewed the contract and found all the details were clear and well-organized. Communication was steady throughout, and I really appreciated how responsive the team was whenever I had questions. It helped ease my concerns, and the move-in itself was mostly hassle-free, making the transition a lot easier. A special shout-out to Misty for making this journey unforgettable and effortless

The director failed to grant us meeting we requested for twice when we wanted to negotiate closing date. Which I feel wasn't good for customer management. However, [name removed] was quite good with managing all scenarios. The Dryer wall vent and socket orifice isn't the standard used for all homes, I was at Home depot and they confirmed ours was eccentric.

I would not recommend to anyone. I don't even want it for myself. From the bad caulk job, cracked floor tiles, cracked primary tub, the oven & dishwasher breaking the first 30 days due to poor installation. I really wish there was a way to walk away from it cleanly without a foreclosure.

I liked the communication from [name removed]. She was very responsive to calls and emails and she sent updates. The construction managers took all the time that was needed to complete the orientation and explain everything. Everything was very thorough.

Cracks in nearly every room, issue with sprinkler system, no working outlets in master bath, bad calk at the doors, backdoor scrubs, countertops have poor seal at edges, horrible label for electrical panel. If I had the chance to reverse the purchase I would in a Mississippi minute

There are 3 appts that you do that are related to money spent. First you pick a lot and elevation with basic items you would like to have. Then homepro is next, lots of money spent here. Then final electrical/gas/etc. I feel it should be changeable between the 3 so you can spend exactly where you limit is. For example, we wanted to spend no more than $600. We came in 5 grand cheaper and we would have used that at homepro or possible requested a different lot. But at this point it is too late to change lots.
