Each Olson community starts with a simple question. How can we give homeowners the best quality of life possible? The answer starts with where we build. Committed to seeing the potential of the urban landscape, we re-entitle, rezone, and develop underutilized parcels, building energy-efficient homes that are close to jobs, key transportation links, and numerous recreational and entertainment options. Since most of our communities are in mature neighborhoods, they require minimal infrastructure, helping to keep construction costs low, taxes reasonable, and home prices attainable. Each Olson community name includes the word “walk” because our vision is for homeowners to be able to exit their front door and walk to shopping, restaurants, cafes, and schools, engaging with their neighbors and becoming part of the fabric of their cities.

I loved how responsive the reps have been in the buying process ([name removed]). Information and documents were given and signed promptly throughout. One thing that I would hope [name removed] can do better for others is setting expectations for tech support. I had trouble with my in-wall speaker playing randomly and the emergency hotline did not give any help. Yes, the problem was fixed eventually through a vendor I was connected to (SST). But it would have been better if we were given a simple list of all the tech upgrades (we bought a model) and explained clearly that the Olson Company outsources service for these upgrades. We were given a thick packet of upgrades that we understood as explaining the dollar value of each upgrade and was under the impression that [name removed] is the one who is responsible for any relevant troubleshooting.

The warranty service has been quite easy so far. We've had some minor issues, like a slow water leak from the spigot in the garage, I talked to my [name removed] rep and this was fixed the by the week.

I love the [name removed] rep visitations. [name removed] visited us three times within the first year. He was kind and thorough each time, even showing me how to remove scuffs on walls and making small repairs himself.

[name removed] my rep has done an excellent job. He has been in contact with me periodically, visiting me a few times. He notices things and proactively resolves issues. For example, he has changed batteries of smoke detectors, touched up paint, removed scuffs, and replaced air filters at my home without me asking him. He's friendly and helpful!

I appreciated that our community partnered with & referred me to a bank that offered lower interest rates. The process was smooth thanks to Debi & Sorin. I only encountered a few issues with the build quality itself: electricity/wiring, pipes, uneven walls.

[name removed] has been great in handling our service requests. Only thing I dislike is the response/effort from powerstone/hoa. Some times they don’t respond to my emails regarding issues such as broken cars parked forever in a guest parking spot.

- I was very impressed by Carlos and Debbie’s professionalism, candor, and promptness throughout the sales process. I feel blessed to have found this property, the salesman, and to have purchased from such a fantastic builder. - The title company and the closing process was seamless (from a buyer’s perspective). - The design center was an enjoyable experience. - Van and his team were professional and thorough in their craftsmanship. - Sorin’s positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail have made the post-buyers experience pleasant. - Home owner’s satisfaction team has been professional and highly responsive. - The Homeowners Association has been professional and effective. No complaints thus far! I love my new home and would not only purchase another Olsen home but would recommend family and friends to do the same’

[name removed] is very responsive and goes the extra mile to help out. Helped provide prompt info to help get my AC fixed. Appreciate prompt response given safety situation of garage door broken was able to use other service team and was reimbursed for that service. AC mechanic said that my AC and my neighbor's AC was never working, which is disappointing since it probably inflated my July electric bill (SCE is taking a long time to approve my use of the solar).

I liked everything from start to end . Only thing I had hard time was to bringing the appliances. The the third party of the Best Buy counldnt bring the appliances up to the second/ third floor bc of the space is too tight in the stairs and the corner of each floor and the ceiling was low so had very hard time. I did it with the 5th try of other cranes service

There were some slight miscommunications during the design phase with the Design Center however it was resolved via phone call fairly quickly. Overall, a great experience.
