Each Olson community starts with a simple question. How can we give homeowners the best quality of life possible? The answer starts with where we build. Committed to seeing the potential of the urban landscape, we re-entitle, rezone, and develop underutilized parcels, building energy-efficient homes that are close to jobs, key transportation links, and numerous recreational and entertainment options. Since most of our communities are in mature neighborhoods, they require minimal infrastructure, helping to keep construction costs low, taxes reasonable, and home prices attainable. Each Olson community name includes the word “walk” because our vision is for homeowners to be able to exit their front door and walk to shopping, restaurants, cafes, and schools, engaging with their neighbors and becoming part of the fabric of their cities.

The only issue I'm having with my home is I wish we would have had an upgrade option for electrical. I would have loved to determine a room as an office and not have the power of that room hooked up to anything else in the same breaker. Even better if we could have upgraded the amps on the breaker for that room as well.

A major issue I had throughout the whole purchase experience was with the lender that [name removed] recommended. My loan officer [name removed], from [name removed] [name removed] Bank, caused a delay in my closing date. One of the most significant challenges I encountered with [name removed] was his poor communication. He failed to provide a clear and consistent paper trail of our discussions, avoiding almost any email and text documentation. This lack of record-keeping led to an instance of miscommunication, causing confusion and unnecessary back-and-forth. Additionally, he did not accurately retain the decision I made regarding my loan documents, drafting them incorrectly and then resisting when corrections were requested. This behavior gave the impression that he did not prioritize customer input or strive for accuracy in his work. It became apparent that [name removed] struggles with managing multiple customers efficiently. His lack of organization resulted in errors that directly impacted my closing process, ultimately delaying my scheduled move-in date and disrupting vendor arrangements. These missteps not only caused frustration but also had tangible consequences on my financial and logistical planning. Based on my experience, I believe there is significant room for improvement in [name removed]'s communication, organizational skills, and commitment to customer service. It is crucial for a loan officer to maintain clear records, accurately track customer details, and be responsive to corrections when errors are made. I would not recommend working with [name removed] in his current capacity unless substantial changes are made to his approach in handling clients. Other than that, I did not have any issues with [name removed] and their representatives. I had a pleasant experience working with [name removed] and [name removed], who were helpful and quick to respond to my questions and problems.

I liked the monthly and biweekly updates about my home and community update newsletter. I like the ability to have a lot of options when designing my new home with the design center. All the sale representatives were very nice and helpful each step of the way. I liked having the open wall orientation and new home orientation to get very comfortable with the ins and outs of the home. I disliked that during our new home orientation there was a lot of things we needed to point out for touch up or fixing instead of just enjoying seeing our new home all finished.

My experience with the whole purchasing process was excellent. All staff involved were absolutely delightful, helpful and caring. Usa bank [name removed] is a blessing. The [name removed] walk office staff were do nice! [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed] My all time favorite!! Is a beautiful soul. Something about her just make you feel at ease. And the only reason why I did not give a 10 was to the builders.. when I finally moved in my room have a hump across the floor hidden under the carpet. Not a great feeling to step on every day
