There are some issues after closing. However the after closing service maintenance people are great and exceptional on helping us getting the issues done.

Warranty dept (JJ) is a 10+ for addressing all of the issues that were left undone at closing. [name removed] saved the day for [name removed] by going above and beyond to help us.

The whole experience was a nightmare. Build took 2 years, multiple builders, multiple sales personnel, and then multiple warranty personnel. Having to put more than 2 tickets in for issues, lack of communication, dead plants not replaced, and overall lack of pride in the product or customer service.

No proper response from the warranty team. 1. During closing [name removed] turned down the request to move the closing date by a week. However now there is a leak in my window and I am sitting for 3 months without proper communication. Each time when I reach out I get an answer that we will come. 2. Same with door’s lock. 3. Lot of nuisance with next door construction. Builders are not willing to listen to us and work with us. We are very disappointed with shaddock.

Warranty Manager [name removed] is the only good thing about [name removed], he empathizes with us & helped us a lot in fixing the water leak, dead tree & electrical issues. He is very prompt & calls us immediately once after we submit any warranty request.

Lack of communication, poor planning as far as getting contractors lined up at appropriate times. The build process took twice as long as projected. The wood floor wasn't installed properly per the manufacturer guidelines, effectively voiding the manufacturer's warranty. The landscaping was done poorly. The grading of the ground was done poorly. Other than that things have been great. It's a beautiful home.

The biggest struggle has been the internal churn inside [name removed]. From the buyers perspective, I bought a home from [name removed]. I should be able to submit a request and it gets handled behind the scenes versus being told by one associate that it is someone else's to do.

We had multiple difficulties with HomePro. Everything shaddock did was great, but our experience with [name removed] was subpar.

There are so many things outstanding that were not fixed as committed that I can't list them all. The quality of the work done by your contractors is questionable. Going back to the beginning we had a less than impressive experience with your Design Center. As the house went up there we many avoidable errors that were made. We were pressured to close with promised that all would be done by closing. That did not happen. My wife is an realtor with good relationships with both Tradition and Highland Homes. She knows what is expected from new builds. [name removed] fell short. One bright area on your team was [name removed]. He deserves a 10 rating for jumping thru hoops to help us. [name removed] at [name removed] lighting was also very responsive. As far as the rest of the [name removed] team, I have little positive to report.

I am into 6 months now, and still can’t seem to get the Final Acceptance Items List COMPLETED by the construction manager. Warranty dept has been awesome!

Was not clear on what comes standard. Each builder within [name removed] has their own definition. It will be beneficial to provide the list. A clear window in the bathroom is worst option that shaddock can provide. We didn’t like that at all. Other than these, we had a great experience and will recommend shaddock to any of my friends.

It was a rough experience for most of the period. Once [name removed] was assigned to us and she took a grip of things, we started to see progress. [name removed] also helped tremendously in getting things moving and assisting us with solutions to new issues that came along. These two team members were the best part of our home buying experience. Our confidence got a boost with them on board!

The process took almost twice the amount of time that we were originally told. We lost our salesperson mid-way. The communication process needs a lot of improvement. The staff were so dissatisfied with their employment that it impacted our process. The 2 houses on both sides of us were sold, built and moved into within our timeframe. This is our second [name removed] home and we are still struggling with the lack of customer focus.

We contracted early and multiple homes were completed before our home. Our sales person changed and communication becane an issue. Quality and craftsmanship was below average and less than our previous home builder and our current home is a much more expensive home. Attention to detail was severely missed. Materials and design that we chose was not delivered. We felt like the last 30 days was extremely rushed and we were cohorts into closing on a home that was not cleaned, finished or ready just because the builder wanted to complete the walkthrough and warranty meeting. We were rushed through our final walkthrough and warranty meeting and there was multiple outstanding items that still needed to be completed. With such a large purchase this was a very disappointing home buying experience. I have seen the [name removed] quality for years and our home failed to meet that standard. We would have chosen a different builder had we known the final result of this build with [name removed]. This was a fail..
