Overall I’m not impressed with the overall quality of the build. We had cracking in the slab in the first 6 months then after it was repaired more cracks appeared within just a few months of the first repairs. We also were shorted 5 inches of insulation in the attic over the back part of the home which lead to those rooms and areas to be a noticeable temperature difference. We also had problems with the windows had to be reshimmed several times and 2 of them completely replaced because they were not properly installed. I was also not happy that aluminum wire was used for my dryer and hot water circuits on my home but homes built later in the same subdivision copper wire was used instead. Most of the other issues/ problems we had were minor cosmetic things that were understandable. Everyone that we dealt with through the process was very helpful and easy to work with so I can appreciate that. I also appreciate the fact that through the whole process my contact was honored after all the major price increases and delays.

When ownership changed, my house was in the middle of construction. I had to fight for items that were in my signed contract that the new owners decided to discontinue. Still did not get the in the wall exterminating system that was a major draw for me. Also turned in small warranty list 2 months ago and have not been contacted by anyone to even look at the items. Otherwise, love the floor plan, the community, and the overall quality of the home.

Even with the supply chain shortage delays, Monty & Martin kept me Informed weekly and sent pictures and called regularly regardless of weather it was good news or simply a status update. They definitely made the process very easy and enjoying. Adam at legacy Mutual was also fantastic!!!

I think that the process went really smooth with View Homes. However, the lending was a nightmare. That is not on View Homes at all, however, I think you guys should look into Hector over at Fairway and make sure he is not the one getting the business from View Homes.

We disliked that the entire kitchen and half of our living room was flooded with our bath/shower drainage water on our first move-in night after a 1200 mile drive to get to our new home. The flood was due to the negligence of View Homes not checking the pre-inspection checklist for a flagged warning about the cleanout pipe under the sink needing to be capped. We'll be making sure to mention this in just about every review platform available to us. There is so much more I want to mention and say, but we are still in long-term shock at what we've experienced so far in this home.

I would have liked a little more information about my fence, so that I could have extended it around my windows on the east side of the house. I was trying to make the home as affordable as possible. So this was most likely the reason I was not informed about extra fencing. Purchasing of the home and features were explained very well. The home took longer than expected to be built (5 months turned into 12 months). My yard still needs to be rolled. I also need the door from the garage to the house re-keyed to match the front and back door keys. But overall, the experience was awesome. Explanations, knowledge, communication from View Homes was great!

Because of different construction managers, the slab being pored wrong and trying to find suitable resolutions, electrical and plumbing changes in our contract requested by us that weren’t always followed and then having to be corrected and the building process was very frustrating. We were constantly pointing out problems trying to keep the building process on track. Thankfully, [name removed] was very supportive and easy to work with. Also, after [name removed] became the construction manager, we were able to communicate with him and he was able to resolve many of our concerns.

Their warranty service XXXXX s also customer care.cannot get the to respond to problems.I could write a book on the problems of the house and the number of phone calls to get the problems fixed. I think the bosses feel like if they ignore us we will shut up. Wrong, wrong, Wrong! We are seniors.

At move-in we noticed most of the Sod looked dead, and much of it has not recovered. Also, the sprinkler system doesn't function correctly, we have submitted warranty claims for both and heard nothing yet.

I liked the buyers agent weekly updates and constant communication. Everyone that I have had interaction with at Viewhomes has been exceptional at customer service. My “somewhat” satisfied review is because of two points: 1. My closing process did not go as advertised. If given an opportunity, I will explain in greater detail. 2. I was given an almost finished house. Yes, I accepted the house. [name removed] because I was satisfied, but because I had to close due to many variables causing a time crunch.

As soon as me and my husband walked into the builders office “just looking” for a home, we felt very welcomed by [name removed] and he made the entire process smooth and easy. He answered every question we had (which was a lot) and made our move in easy. Everybody throughout our First home purchase has been amazing.
