Honestly I dont like to to give bad reviews, but this time I give 0 to Armadillo homes I'm very disappointed with this Home ,I'm very sad when suppose to be happy to bought the house, why ? First walls uneven and issues on house frame , and at this time I'm still waiting for resolve the issues I appreciate if someone call me .

I have been having electrical issues without resolve. The lights in both bathrooms keep flickering. The electrical people come out and say there's nothing wrong and don't do anything. They told us to change the light bulbs. Which we did change the light bulbs but it didn't help and there is still flickering. It's like there is a short somewhere and no-one will fix it! Now they're going to replace the light fixture above the sink in the bathrooms BUT its the entire bathroom not just the fixture above the sink. Something is wrong!!!!!! Also the breaker box is too small for the house! Running the vacuum or the law mower (by them selves with nothing else on) and it will pop the breaker. The electrical "warranty" literally told me that they probably used the bare minimum to pass inspection and they wont replace it LIKE THEY SHOULD. Instead the electrical people told me to just contact them when I have issues and they will come and check it out each time even if I have to call every day. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! Once you sign the paperwork armadillo doesn't care!! Cheap labor equals shitty work! The "warranty" people also still refuse to fix the leaking gutters. Also the microwave will not suck in steam when cooking, when the microwave "warranty" guy came out he states oh ya it was installed wrong but he couldn't fix it because the vent part going out of the house was also build improperly. The wing causes crazy loud banging noises from the vent and every says there's nothing we can do. Now imagine your sitting in your quiet home and then it sounds like lightening striking a metal room over and over again?!?!? Yea that's what we have to listen to. Scares us and our kids every time!! Also the amount of effort on our end to get the tile grout fixed before closing on the house was horrible!! We had to get the CEO evolved! Parts of time would have the light gray we like and other parts would have a yellow or a dark gray, it was horrible!! There were part of the mesh showing in our master bath I had to heavily complain to also get that fixed. The glass warranty people had to replace the glass due to one of your workers scratching it right before we closed. After they replaced the glass it wasn't sealed properly so it leaked when taking a shower. I called them about it and they stated they will come out immediately, I'm still waiting and its been about 3 months now. I had to fight to get the holes in the garage patched up, where the drywall meets the cement on the walls. They literally told me it's there normal way of things BY NOT PATCHING THE HOLES!!! I still have a hole in the wall next to the steps in the garage. Also before when we built a house through maritage they left us the pain for the house for touch up when moving it, Armadillo did no such thing, Armadillo literally told us just to go buy it. Our master bath shower was installed improperly!! It was in our contract to have the shower head on the small wall like it is, But the handle was supposed to stay on the wall to the left so we could easily turn the water on. The handle is in the wrong location!!! It was clearly on the blueprints! I still have pictures of that. We had multiple "head" construction workers we dealt with. The sales men were a joke, in the design faze we had to literally ask for everything!! [name removed] did off any upgrades, only ones that I though of. Also I wanted stone but "that was not available for my house floorplan", that sucks! do better! So yea pretty much just kept getting blown off and the electrical issues still is my main problem. If my house catches on fire due to a short o something I will take legal actions for neglect! The flickering started before we closed on it and [name removed] reassured me when I signed papers it was "fixed" do to a problem with the electrical wires. But obviously its not fixed. It happens randomly. So in conclusion, No I would not recommend Armadillo to any of my family or friends. You don't care.

Didn't deliver when promised, I was given 6-7 different closing dates, they cost me money moving from different locations because they couldn't get house completed when promised from the start.

Good customer service. Worried about potential foundation issues. Painters were lacking in their care/time when painting it seems, have some chipping paint already.

The amount of time the house sitting idle and waiting for city of Cibolo inspector to come out is unacceptable. Also builder needs to update the standard feature list to accurately reflects what is actual being installed in the house. The sheet that your sale guy handed out has soft close as standard features but did not installed onto the house cabinets

Everything up to closing day was excellent. However, closing day was extremely stressful. We were eager to close and so was Armadillo, this showed in the craftsmanship of the house. We showed up on closing day to an unfinished and dirty driveway and house. The lack of attention to detail is something that maybe I had not properly communicated to my builders. Overall it is a beautiful house and we had a great experience, however, I may not purchase with Armadillo again due to the stress of closing day. Details like the caulking being sloppy in places or little trim pieces being not quite right, the landscaping around the house also seems very haphazard. The house was bought in the prime of the coronavirus problem and this may have contributed. I do not say these things asking for anything in return, as we were ready to close and I compromised on some things since I knew that asking to correct everything before closing would be unrealistic. In the end the house was cleaned and ready for closing later that day. However, that attention to detail is something that is a personal preference of mine that maybe a different company may be on the same page on with me. Love the layout of the house and the design and color options. Also, we have not received our 1 month warranty check up. Hopefully, these notes can help your company in the future and I do not mean this critique to demean or target anyone who we worked with.

I have found many details or defects in the construction, it makes me doubt because if there is such poor quality in what we can see, I can't imagine what the foundation will be like if we don't see it. - The uneven grass, with patches of old and new grass. - The garage door was uneven, I already fix it - Tube improperly installed - Air conditioning with poor flow distribution, some rooms colder than others, sometimes with 8 degrees difference between rooms - Stained driveway - Some defects in the roof that were reported in the inspection that has not been corrected - Microwave improperly installed
