Its a beautiful home and we are enjoying it. Love the floor plan. Rooms are good size and has a spacious laundry room. Home is built in a good location. Great customer service and friendly people to work with! We dislike that I informed [name removed] [name removed] homes on more than one occasion that our microwave and kitchen vent is not installed properly and blowing cold air into the house. [name removed] [name removed] homes insisted that this is the design of it, and would keep an eye on it. Nothing has been done about it as of today. The fact of the matter is, its a very poor design, it should not let cold air into our home during the colder months. Therefore I am only giving a rating of 8 instead of a 10 on this survey.

My window screens were not all placed upon closing, I did not notice this until after a month and was told that it was no longer covered in warranty. Additionally, roof had a leak with first rain of season, it was fixed promptly. One of windows interior panel broke, likely settlement. Otherwise good overall.

At the get go, there were a few things we wanted in the home that we were told were not possibilities, such as a utility sink in the garage. Some of the upgrade items had very limited information on such as Cat 5 and Smart Home equipment. The smart home lighting did not specify that it was only the entry light and not whole home. We have lived in our home for two months now and are still waiting on Smart Home upgrades to be installed or refunded.

Overall, [name removed] and [name removed] have been very helpful. I am not satisfied with the fact that we have lived here for 5 months and still do not have all of our smart home equipment. It was an $1800 upgrade. We requested a refund on the items that have not been installed [name removed] were denied that option. I had to drive to the other side of town to pick up our doorbell and have no idea when if ever the wink hub will be available.

I wasn't aware the community was part AHA association. Maybe Desert View may have said it in the past but they need to emphasize it to the customers more aggressively.

Customer care always gets right on it every time I've had to call in. My only issue is the microwave exhaust still doesn't pull up as it should. That's an inferior product issue though nothing to do with DV's great customer care.

I think the most frustrating thing is more and more homes are being built, but the warranty department takes so long to take care of the existing homes. I feel let down by the promises. But the WORST part is no one is manning the "emergency" line! When we had an emergency, not only did no one answer, the mailbox was full! This should be a warning to upper management that things are not working! They should be concerned with their product.
