[name removed] was very helpful when we looked at the model home. He answered all our questions and was always available to us. The walkthrough experience was seamless and helpful.
El Paso, on Oct 31, 2024
I liked how quickly the loan process went, i disliked how the initial orientation when we looked at the house was too fast and no real defects could be seen until after the orientation
El Paso, on Nov 18, 2024
They have been very responsive to our questions/concerns.
El Paso, TX, on Apr 14, 2024

Still having an issue with one of the rooms cooling and heating and done little to nothing to solve the issue, so bad that my child will not sleep in the room

[Translated from ES] Very good service, very attentive to customer needs
El Paso, TX, on Mar 01, 2024
Mainly disliked the quality of the work in the home. Could be a little more accurate with measurements when cutting hole and making thing leveled. But other then that it is a great home
El Paso, on Aug 19, 2024
There are some quality issues for sure. When I brought up the fact that the cabinets in the entire house were hung with two screws each, I was told that was all that was required. Funny that the model home was built with the cabinets having 4 screws each. Things like that will keep me from recommending this builder.
El Paso, on Aug 21, 2024
The process was great but the construction supervisor never deliver was promise as far a fixing things that were needing fixing. At the beginning if the construction I brought to his attention that the walls were not straight and he tried to convince me that it was to early to look at those details and that I needed to wait for the walk. At the moment of the walk he expressed that at that point was too late to fix those details that were brought to him at the early construction stage. I feel they lack attention to details and the professionalism to deliver a good quality home.
El Paso, TX, on Feb 17, 2024
The team was there ready to help with whatever I needed
El Paso, on Jun 06, 2024
I turned on the auto water system for the front landscape my water bill was 300.00. although a timer was set the water continuously dripped. I turned it off and I have reached out to the water company as I was told desert view homes can not be contacted regarding this since iw was not in the first 30 days. .
El Paso, on Jun 27, 2024
The warranty help service always prompt in their response. Second, our agent continues to help when we need him. For instance, he would call the service people in times that we cannot reach them. As far as maintenance, we have at least three times issue with water leak from the 2nd floor. Overall though, we are satisfy.
El Paso, TX, on Jan 24, 2024
Lender reps were not readily available to answer important questions, nobody ever explained to us the paperwork that they were sending and paperwork that we needed to sign, no user manual was ever given to us either, we had our initial orientation where we were told we would have another more in depth one explaining the warranties, that never happened either
El Paso, on Jun 20, 2024
I had a good experience but the warranty appointments were too far long for scheduling, also the houses for sale, I wish they can put more money into more advanced appliances such as , thermostats.
El Paso, TX, on Jan 04, 2024
I appreciated all those that helped me get to final purchase and took time to explain to me. next time I am taking notes as it is a lot of information and I don't understand. I don't know what I don't know. those in the home selling are familiar with the product agencies etc. of the home.
El Paso, on Apr 26, 2024
They did not deliver the proper paint codes, I cannot patch any paint in my house if needed, and was not able to make any changes to the the house before finished building. The tile is very uneven and the backyard was supposed to be only dirt, but it was full of rocks and trash.
El Paso, on Oct 31, 2023
So far the warranty care experience has been good but there is other stuff that needs to be fixed
El Paso, on Apr 15, 2024
The Realitor ([name removed]) was always professional and the Financial process was easy to work with. Only thing I hated was the fact that I couldn't have my white counter tops with the cabinets I wanted. Everything was pre-matched.
El Paso, TX, on Nov 02, 2023
Didn’t like that I went to the house a few times during construction and 1. It was left wide open 2. There was always trash everywhere my opinion is that if you have the buyers doing walk through’s the site should be clean.
El Paso, on Mar 29, 2024
I've had bad experiences with my customer service of my home warranty. I cannot lock my front door and have made requests and it's been almost one whole year
El Paso, TX, on Sep 11, 2023
The floors are uneven in some parts of the home. Corners where molding has stopped where not seals which makes them perfect areas for ants to dwell.
El Paso, on Oct 27, 2023
The [name removed] has been there when I needed it the most for any post purchase issues with home. Great customer service and interactions with Warrenty employees

El Paso, on Oct 27, 2023
I didn't like the fact that I needed to paint the garage myself. I just think that the whole home should be painted and just because it is the garage doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. I don't like the fact that you are not able to pick out what you want. I get it, the people in the past messed it up for everyone, but I wanted all white counter tops that was available for option. Just not the cabinets that I wanted with those counter tops. But overall, the home is beautiful, customer service is great and everything that you need assistance with is wonderful.
El Paso, on Sep 26, 2023
I have had issues with the house already but the things have been fixed in a timely manner.

El Paso, TX, on May 18, 2023
During the final close out I had difficulty with the senor [name removed] on issues. Now I must wait for the 30 day warranty service requests to be reviewed to fix these issues
El Paso, on Sep 08, 2023
Not a fan of how they crammed everyone together. A little more space would have made it feel more like a home.
El Paso, on Mar 29, 2023
Always rescheduling the appointments and not getting back on time
El Paso, TX, on May 14, 2023
We love the home very beautiful the contract was very easy
El Paso, on Aug 29, 2023
It has not even 1 year in the house and the warranty repairs are ridiculous. The staff is not very helpful and I wish the fixes at the house would actually be fixes and not just "cover ups". The irrigation system failed within 2 months being in, and warranty only covers 30 days. The landscape was very bad installed that weeds and grass are growing over it. The smoke detector in the kitchen is very bad installed were it turns on even with steam. The exhaust fan flappers are super noisy and couldn't be fixed. And now that they fixed the hairline cracks and painted them I have the walls with spots because the paint color changes and its never the same. Now that it rained my kitchen is leaking and there is always dust coming in. Every time I submit a warranty request it doesn't take 24hrs for staff to contact me. And like I mentioned previously its pointless because nothing ever gets fixed.
El Paso, TX, on Mar 20, 2023
People was very nice, just the closing date kept changing because the cabinets were not ready.
El Paso, on Jun 30, 2023
Love our Desert View home at [name removed] [name removed] the staff the builder WARRANTY DEPARTMENT IS THE BEST!
El Paso, TX, on Dec 27, 2022
The communication of the move-in date is insufficient. I was only informed the progress of the house but didn't know the closing date is set and there is no flexibility of the closing date. I felt like I was forced to sign the closing document on October 31 when the agent told me that the house won't be able to ready to move in on Nov. 1st or 2nd. My two young kids were sick and needed a lot of care on the day of October 31 and I had to work from home at the same time. I had to sign the documents that usually take one hour to review and sign in 20 minutes because I was in the middle of my work and cannot be away for more than 10 mins on that day. There were no explanation of why the closing day had to be on October 31 and why we had to rush to sign the closing document on that day. My husband is currently deployed and away from home. I am taking care of everything by myself and the lack of understanding or flexibility to sign the closing documents truly made this purchase experience the worst ever. No one was trying to find ways to accommodate my struggles on that day but just wanted me to sign the documents and be done with this transaction. The closing would have been so much smoother if we could sign the documents next day. We had been waited to have this house to be built so patiently but when we needed time and support, the closing process made me feel like "thank you for waiting. Oh, and we can't help what you need, just sign the documents." You guys have us waiting and waiting and waiting, and no proper heads up of the closing date. With two young kids and as a working mom, everything I do have be planned ahead of time. I cannot respond to last minute plan change very well due to my other responsibilities. I definitely feel that Dessert View pushing the capitalism to the finest and leaving the humanity part of the process to the least important on the list. It is very upsetting and I hope this will NOT happen to any of your clients again.

El Paso, TX, on Dec 06, 2022
