It’s not easy to make a work order. The lady who does them doesn’t seem to care too much just my opinion and it XXXXX s a single mom that has a job that works during office hours. Which is crazy as a teacher. I would have to take off and miss work and $400 to get something fixed. And that isn’t right the last work order is at 2 pm no exception. And it’s your punished for being single, having a career to pay for the mortgage, not having family in the city because you are a ex military wife restricted here. And i can’t get help with my homes real paint color I’ve tried 3 times with the information given about my home color and where to get it exactly and my walls look worse and don’t match and no one cares.

The irrigation system was broken. You need to get a better contractor to do your homes. The paint used inside house is cheap paint. I can’t wipe it without the paint coming off. finding broken tiles hidden where not visible to the naked eye. The paint on on back door already chipping off. Cheap paint not weather resistant. Cabinet door under stink not properly installed. The reason I picked this house and only thing I really like is the Farm house layout.

Over all we love our home, a couple of our problems were handled very fast and the people that came out were the best I have ever had. With that being said one of the problems was not repaired and was told was out of warranty so all costs was up to me. All salespeople in ever departments and companies were the best and I have bought a lot of homes.

It is embarrassing having family and friends over and they state how low quality the home is. I was homeless for almost 3 months, I was promised to have my house done in early August or late July. I lived with a coworker planning it to be for 2 weeks max, ended up almost 3 months, worst experience with a builder. Never will I refer, I actually did refer someone before I moved in and he experiences the same as I. I used to work construction before the Army and I know the low quality my home is in. Paid about $180,000 just to have a grudge every day I see the quality I live in. No wonder y'all need a "Great warranty team", really unhappy with my purchase.

I got the wrong house entirely. You guys hid behind a self made contract on the fine print where if the purchaser and seller and nlt happy in terms, desert view has the right to terminate the contract even if its desert views fault. I didn't select this house elevation nor any colors or other options in my home. I was pinned against the wall to accept the house i didn't choose just so i dont loose on equity i had already woukd of gained with this house or the one I originally picked. Managers responsible for this were not friendly at all to help accomodate or take ANY responsibility and only took advantage of the rough times society is facing right now that kts a sellers market and not a buyers market. This has a horrible experience.

There have been so many issues with this home it is hard to feel good about my purchase. Major issues include: Roof Leak, Plumbing not being capped off inside the walls of the home, Garbage disposal multiple issues before being fixed, Front Porch not being level causing water to run towards the home during rain (still NOT fixed), multiple electrical breaker issues.

We selected Desert View once again since we had a very good experience with our first purchase. Unfortunately, this time around has been the complete opposite. We where on contract for almost a year which we knew it was normal because of the pandemic. We monitored the house since day one and during the process we noticed a lot of problems. We notified the foreman of every issue or detailed we saw, but it always seemed that the only ones who cared where us. Every contractor that stepped into the house did what they pleased and did many things incorrect. Yes, we are humans and are not perfect , but that's why the foreman in charge of the contraction to make sure that things are done correctly. To began with the house had two major leaks that they wanted to fix with just letting it dry. The elevation of the house is the incorrect. There is a major pump on an exterior wall, and the trim paint is all dripped. The rock wall that divides the 2 houses is a mess and the refrigerated air was missing a disconnect box. Of all the outside issues we asked to be fixed since orientation only one has been fixed. The inside is another disaster. To began with , the restrooms where and are a nightmare. They had tile that was crocket and some chipped, the grout was excessive and in places it was missing. They came and fix some but the overall restroom is not what it should be. The original tile that was put in the master shower was black which is nothing near to what we selected and when we asked the installer why that color since it was not the correct one his word were," a mi me dijieron que lo hiciera asi nomas como sea". Almost every room in the house had noticeable lines in the ceiling which have been another nightmare since we have had to move our furniture all over the place to get it fixed. In the master room the lines are still noticeable but there is not much that can be done because of the wood which was installed crocket and incorrectly. The main electrical box was not properly installed and was a hazard. The light fixtures in the restrooms where all crocket. The backsplash in kitchen had the same issue with the chipped tiles which they came to replace and during the process chipped 3 more. There are a lot of other things that can be mention which would not make a difference since it still seams no one cares. As of right now we have been living in our house for a month and five days and are still waiting for things that came out on orientation to get fixed. We haven't even been able to sleep in the master or even use the master restroom. We haven't been able to fully unpacked because we continue to move thing around while they fix things. There was a lack of professionalism and negligence performed by everyone involved in the process and specially the foreman that allowed so many issue to happened due to not supervising and doing what he gets paid for. How long more is it going to take for all the things to get fixed? Just the master another 2 weeks. When doing the walkthrough we where told and promised that when we closed it was only going to be a few days for everything to get fixed. Us purchasing a new home was a dream but has become a nightmare!
