The ability to rapidly overcome challenges during the build. The pandemic put added an unexpected hurdle in some supplies but the builder did a wonderful job communicating with me. I was out of the country during my entire build, which added another of stress but the Grand Homes team really did an amazing job to ease my worries.

[name removed] is awesome, very thorough and a responsible builder. He followed through on any issues we noticed even after we moved in. He is a great asset to Grand Homes. [name removed] was great to work with during the contract execution and building period. [name removed] is a very creative designer and helped us making appropriate selections during design phase. Our referral (my brother [name removed] - a current Grand Home Owner in Sachse) has not received his referral bonus yet. Sounds like they can not locate the form we filled out on April 21, 2020. Hopefully, Grand Home will honor the promise.

We absolutely LOVED our builder, [name removed]!! He was an absolute gem!! His attention to detail and thoroughness are second to now! I struggle to find anything we disliked because every issue that arose [name removed] handled it expeditiously! He went far above and beyond what we expected. He has far exceeded what I would expect from a builder! He is always available, quickly returns your phone calls and has a remedy for every problem. I honestly don’t think our experience with Grand would be the same if he were not involved, he has made ALL the difference!

Warranty dept. has been great but they are extremely limited to what they can do. I have had huge mistakes done at my homes which were not repairable by warranty dept.

My process went very smoothly and I was satisfied with everything except Grand Homes financing department, therefore I went through my bank. However, the builder who was assigned to oversee everything was very detailed and thorough. He informed me of every step and kept me up to date when things happened. [name removed] only that, if I didn’t like something, he did his best to ensure I was satisfied.

The Builder!!! [name removed]!!!! When we first met him, he enthusiastically told us all about the community and specifically mentioned all our neighbors by name. He knew their families, their jobs, and their hobbies. And I thought "how does this guy know everyone?" Well through the course of the build I found out how. [name removed] takes his time to know the customer!! He REALLY loves Grand Homes and he wants you, the customer, to love Grand too! He is absolutely phenomenal and goes above and beyond- from the little details such as remembering your name to the big details of building the house.

They screwed up drafting my final diagrams from my selections and PSAs. Missing half of them. nearly into a year after closing too, they are yet to give my selections. Seems like I had to seek justice in the court of law.

Everybody says “don’t close until the punch list is complete because you’ll never hear from your builder after they have your money”, but [name removed] has been the complete opposite of that. He has been incredibly responsive and helpful, more than even before we closed!

This was the worst home buying experience, when i answered these questions about the home builder I am referring to Grand Homes. I was lied to on many occasions, and when I brought it to their attention they used every excuse to cut a corner and provide me a subpar resolution with very low quality products. they use very poor quality products and supplies in their high end homes, stuff you can get at Lowes off the shelves, and or from a discount site such as Amazon, very poor quality. If I didn't like their work or response they would just have their lawyer send me an email threatening me and telling me I had to accept the poor quality or loose my life savings I put up for a deposit. The superintendent who built the home ([name removed]) did everything he could within his control to build the best home within his control. He is the only reason we agreed to close on the home.

After the pool was finished, the resodding was done very shoddily. The ground was not properly prepared. The sod was laid down on top of rocks. The sod was not rolled afterwards. The sprinkler system was set up incorrectly to properly water the new sod. It wasn't even a half-!@#$% job. I'm not sure if it was even a quarter-!@#$% job.

There were many things that were done incorrectly and there were delays in our build time. The single reasons why I am rating Grand Homes at 10 now is because of [name removed]. He is the person that has taken our mediocre experience with Grand to an exceptional experience. [name removed] is so responsive and has handled every issue we have had so far very quickly and is always available to help. I think [name removed] needs to be recognized for his hard work and I would be happy to speak to his manager/supervisor as well to tell them my experience.

I have never been involved in a transaction where I have been treated the way I was treated. The lies, the deception, and threats were overwhelming. Had I not already invested my life savings in a down payment, which would have left me homeless, I would not have completed this purchase based on how I was treated.
