Overall experience from start to finish was great. One thing to improve upon is communication from Grand lending prior to final walk of the property to get a head start on loan discussion to avoid last minute run arounds.

The whole process. From a pushy sales rep to the sales rep changing and not being informed. Contract builder being changed mid of building my home. Little care to the paint job and caulking of the inside of the house. Poor quality engineered wood flooring that rusts prior to even moving. Broken tile going unnoticed. Lack of follow up. Grand home lender telling me last min that they cannot approve my loan after consistent emails and calls and passing me off to someone else (thankful that at least that person was responsive and knew what he was doing). Took forever to get my keys on move in day even though they chose the closing date and time. Home wasn’t even cleaned by the time I got my keys, cleaners were still in the home. Total disappointment esp when I’ve always dreamed of buying a grand home since I was a teenager and I went into a model home. The quality has went down tremendously.

I wish I had better experience at design center because me and [name removed] agreed on some second kitchen cabinets but those weren't added to the PSA and I thought they were but at the design center, I got know that i'll have to pay $1800 to get those cabinets. Even [name removed] told design center about it that there is miscommunication and design center girl emailed her boss but my request was denied and I ended up paying for it. Which wasn't my fault. Also, when you building new home there should be more options or suggestions for little details you could miss and it's really hard to get it done later on.

I recently purchased a new-build home through Grand Homes, and my experience with the physical home itself was very positive. The process from contract to move-in was smooth, and I appreciated the transparency and professionalism of the builders. The home’s quality met my expectations, and I felt that Grand Homes handled the construction and design process well. However, a major issue in my experience was the financial aspect, particularly dealing with the lenders during the closing process. The communication was unclear, and at times, conversations felt unprofessional and even rude. This made what should have been an exciting time unnecessarily stressful. Unfortunately, this negative experience with the lenders overshadowed an otherwise smooth home-buying journey. I would recommend Grand Homes for their quality and transparency in the building process, but I would advise future buyers to be cautious and prepared when dealing with the financial side of the purchase.

disliked selecting all internal upgrades in a single day and being pressured to commit quickly. Dislike no flexibility in making changes past the design center date. We trusted some verbal commitments or statements from Grand employees that turned out to be inaccurate. The positive thing has been the assistance we have received with defects we have found since closing. [name removed] has been great (though he was not our builder) if we have concerns with contractors at other building sites and [name removed] has been wonderful to work with post close which is the main reason for the overall scores of 8 instead of a much lower score given how disappointed we were in many of the errors and mistakes before closing.

Everything was great. Although I was a little disappointed in [name removed] not returning phone calls or texts. He seemed very attentive initially, but after a few phone calls and texts he disappeared. On the other hand [name removed] was GREAT! Super attentive and professional.

This experience was amazing! This is my 4th new construction and this was my best experience by a LONG SHOT. MK, [name removed], and [name removed] were/are exceptional. [name removed] was a huge blessing to me as he truly cares and is passionate about getting the job done right. Still til this day [name removed] remains a valuable resource for anything needed regarding the home if I was to have any questions, I am truly thankful for him. [name removed] is great to work with. Very quick to respond and get things taken care of. After [name removed] handed me off to [name removed], [name removed] has continued my great experience with Grand. Grand Homes comes second to none!

Poor quality construction materials used for house over $1M. Garage can't even fit a normal car, which is ridiculous. Grand Homes never share exact measurements upfront.

The initial purchase decision was well handled. But the loan process, rate lock and closing was very mishandled due miscommunication between the loan officer and the grand homes office staff because of which I had to go through the process of paying penalty of rate lock vs choosing the worse rate, extension of closing and several very anxious calls and meetings with the team to bring them together. [name removed] and [name removed] were helpful and patient with the process. I just wished that the mortgage side and the grand home side would have worked together to avoid the unnecessary complication that arouse with closing and mortgage. The hands on maintenance and construction team namely [name removed] has been very helpful at each and every step, very prompt, responsive and present with fixing every mechanical and structural issues. It has been a great relief to have such kind of support from grand homes for the initial move in. Thank you !
