I loved how Ms [name removed], our sales lady made us feel comfortable and she was very knowledgeable and walked us through the process seamlessly. She bridged the gap and relationship to a great working relationship with our builder [name removed] at the time. When [name removed] left it was very difficult but she was able to bridge the gap for our new builder [name removed] and also [name removed] helped as well.

Team does not follow back up and consistently changes their mind on previously-promised items and tasks. Things go for months unaddressed and the building quality is extremely poor. Less than a year into our home, we've had to reach out to Grand Home at least 20+times to address issues around the house.

Warranty service was timely, efficient and effective. I like the responsiveness and clear explanation of the work being performed or recommended.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the ongoing issues and the inadequate response from your warranty department regarding our home. The lack of effective communication and the poor quality of repairs have left my family and me feeling frustrated and neglected. Since the beginning, there has been a significant lack of communication regarding the status of our repairs. Basic customer service principles, such as timely follow-up and proactive updates, have been consistently absent. It is disheartening that I find myself constantly initiating contact to inquire about the progress of our issues. Moreover, the coordination between your warranty department and the repair contractors has been subpar. We have experienced instances where technicians arrive unprepared, unaware of the required tasks, resulting in incomplete and inadequate repairs. This has left us with ongoing issues that remain unresolved or only partially addressed. Our dissatisfaction extends to the overall quality of craftsmanship evident throughout our home. Since day one, we have encountered numerous defects that have yet to be adequately addressed: The trim over the small garage exhibits a significant gap that I can fit my hand into. The explanation provided by [name removed] regarding this gap being for humidity control is both unsatisfactory and perplexing. The stairs, touted as a distinguishing feature of Grand Homes, are deformed with an egg shape and wiggly rails, a far cry from the quality we expected. The French doors in our entrance have repeatedly received superficial fixes where technicians simply unscrew and re-screw the doors, despite our insistence on proper replacement due to visible damage and poor initial installation. Various areas throughout our home, including the children's retreat and living room closet, continue to exhibit uneven walls and unfinished edges, issues we have highlighted from the start. Water damage to cabinets in the second-floor bathroom, stemming from a construction-related flood, has yet to be properly addressed. Illogical placements, such as mid-wall internet connections, demonstrate a lack of foresight in design and functionality. Specific promises made by your representative [name removed] regarding trim replacements and window repairs have gone unfulfilled or only partially addressed. It is crucial to note that we are not willing to prolong these issues until the end of the year. We expect urgent attention and a clear timeline for resolving all outstanding matters promptly. I am compelled to inquire whether your CEO is aware of the persistent issues we have faced since January 24, 2024. The disparity between the expectations set and the reality of our experiences demands immediate attention and resolution. I trust that you will take immediate and comprehensive action to rectify these longstanding issues and restore our confidence in the quality and service of Grand Homes.

Our sales person [name removed] was amazing from the beginning! She was so friendly, extremely helpful and quick to respond to all our questions. She went above and beyond to help us create a beautiful home. Our builder [name removed] was equally amazing! We haven't seen a builder work so hard and late and with so much dedication towards a project! He was quick to respond to any of our questions and requests and went above and beyond to make sure our home was completed as quickly as possible.

I liked the varieties of home plans they offer, what I don’t like is the quality of what they put in the house the woods in particular. I understand foundation moves but this is outrageous. Ally of minor errors ont he house while building makes it looks like they were in a rush to finish. Over all, I am not really satisfied as for who they send out I am very satisfied with [name removed] with warranty trying to check up on how things are going from time to time.

Everything is great specially with respect to communication from our Builder [name removed] on a time to time basis. However, we wish few were told upfront during design. For example: We were never told during design that we need to pay for outlet that support large appliance like refrigerators. We would have happily paid the money at the design. Many times we discussed about having fridge in Garage but never once we were told that outlet provided in garage doesn't support it. This has nothing to do with quality of construction, however it is important to get to these details with homeowners during design appointments.

I have shared this in multiple forums / GH teams. Once I signed the contract; I was promised a few corrections which needed a lot of follow up with the sales team. In fact, the way the house was handed over could have been better… I see the other houses decorated during the handover and even pictures taken by GH which the sales team confirmed but never honored… Even warranty was trying cover themselves and I could sense that the message was, get whatever u need from the builder and if there’s an issue, I can’t help u… except for customizations which GH charges us anyways, there’s nothing special about GH for the price we pay… my friends buy houses with [name removed] and Toll and [name removed] and got far superior customer service when I compare to what I received.

My home is leaking. How can someone move into a new home and find out that his new home is leaking from the roof? They have come to open up the chimney, and it is still leaking. I mean, at [name removed] Waterway Drive, Rowlett, Texas 75088, something needs to be done.
