I disliked how messy the workers were. We would come over during the build process and find left over food thrown in the window seats and floor. Flies were everywhere. I did not like that the landscape company did not turn on the sprinklers when they laid our grass. I did not like the grass that was laid. I have asked for our grass to be replaced. The grass looks horrible in the backyard.

Mislead about the neighborhood (primarily H1B fraud), which bleeds into quality of work, overpriced upgrades that aren’t even upgrades and the speed and timing falls back into point #1. Would love a rebate. Should have been honest from the start regarding the neighborhood and the over priced homes based on the Indian population. Grand Homes needs to go a long way in repairing the damage it has caused me and my family!

The garage is too small for something call grand . Back yard is small . The overall home is smaller compared to some builders . No code locks which is a disappointment for the price of the home

I liked that the builder [name removed] was very responsive and listened to what I was asking. He sent me picture updates of the progress on our house since we lived out of state.

What We Liked: Overall, the purchasing experience was smooth and positive. Working with the post-closing warranty team has been great; they have been highly responsive and have coordinated everything as needed. What we have struggled with: Post-Move-In Issues Flooring: We experienced a few major issues shortly after moving in. A dishwasher leak caused significant damage to the flooring and cabinets. While the plumbing and cabinet repairs were handled well, the flooring repair is still pending after multiple appointments. Landscaping: The yard work was poorly executed. There are patches of stones throughout, exposed drip lines over the lawn, and the ground was not properly cleaned and leveled before the sod was installed. The quality difference is very noticeable when compared to Windsor. HVAC: As soon as summer started, we faced high humidity issues and discovered that the refrigerant was undercharged.

Our bathroom tiles came out pretty bad with high variations that was not expected. Grand Home didn't help to change it which was very unfortunate. Also, we were denied multiple time for small change requests where as grand home changed our selection 2-3 times (bathtub, laminate floor, etc) due to unavailability.

The poor craftsmanship in the cabinets and stairs has been subpar. We trusted these would be done with a great finish and unfortunately the cabinets have running paint, bubbles, disclaimed joinery, and the stairs were also stained prior to prepping them, leaving nail holes, nicks and a poor finish. There is also paint on our bricks from the garage color, door trim and other areas where it was done poorly. The warranty has been the best experience. [name removed] has been very responsive and diligent with the upcoming issues. And [name removed] from warranty has also been a gem. She’s phenomenal. Friendly, very responsible and personable.

I like how the warranty representative works with Us to resolve the issue arises I hope they will continue to address the issues timely [name removed] is really a great guy . Very professional. I am glad he is handling our case

I liked the builder and warranty process. I did not like that you cannot change anything structurally and we felt kind of rushed to get under contract.

The process leading up to the acquisition of the home was disappointing. A lot of promises that get you to the table that were never fulfilled. Just to get you to sign on the dotted line. The business practices of the sales and mortgage group was very deceitful l. The builders were very attentive so that you can close on time for their quota. The only saving grace that Grand Homes had was the warranty dept specifically [name removed]. He was always attentive and made sure we were satisfied with whatever resolutions we needed. Only the warranty department cared for the customer.

I think for the price of the home I was expecting the room and closets to be a little bigger. I was really hoping this would be our forever home but the space isn’t big enough. I have excellent service from [name removed] in warranty and [name removed] as my builder and [name removed] as our sales person.
