Several defects surfaced after we occupied the home, Contractor ms [name removed] and Mr [name removed] were very helpful, warrenty department is slow, took severalmonths to repaint peeled cabinets. We are really did not expect this. Font yard tree replaced with poor quality tree, sheet rock work is poor there are multiple bumps.

There are so many flaws in this house, internet company was not able to give us service due to big flaw with wiring inside the wall and now we have to get it from outside, there was leakage in bathrooms, water drainage problem in master bedroom, cracks in walls, paint damage on several walls, wooden sitting area on windows have nails popping out from base, stove top one burner not working, ac in one of the rooms is not working, shower door doesn’t close all the way in master bedroom and many more problems!!!! Not happy at all !!!!

The structural modifications process with the salesperson encountered several challenges. The contract was signed within a day following a discussion with the salesperson to create a mockup. Unfortunately, I later discovered that any alterations were prohibited after this initial meeting with the salesperson, who lacked expertise in structural design. Despite my desire for standing showers in three bathrooms, this feature was not incorporated into the final design. Upon reaching out 2 days later, I was informed that changes were not permissible once the contract had been signed. Despite numerous attempts, the salesperson consistently conveyed the same message, citing disapproval from the manager. Consequently, I find myself in a predicament where three bathrooms are undergoing renovation immediately after the house closing, to transition from tubs to standing showers, which turned out to be a disaster. Furthermore, one of the rooms is burdened with unusable space due to an issue with the closet design. Additionally, my request for a single door for the master bath, demonstrated to the salesperson using an example from another house in the community, was not accommodated. A critical aspect missing from the process was a window of a couple of days post-contract signing, during which I could have engaged with the builder or someone knowledgeable about design to finalize the modifications initially mocked up by the salesperson.

Everyone was great and so knowledgeable. [name removed] our builder however made our experience the best! He was so knowledgeable and guided us through the whole thing so easily. Really made buying a home for the 1st time so easy. Our home turned out better than we’d even imagined thanks to him.

Everything went really well in terms of communication and flexibility as building a home and trying to stay ahead of everything is a very difficult task. Like which plug should go where and things like that. However, [name removed] and [name removed] did an excellent job being flexible and mapping everything out properly. I really enjoyed working with them. One aspect of the buying experience I didn’t really enjoy was the design center. There was complete miscommunication in many aspects of the design center and it just seemed like they didn’t understand what was standard in this community vs what’s an upgrade and that really took away from my time. Also, taking time to pick tiles and colors in one session and then coming back the next one to see that they aren’t available anymore without any extra added time is frustrating. However, with proper guidance and cooperation it was easy to get everything done.

This new home has multiple ongoing problems. 1. There are wide openings in sheetrock, so bugs were entering home. ( [name removed] home repaired yesterday). 2. Painting work on kitchen counter and bar cabinets is very poor. Paint is coming out as layers. 3. With in 4 months we noticed cracked drive way and improper concrete filling work under the driveway. 4. Window screen damaged but still replacement not done. 5.Multiple staircase steps defects showed to warranty manager. Still waiting for repairs. 6. Uneven sheetrock work noticed. Which displays bumpy surface. We are surprised to see sk many defects in new home. That too Grand Homes, which has good reputation. How ever contractor Mr [name removed] and warranty managers Mr [name removed], and Mr [name removed] are responding promptly but delays in repairing still going on.

The best part was the construction. Although the start was a bit disappointing with Grand Homes literally forcing us to do a brick selection, once it came to [name removed] and [name removed], everything turned around. They were so good and accommodating that it erased all the bad memories. Their attention to details was unmatched and they took care of all the concerns. Finally, I got a highest quality house.

I enjoyed the whole process from beginning to end. Working with the sales rep, design rep, builder, and VP of construction the whole experience had it's ups and downs but over all GH was able to satisfy me through the move in process with anything I needed. Great overall experience!

What we like: Builder [name removed] - [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] - This team is highly professional, worked with us closely on each phase of home, gave weekly updates and addressed our concerns were addressed up to our satisfaction and answered all our new home owner questions. They were approachable and available for any assistance we needed even after we moved in. Very committed to high quality deliverables well ahead of schedule and highly recommend them to future homeowners. What we dislike : [name removed] Homes Sales [name removed]: There was NO Sales Associate were assigned after existing Sales associate left [name removed] Homes. There was no handover done and all our communications and personal notes about installing trinkets were trashed. We escalated to regional manager regarding the issue, but was never taken serious about it, absolutely no communication from them or any scheduled calls. All we got was one email about closure date(without copying all the buyer names- sent email only to one of the buyer). They simply never bothered to talk to buyers after contract is signed and got their money, will talk to us only during closing. We are buyers who lived out of Texas (New Jersey), when we come in person as well, no sales team available to address our questions or our lenders questions. Even during closing, though we fixed closing date and time well ahead, there were so much confusions till last minute and closing co-ordinator went on leave and she was co-ordinating with [name removed] Homes [name removed] company. Person at [name removed] company also talked very rude way and said closing not possible. FYI: We went with [name removed] Homes recommended lender and title company, still there were so much of tensions built up.

I was pleased with the build process. Move in was a little rushed as the original commitment date was end of November and it was pushed back to end of December. We had sold our house and would have been homeless if the build completion had not bee rushed. We had to sign off on the build with quite a few contingencies.

A few things during the selection process at the showroom did not go as well as we would have wanted themwe were told a few things at the design center that when we got to the actual home being built were not correct or the information was in sufficient overall, [name removed] and [name removed] did an incredible job, we have no complaints there. It was more around the [name removed] center and things that were told to us that were not accurate.

you guys are calling your self as a luxury builder. but in reality I don’t see that anywhere in terms of material that you used for cabinets or the plumbing. The plumbing material is very very cheap. Or the basic things that came along with the house. No proper communication about the loan process.

I didn't like my sales experience as well as my experience at designer studio which made me really unsatisfied as well as unhappy but [name removed] [name removed] are lucky to have [name removed] and [name removed] in there team because they both care about their customers and customer satisfaction, they go above and beyond to save company's reputation. If I had the option of 100 points instead of 10 I would still have looked for more points as they are Gems and Pride to [name removed] [name removed].
