I like my builder the people that worked with me. What I didn’t like was how everything have a cost. Some things should’ve been an upgrade.

I love the finishing of the home. The lawn is very bad. its not growing equally you cannot park cars in the garage. the entrance is too small for cars to go in. you have to close the 2 mirrors to be able to enter the garage the tree planted is growing epileptically the light chandelier is of low quality

The builders did great. They communicated accordingly. The design we chose has an open shower for the master bedroom shower which we did not know about until after we had completed the design selection. Spending on window blinds after purchase is not desirable. Hot water was not working when we moved in due to bad GCFI connected to it which was not fixed until after several calls and some days after we moved in. The material used for door knobs was below expectation. Several door knobs kept becoming loose that I had to re-screw and it is still happening.

It has been from one issue to the other with my home , poorly built from my garage leaking to my backyard flood , cracking walls it's been a mess and disappointing , the worst part is you have to call and call for anyone to attend to your issues , it has nothing to do with the warranty guy but everything to do with grandhomes. So it's going to be a no for me . My experience has been terrible

He is responsive, and thoroughly explains the “why” and coordinates appointments as needed in an expeditious manner. Thank you Stacy for all you do. The warranty service was prompt and handled professionally. However, the customer service by Buzzy and Austin was terrible. James, Stacey, Patrick, and Anita were wonderful, they saved the sale of this home.

A costly mistake was made in the interior of my home. Also the hardware on the door and of poor quality. Over half of them has come off In less than a year of living in the house. The ones that haven’t come off are shaky and non functional.

Austin and Buzzy are liars and very unprofessional. This was a terrible home buying experience. Anita and Patrick were awesome and need a raise in pay. They kept me from suing Grand Homes with there professionalism.

Purchase experience was going well until the moment we needed to do an appraisal. The home was under appraised and that caused a few delays due to the back and forth. Also, being that the house was already being built and was dropped by the previous contract, we were unable to customize as we wanted to.

The wrong color windows was installed. No one ever returns phone calls. Matt Barrett was very difficult to communicate with, he never returned any phone calls after giving me his number and ensuring he would be the person to oversee my build after the original builder was reassigned to another community. Additionally, there were punch items that were not completed until over a month after closing and the still were not properly completed. Specifically, the mortar on the porch was chipping away from the brick and when someone finally arrived to correct it, it was the wrong color. Paint is chipping in the bathroom and sheet rock has fallen from the ceiling. Water does not drain properly in the master bathroom shower. On a brighter note, Stacey in the warranty division has been very attentive and the most helpful person in the entire company.

The ales person was totally unreliable nothing but sweet talks and never follow up on any issue we bring to his attention. We didn’t not receive consistent weekly communications from the original builder assigned to us but this improved later on when [name removed] was assigned. [name removed] was phenomenal
