The subcontractors used are not using quality materials or double checking their work. The Brewer Flooring have been AWFUL to work with. They do not respond to calls and have dragged out repairing our wooden floors to almost two months now and still have NOT fixed ANY of the issues. We have bought multiple new homes and never had these experiences. Moved in and a week later the plumbing backed up inside of the house because the men who built the house threw a rag into the system and broke off plastic. Makes me wonder how this house will last if these are the problems within the first 6 months! The igniter cable for the fireplace was completely broken off. They didn’t replace it. Just rigged it in place. I’m worried about a fire being caused by it or electrical shock! But nope, the subcontractors just want a quick and easy fix to their crappy quality work. First home we bought that didn’t have a welcome gift waiting on the kitchen counter like tumblers and coffee. I would not ever recommend Ideal Homes to any family or friend or for my next home purchase. In fact I would tell them the warranties are lies and the subcontractors make Ideal Homes look really bad but at the end of the day Ideal Homes chose these companies.
