No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Liked: The ease of purchase, the bonus for signing with your lender, and the promise of quality with a warranty. Disliked: the plumbing issue, and the downspout was supposed to be replaced before we moved in, then it was supposed to be replaced on 7/17 and it wasn't. We have had to make several follow-up calls on multiple items.

I wasn’t happy that my builder was changed. I still got emails from original builder, but he’s not who had my keys at the end, so I don’t think he finished. I’m not happy I couldn’t get shelves built like I did on my first build with ideal. I’m not happy where one of my light turn on switch is.

I like that they are a [name removed] based company and not afraid to show it. I like that everyone we delt with seemed to genuinely care about keeping us informed and happy. Loved the bible given with the personal note from owner's wife.

worked great with mark. most problems were taken care of.some problems rae still an issue. completely dissatified with the sod that we got|/// absolutely full of weeds//// bad job of laying it, out of the 3 homes we have bought from Ideal / we love the view/, the house is what we wanted.
