The paint is awful. The banister is poorly constructed. The floors are uneven and badly framed in several spots

Finish work is terrible, so sloppy! Caulking looks like it was done by a third grader with no experience (Missing around two of the toilets with cement still exposed), drywall is full of blemishes and bad lines, flooring had residual glue that I've been cleaning for 6 months and counting, cement work in garage and driveway terrible (cracks all over, random pieces of "dropped" cement scrap dried and blemished on the surface), sidewalks are off line and drain the wrong way causing water to puddle instead of drain to street. City says its the builder, builder says its the HOA - no one responds and the sidewalks are cracked and chipping... and the landscape drainage is a disaster!!! A MASSIVE disaster. That is only the things that still persist! I've had warranty claims addressed for; - Improper door hanging, crooked and hits the frame. - missing fan. - Powder room toilet rocking, had to be shimmed up. - main archway not rounded and was square on one side while round on the other. Still not right. - AC unit was improperly vented causing excessive leaking from secondary overflow line. - Foundation framing left behind at front door, had to have dug out and removed. - Circuit breakers that kept tripping (replaced) - GFI breaker plug on oven would not stay on, literally had the electrician blame the appliance, the appliance repairman blame the electrician all to find out that "the code" says it had to be a GFI breaker because it is within 8 feet of water. The breaker had to be replaced with a "non-GFI" breaker at my approval. The oven would never have worked with the way it was installed. The electrician after coming back again to replace it says he has replaced numerous breakers in this neighborhood for the same issue. - Sprinkler heads installed in back yard were wrong (according to landscape techs who came out) they replaced them. Grass was dying due to no water. - Yard flooding due to sprinkler leak next door (pipe not secure, constant running water escaping), fixed by landscape techs who came out at same time. Landscape tech said this was the 29th home (yes that's right 29) that he had to fix for the same issue in our neighborhood that month (July 2022) due to poor installation.

They said the flood in my yard would be fixed it’s not. No one’s is. My floor keeps coming up and my foundation has moisture cracks all over it

Extremely poor craftsmanship, refusal to QC contractor work and worst of all I get the run around on issues my home has
Bryan, TX, on Dec 12, 2022
I thought they should have allowed more options which I was willing to pay for

That warranty requests are viewed as "cosmetic, 1 time only fix"

Purchasing a new home from overseas was very stressful. However, [name removed] the Legend Agent made the process very painless. We were looking at other Legend properties based on listed completion dates, but after multiple virtual tours [name removed] explained that the actual completion dates for those homes wouldn't be ready in time for our move to [name removed]. [name removed] informed us that they had a property that was about to go back on the market after the original purchaser backed out. [name removed] explained the open house was scheduled for that Saturday and Sunday. After virtually viewing the property [name removed] recommended that if we were interested we should place the earnest money down as soon as possible because it was unlikely the house would be available on the following Monday. We took [name removed]'s advice and placed the earnest money, and everything fell into place to meet our schedule. [name removed] was very thorough during our initial and final walk throughs. He answered all of our questions. [name removed] provided our warranty details, and was very quick to respond when we had an electrical issue with our range. [name removed] had the issue repaired the following morning. It was a pleasure to work with the [name removed] and Legend team ([name removed] and [name removed]).

I just feel corners where cut and the build is rushed. I know you get flaws but this house had many flaws from the contractors that built the home. Legend Homes has agreed to fix almost all issues if I spoke about my concerns. It’s usually a flip between warranty and the actual builders on who fixes what, seems like this year in 2022 has been a little harder to get work accomplished. If I had one major complaint it would be that my garage is the only one that I’ve seen or even heard of that cracked from the front to the back and was told nothing could be done, that it’s normal shrinkage. I’ve seen base flooring on second floor only have about 1/4” of thickness in spots. I just thought there would be more pride in their product than what is shown.
Bryan, on Feb 22, 2022
I can’t contact anyone to get my warranty. I need help with this. Also I need the numbers for the builder.
Bryan, TX, on Oct 11, 2022
There was not anything I really disliked. The builders and staff were always available when I had questions and made the whole process easy as ever especially for this being my first time ever purchasing a home, to include purchasing by myself. I enjoyed everything.
Bryan, on Apr 03, 2022
The structure and inside is great. The back and side yard leveling/drainage is terrible. Zero effort put into making it habitable or drain worthy. Just threw grass on top and called it good. [name removed] walkable or useable. Very hard to maintain. Drainage on side yards ridiculous. Solution: Just turn off sprinklers.
Bryan, TX, on Oct 09, 2022
My home has many aesthetic issues. My granite countertop was not placed properly on top of the cabinets, leaving it crooked. The metal plates on the door jams were placed haphazardly, as well. the caulking along the base boards extended to far onto the flooring. I have suffered a plumbing leak already. My garage flooring has a crack in it, and the driveway cement was not smoothed out, leaving it very rough in texture. Overall, I feel like many key design elements in this home were overlooked and should not have been signed off on by the area superintendent. I am displeased, but trying to cope with the many issues that I continue to find in this house that I am struggling to make home due to the aforementioned issues.

I like that they will fix certain things. The problem sometimes is how long it takes. Overall, all is well.

Like the swift attention when we had an issue with the AC and with the garage door, very professional and handled in a timely manner. Dislike HOA choice,
Bryan, TX, on Oct 06, 2022
Poor social skills of the Legend [name removed], once money paid down she stop being in reach. And the superintendent was a failure.

[name removed] and [name removed] in the warranty area were both very helpful and knowledgeable during two separate occasions that we needed help. Fast response
Bryan, TX, on Sep 13, 2022
We’ve had nothing but drainage problems since we moved in. They have done nothing. For the amount of money you spend they use the cheapest paint. If you buy their homes expect to get the run around and when they do fix it then it’s halfway.
Bryan, on Oct 15, 2021
Timely response by warranty department, would call to confirm satisfaction of the case. Relatively easy claims process. Had a few issues that were resolved properly and timely. [name removed] a complaint on the warranty service team, however this development needs serious help/repairs with yard water drainage and proper grading of water. Many, many neighbors who talk to each other all have standing water and mud in their back yard!!!
Bryan, TX, on Aug 21, 2022
[name removed] at the office made my purchase of my Legends home smooth as she was there to answer all my questions that I had! she went above and beyond.

Bryan, TX, on Apr 25, 2022
Erica did a great job working with everything that we needed to do. I wasn't happy with the mortgage lender or title company. The process just seemed to drag on forever and with so many people involved, it seemed like no one was ever on the same page.

Heating and A/c electric outlets and breakers keep tripping also no cable jacks in the bedrooms
Bryan, TX, on Dec 14, 2021
I had some missteps which came from me. Other than that, It was a wonderful experience
Bryan, TX, on Dec 04, 2021
Too numerous to mention. Here are just a few. I had to call for heat to be fixed first day of move in. My family used a space heater to keep warm. A certain spot upstairs creaks already. Paint cracks visible on Attic ladder. Upstair gets so hot while downstairs is not warm enough during a winter night. I didn't paint touchup samples that was discussed during first/final walk
