The workmanship throughout the house is our overall dislike. Many repairs were needed. It seem to take a very long time to get those repairs done. When they were done, some of them had to be redone because they were still not done correctly.

Like the whole walkthrough experience and looking thru the future homes i dislike the lender that got us the home because her communication skills were very much off and attentiveness towards us clients

From day 1 we were lied to by our sales rep, he was very pushy. We were NEVER told about half our neighborhood being rental properties which is turning into a nightmare because they are so trashy, yet no one can or tell them to clean up their yards ect! We are finding that there are so many issues with our home and its structure along with multiple neighbors being just as dissatisfied. We have all agreed that when we see new potential homeowners we WILL chime in and let them know in front of their realtors and or sales rep to let them know that they aren't being told all the facts. We've reached out to our realtors (us and other residents/homeowners) to let them know of our disappointments and DONT recommend showing these houses to anyone else. Warranty is ridiculous to deal with and almost NEVER respond. Our c.m. has been the only good thing that has come from our experience here. He steps up a lot to help when we aren't getting answers and hears us vent a lot about our hatred for the home and plan on selling as soon as we can. Our whole neighborhood FB page has turned into a HATRED for LEGEND HOMES.

At this momemts I'm unhappy with the service provided to me when it comes to items needing to be fixed and corrected. There is alot of Yes [name removed]'am, No Maam, but minimal resolution to my concerns. There is no follow up communication with out me reaching out first after initial contact has been made regarding concerns with my home. The staff are nice, the service is not. No one seems to be punctual in making sure me as a client is satisfied. I'm continuing to spend money while issues in my home are not being addressed timely. There was a lot of bandaiding broken items instead of fixing it. This was not a great experience for me as it should ha e been.

The fact that our salesperson was non-existent for the most part after signing the contract. Items on the initial walkthrough we're not corrected and we felt that we had to sign off on items being corrected when they weren't so that we could close on time. Our final walk was 1 August and we were closing 3 August. Keys were unable to be found on move-in day. We were told keys could be picked up at the model.home in Blue Ridge by the title company, but no one at the model home knew where they were or bothered to help us. Legend CM was the only person willing to get some resolution. President of Construction didn't want to help with the issue. Multiple repairs needed to be done after move-in. We.have never received a phone call from anyone at Legend Homes expressing any type of apology or concern.

We have had problems with everything since the day we moved in. Flooring, windows, siding, brick, mortar, paint, texture, carpet, trim, fencing, shutters and more. This experience has overall been a nightmare and we are dissatisfied with the entire home. Overall the attention to detail and fit and finishes are extremely poor. We were lied to about numerous things with the home. The final walkthrough to tape areas of concern and items that need fixed never happened. The few repairs that we have been able to get done have been done sloppily and cause more ever more issues. Our shutter feel off our house on top of me during the first days of us moving in. We haven’t been able to put curtains up because the windows and walls need to be fixed. Our garage door was the wrong door and was installed correctly. We haven’t been able to unpack anything and have been living out of boxes because so much work needs done. Our items had to be left in the driveway to clear room to have our new garage door installed which resulted in thousands of dollars of items getting stolen. If we knew our experience would be like this buying our first new home we never would have purchased it.

From beginning Cesario Gutierrez was pushy and ill experienced with the quality of the home, he even offered MY realtor 5K bonus if she pushed/rushed my wife and I to close before the end of physical year. He never really followed up only through a few texts or videos of the build. Never created a steady streamline of communication with us and our C.M. William. He had to created his own line of communication with us and our realtor. He was thorough and consistently kept us updated with our build and was by far the highlight of our build. It went without question that William took a lot of pride in his work and my wife and realtor took notice of that. His ethics where that of an individual who had not been jaded through success! And even after us moving in nearly 2 months ago, he still reaches out and makes himself available to us regularly. We've yet to even get a good afternoon or follow up from Cesario to see how or if we've even settled in. I've mentioned this to others in search of housing, the house sold itself and knowing we had a C.M William who took pride in his work helped us with closing the deal and all you have to do is see past the sales rep.

Starting out everything seemed great. Contract and purchase was smooth. Final Walkthrough was ok, I guess. Looking back, we honestly should not have signed off on the house the time we did. It was not ready. But as first time home owners, we were very excited so we did. We closed on 10/28/22. The following weekend we started moving stuff in, little by little. On 11/5/22, My sister and I walked into the house and dropped of boxes upstairs. On 11/6/22, was the day we planned on moving in. I walked into the house at 9:30 AM and it was FLOODED! Immediately I called [name removed] and [name removed] explaining to them what I just walked into. Thankfully in less than 30-minutes my family and some friends showed up to remove water from the house. Since we were waiting on [name removed] and the Plumbers, we weren't going to just allow the water to sit there to cause more damage. Plumbers (GHP) could not find and issue and started putting the blame on us, that we left a sink on. Same day, [name removed] came and installed the dehumidifiers and fans. I requested a hydrostatic test per the advice of my realtor, [name removed]. On 11/7/22, I was told to my face a leak was verified. How they verified it? The small reddish triangle on the water gauges outside in the front yard moves. On 11/9/22, [name removed] came to remove the equipment. All was well. Then GHP showed up to do the "hydrostatic" test, or so I thought. GHP used small water gauges to test the pressure. Told me it was the hydrostatic test. Well, I did my research, what they did was not the hydrostatic test. There were small things that have bothered us a long the way, little things really like, bringing us lightbulbs for the lights that were missing them. We just ended up buy them ourselves. I guess the reason it bothered us that we had to buy them was because something so simple shouldn't take so long, ya it's just a lightbulb but it's not something we should have had to buy right away. Anyways, on 12/7/2022, contracting and the ACM met us at the house and we went over some things and the ACM noticed other places of the house that are out of spec. Which were handwritten on the warranty sheet. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, especially with it being out first. We wish we could say we enjoyed out first home but due to the minor issues still not fixed, it's hard because we just want to do it ourselves but why should we? Its hard to decipher what I like vs dislike from contract to move-in because it was such an overwhelming and stressful time because of what happened. Although [name removed] has been good, he is super friendly and has good customer service and always helps us answer questions when we ask but being at the disposal of other companies' timelines or stock issues have made things stressful for him and us too.
