I disliked the quality of the materials and the installation of the materials in this home. I have had a repair person at my home at least once a month since we moved in last March. The workmanship in this home is shoddy and sloppy. The trim over the garage door was growing little plants in it. The piece of wood used for the trim was all dented. The wood trim under the front porch overhang had a big piece out of it and had to be replaced. We have electrical outlets that didn't work. We had 4 windows that were not installed properly and were drafty. One was actually crooked. When the repair person came to fix the first window, he left a hole in the drywall and installed our alarm sensor over it. We could not set our alarm because any wind on the window would set it off. That required a second visit to correct. The three windows that were corrected in the past week had to be shimmed. Instead of shimming like the first window was, the technician scrapped the whole inside of the window frame and hammered nails into the side of the frame and cracked the drywall next to the three windows. I now have to wait for another technician to come out to repair the drywall. We had to have laminate replaced because it was coming up and one piece was laid over debris and it was pushing through the laminate. The wall in one of the bathrooms had a big crack in the drywall that had to be repaired. The knockdown that was applied to the walls was not troweled properly and there are areas that are not smooth and need to be sanded. Some holes were left in the knockdown. The caulking is very messy around the baseboards. The door frames have gouges in them. When the closet doors were painted they were closed before the paint was dry and that peeled the paint off of the doors. The cabinets in the kitchen and the master bathroom had cracks on the face of them. One of the repairs was so bad I had them remove the face and come back with a new one. I have been in other neighbors homes. They had a back door with a window blind insert. Our home had a "make-do" window blind attached to the door. The grates over the air conditioner intakes in the ceiling don't latch properly and keep falling open. I had the air conditioning company try to fix them but they grates are so cheap that they won't stay closed. Our lawn was so over run with weeds that I'm still fighting them. The lawn did not have any attention given to it prior to our purchase. Our fence was installed incorrectly. It would scrape the house every time the wind blew. That had to be replaced. The closet in the third bedroom could not have anything hung in it because the closet was installed to narrow and hangers would not fir on the closet clothes pole. We had to have shelves placed in the closet to be able to use it. We did not receive any of the instruction booklets for our appliances or our Rainbird system. We did not receive the thumb drive that other homeowners said they received when they closed on their home. I had to ask for the information and was told by one of the former supervisors for our development to write down the information as he gave it to me on one of the repair visits. I have wasted 60+ hours of my time waiting on repair people in the past year and I still have to wait for additional repairs.

Pros: The walk-through was great, everyone was nice, everyone worked hard to make us comfortable, and willing to work with us on a short schedule. [name removed] specifically made us feel welcome and that we could rely on him. [name removed] also helped make getting our things into the house early possible which was a big stressor. Cons: The deal almost didn't go through, because we were told we couldn't put our things into the house early even though our movers were on the way there. In the end it ended up working out.
