The maintenance issues on the house in 4 months. Repairing AC / Garage and cosmitic exposures leading to falling closet railings it seems not of high value . I can say the warranty and customer service from those have been pleasant but to early on a new build.

Some of the communication from First Choice Lending was not adequate enough and we had to get some things done last minute. They need to assume no one knows the process of buying homes so that buyers can get all Information, forms, and documents well in advance to make the process smoother

Everyone was very communicative. I had no issues with asking questions. [name removed] was amazing with sending updates every week. The preferred lender was reachable and answered all of my calls and emails.

I do like my home. I think the biggest thing for me is how unlevel the foundation is. I can walk through my house and see/feel undulations in the flooring. Outside the patio is uneven and holds water in certain areas. The driveway holds water and at anytime of the day you can see the finish work on the drive where they tried to smooth it out. I also think the filll dirt used could have been better. There are lots of rocks and large rocks in the fill.

The agent Andy Shipp was helpful and kind. The builder’s contractor agent did an awesome job explaining the operation of things in the house and giving great tips.

Hello [name removed], The flooring is coming off from the floor. I am assuming the glue wasn't strong enough to hold it down. They used really small screws on the entrance of the doors and on the closets.

What I like is that communication has improved what it comes warranty items. What I somewhat dislike is the benchmark finance company through Legends, if it applies to this question. I don't know if there are new people in training or what but they needs some improvement on customer service. Specifically how to communicate with people with respect, kindness, understanding and knowledge of their job. However their has been follow call backs to follow-up terms that the customer needs are certainly met.

I liked how easy it was. At one point of the journey, there was a slight debacle about using the preferred lender of Legend, but it all worked itself out and in the end resulted in a great experience!

I was impressed by how quickly we could move-in. I did feel pressured to sign the contract and felt there was not sufficient amount of time between inspections for things to be adequately addressed. Things were still being repaired the morning is was to close.

I dislike all the problems that I had since I moved in. This is a brand new home it shouldn’t have been no problems. What I like is that they have been coming by to correct the issues.

I bought my home with cash. I viewed the home prior to the walk through, because I live out of state the walk through was completed by agent. Noted we Moved in on Feb 26th called agent immediately in regard to the tub has a crack in it (No one has responded to my request) Large Bar sticking out the ground in back yard, landscaping has several patches missing. Trash and debris from other construction on Property. House has paint stains thought, Master shower stained. visible screws in living room, and other things. I have spoken with Andy he assured he spoke with builder. I submitted a ticket no one has responded.

The closing / end of the transaction was not the most favorable. No thank you. No welcome basket. The customer service aspect is lacking in so many areas. Also, I was promised some incentives during my initial visit which swayed my decision to purchase and those were taken "away" and I was told this was an error in communication to me. Legend Homes did not honor their promise to me as a buyer

The builder is horrible and doesn’t seem to care at all. It’s a month after closing and I still don’t even have working keys. Things on my home still unfinished. Overall they made it terrible. I wouldn’t have moved here if I could of got a refund on my escrow money.

During contract no issues. However, saw the house built and put together too fast in the last month and a half. Most work still not done close to deadline of closing date. Leaving errors to be fixed just within two days of closing. Work was rushed. Quality of home is less than our $105k house we had built 20years ago. Subfloor from start of staircase and throughout 2nd floor squeak and pivot underneath like a home that needs a remodel or a 1920’s home that the wooden staircases needed replacement. No one has addressed this issue. Workmanship seemed less in our home Vs others currently being built around us at a slower pace and do not appear to be rushed. Have walked through them to notice the details and is better built especially the 2-story homes like ours where the subfloor as detailed about move make NO NOISE, NO SQUEAKS! Repairs under warranty go unresponsive. No follow ups from anyone directly and have to now start documenting every call, warranty ticket entered, texts sent and when a contractor comes out, you are left unaware. They still show up with no notice. With the homes around us still being built but colder weather is approaching, just want to have repairs done ASAP, so those contractors are still available around us and bad colder weather is not here yet that could cause delays in getting work done. Overall not happy, satisfied with a delay in warranty repairs needed due to poor workmanship, delay in getting a live real person calling in a reasonable time to get a visual on issue and repaired. A delay in a water leak that went on for over 3 weeks cost us to have our first months water bill at $255. We had to make multiple calls, texts and follow ups.with the contractors and two Legend building site managers. All being told initially was an issue with the house next to us but overall was found we had a pinhole leak. Just one week after repair, the other side of irrigation is leaking!!!! Called and left a message on 11/14, it’s now day two with no contact. While we are told by the two Legend On site managers we can text or call them when we enter a warranty ticket, we now get no response from them as of Saturday, 11/12/22. At end of text was advised I would get a follow up on a different issue on Monday, 11/14/22. No response. Would say beware of builder! Warranty issues do not seem important to get taken care of and is left upon the work of the homeowner to call, text, email as many tickets on same issue, get a hold of a contractor and follow up to get on a schedule or an update. It’s automated response is what you get and no other phone number to call to further inquire on whom to contact directly due to no info left on what contractor did what work in the home other than electrical, plumbing, irrigation system, and painting. And when you call two of them, you got a response on why they can’t come out due to an issue with Legend and the other contractor has only Voicemail.
