I enjoyed the open communication between the Legend Homes office and myself throughout the process.

I felt like the whole process was so easy with Legend [name removed]. They made it easy to understand and I was in my home in no time.

Floors are cracking bugs are coming in no ceiling fans and other stuff. Sorry I can’t articulate it all. I am a war vet with a brain injury so I can’t remember everything, but there is a lot of issues.

I believe your loan team could do better with their communication than just sending emails with deadlines and ultimatum. A courtesy call for follow up could help with missed important email or upcoming deadline.

The housing community is beautiful, it's the surrounding area that needs a little more care.

Homes are not built with great quality or detail. I have been having issues with home since I have moved in

The home buying process was nothing short of amazing. from the time I walked into legends, I was greeted by Mr. [name removed] sales representative. His customer service skills were by far excellent, almost as if they came naturally to him in being himself. He gave me the run through on the quality of the house, which I was overall pleased with. Legends is truly a quality brand, in my search of houses I had visited and considered many different builders. Non to which met the standards of legends. I am very satisfied with my choice. The whole process was made extremely easy for me even though I had to do a lot of work on my end as far as qualifying for the house. Legends assured me that we were going to find a way to make it work and make the house my new home. From the sales, to construction, to builders and agent departments, they went above and beyond to see this process through to thee end. I am so happy with my new home. [name removed] from the construction department worked with me in getting everything ready for move in, the warranty department explained everything thoroughly to where I understood the process for submitting work orders. I do not have anything bad to say about the company. My loan officer [name removed] and his processor [name removed], made sure that we explored alternative options to get this deal closed which I'm extremely thankful for. Legends package incentives were the icing on the cake, and made the deal much more satisfying. Would recommend this company to anyone purchasing a home.

Upon moving in, we had to reach out to maintenance to fix the sink and touch up some paint spots. Some cutouts around the appliances and fixtures were jagged. When filling through the warranty portal in the beginning it was difficult to get someone to come out so we had to call the home office to get things expedited. It was nice that we were able to contact maintenance in one central location.

I liked that any little issue I had with my home were resolved in a timely manner.

Their not maintaining conditions of owners. There is trash barrels left in front. Christmas lights were left hanging on home for 6 mos after several conplaints to HOA

It wasn’t so much the purchase is things in here that need to be fixed and still has not been fixed and also the guy came over to adjust my water for the grass and now I have a water bill of $1200 that I did not cost
San Antonio, on Jun 07, 2023
There were some minor defects with the home and the time it took to rectify the errors was long.
San Antonio, on Apr 30, 2023
The whole process was a mess. Yes it was during the home rush in 2022 but you can tell this house was built in a rush. You all ended up rushing the closing and I feel I got a higher interest rate because of it. Window has a spider crack. Won’t replace because it should have been seen during closing. It happened from construction next door. Plumbing backed up 3 days after moving in. Never heard I was sorry for the inconvenience. The test ball was left in the pipe. Floors and carpet are cheap and terrible. So many little things with painting and caulking. Literally every person I have talked to has said they have had multiple problems.
San Antonio, TX, on Jul 23, 2023
First, the closing date and time changed multiple times and I was given short notice. (Lender issue) but 6 days after I moved in the plumbing backed up flooding most of my down stairs. That was 6 weeks ago... the issue still has not been repaired by the warranty team. They installed and textured the dry walls about 2 weeks ago, and the carpet and flooring come out next week. However still just get told they're waiting on parts to fix the actual issues. Waste water is pouring into my front yard. I am so far disgusted by legend homes and their partnerships for lending company and warranty company. 6 weeks and still waiting on repairs to be started/finished. The only reason I havent contacted a lawyer yet is because the Mario provides me updates anytime I contact him and lm trying my best to be an underdstanding and patient person. But this time line is a little ridiculous and annoying. Especially as someone who just moved to San Antonio and also has a career that takes a major part of his time. Third, I still can't turn my water service over to my name because they're waiting on a test from the builder and my valve in the front yard is in an open hole that isn't covered. The builder left paint in a closet and the tree waters around the trees.

I liked that my home had a bedroom on the bottom floor. I didn't like that I had to deal with 2 different title companies and mortgage companies and I felt that took away more money from me. I am still waiting on somethings to be fixed in my home.

The contracting process was smooth. Our sales representative, [name removed], was very helpful. The walk-through and actual move-in experience is where the process broke down. We expressed some concerns about the aesthetics and craftsmanship during the blue tape walkthrough to be told, “well it’s functional”. That sentiment is not acceptable for a brand new home to lack aesthetics and quality. We went the route of a new construction home so that we would not have to worry about craftsmanship and other major challenges that a resale home would present. Furthermore, we turned down a Lennar home because I was just so sure that Legend Homes were of a better quality. I’m wondering now if that was a mistake. By telling us that aesthetics and craftsmanship are not important, the process felt rushed and the home seemed to have been put up quickly and not quality controlled. For example, flooring was put in visibly wrong. In fact, pretty terrible. It seemed as if it was hoped that we didn’t see it. When we brought it up, the flooring was replaced, but only in patch areas. To make matters worse, it was replaced with the wrong color material and on the final walk-through I just so happened to be standing directly in the sunlight and noticed that the contractor put different color flooring down. There were other major concerns however, this one really left a bad taste in my mouth and I would never recommend legend homes to anyone because of it. We are first time homebuyers and we did pay a lot of money to make sure that we had a good quality home put up that would last us. Now it just seems that there will be things resulting from this experience that we will have to fix prematurely. I understand that there are challenges and things that need to be resolved during the blue tape walk-through, which is what the purpose of it is however, I am not pleased with the attitude and sentiment that was conveyed to us during this experience. I expected more from Legend Homes and I am disappointed.

San Antonio, TX, on Jun 23, 2022
There are still some pieces that need to be taken care of since we moved in. Overall experience was great, but due to some staff issues, we are having to wait an extended period of time to get some lighting issues/electrical taken care of. Other than that Andre and Brian were excellent throughout the whole process.
San Antonio, TX, on Jun 07, 2022
Poor communication during building process. Had 3 different construction managers. Rushed to finish the house after allowing me to lock in my rate and then telling me it is still 60 days from closing. Didn’t inspect my sewer line before I moved in. Sewer backed up on the 3rd day. Had to dig up my whole yard to fix it because they couldn’t find the pipe to fix it. Shall I go on?
