Certain things, not all just small things here and there needed to be redone
San Antonio, on Sep 21, 2024
Sub contractor quality. Lot of little details that needed to be attended to before during and after buying process.

Quality control is dismal, and I have absolutely no confidence in the craftmanship of the builder's sub-contractors.

The quality of the home is very poor and I continue to find flaws and problems with it as the days go by.

I felt reassured by the sales person. I dislike the quality and durability of the tile

I can see some of the nails on siding that didn’t go in all the way

Legend Homes Agent [name removed] was great. Process with purchasing home with First Choice was good. Process with getting issues fixed with home with the Builders was an awful experience. Home had many minor and major problems for a new build home. Building team definitely needs to get replaced in order for Legend Homes to have less issues selling homes or have customers more satisfied during initial home walkthroughs and visits (major and minor issues will not be noticed if a good Building [name removed] builds the house correctly, scaring away potential buyers).

I was given dead grass/sod when my home was built. Not sure why the builder did not do anything about that when I made my complaints.

The Builder representative phone number XXX-XXX-XXXX told us he would take care of any issues that we had with the house that were covered. Every issue we asked him to take care of he said he would handle and then never got back to us about it again. We mentioned it to him numerous times. He said it would be handled and someone would call us to schedule it. No one ever called. He was a terrible representative and if I owned this company he would be fired for not being able to handle the day to day of his job.

I liked the hospitality that I experienced with the process.

Response time on warrenty requests very slow or lost.

Love our home but dislike the process of getting it.

The scope was expanded significantly. The project was supposed to be finished on March 22, but sadly it wasn't until July 22 and was almost delayed much more. It has been said that [name removed] is infamous for intentionally missing deadlines to wait for sales so that potential buyers can back out to resell at greater prices. The [name removed]-appointed seller would freely say to me that he would resell my house at a greater cost, almost seeming to wish for my demise.

I like the layout and style of the home and the area it’s in. I didn’t like how hard it’s been to get certain things needed for the home as employees and contractors kept changing through the last year.

Building manager Zach has been awesome and explains everything in detail. Shortage supply lengthened the purchase of the house which is understandable. It's more of the quality of the house I disliked.

Where do I begin? I was shown the wrong lot. The paperwork that had the features listed for the house was not accurate. The walk through was just for show. Only a few things were corrected in the house with the blue tape walk. Our hot water heater power was not turned on. Some of the switches on the outside of the house was off. It was good that we knew where the switches were located.

We have had multiple issues come online since we have moved to our home. We have had dead grass placed onto rubbish left by builders, and area of the yard has completely washed away creating muddy paths that go directly to our driveway, the small full bath light flickers, cabinets were broken, and we had a leak that contributed to the walls needing repair. And all of this happened within the 1st 30days. Not sure if these will get reconciled in a timely matter

Found major audit failures when attempting to complete final walk, water not connected to master bath, electrical outlets missing. Lack of communication/confusion on what options came with the house, was told we were getting blinds but the contractor stated during the final walk they were not on our options.

[Translated from ES] A unique experience . Blessed to have the house of my dreams

Communication was an issue. This is our first home and the communication was terrible. They kept changing our closing date from December to March to April and finally closed in May. We understand that COVID had a lot to do with it but they could have informed us about the changes. We were supposed to get a notification every week and sometimes 3-4 to 5 weeks would go by without any news. That was the frustrating part about the whole process. Other than that we absolutely love our home. Thank you.

I was told there would only be carpets in the bedrooms. Upon getting closer to closing, I found that there was also carpet in the hallway and living room. Nothing was done to help fix this. I was given no option to have tile placed in those areas prior to closing. Upon closing, I found out the tile that was used was discontinued. I was forced to remove all of the tile in the house and use a different one so that they didn’t clash. Extremely dissatisfied that I closed on this house 1.5 months ago and I’m just now able to move in due to these issues.
