Bit of pressure regarding potential price increase and the lottery system for lots was odd. I was pulled a higher priced lot and if I chose to wait then price might go up… strange tactics. Once signed, process was smooth.

Loved the home designs, and community amenities. What I disliked were the limited choices on a few of the A and B-Options.

The experience was fine. The quality of some products was a disappointment. The shower glass doors (I will need to upgrade), the dishwasher (the interior is not stainless steel but plastic), the tub (fiberglass not cast iron), the interior doors are an amazing height but hollow. I tried to upgrade the shower doors but I purchased a spec house and was told it wasn’t an option.

The inability to make changes after initial choices.

The amount of time purchasers have to approve or identify concerns is not sufficient to sign off on for approval. We need more time to check everything from plumbing to paint before signing that all is good and no more items to be corrected. A full day walk through should be offered before signing off.

[name removed] in sales was most helpful and answered all our questions in a timely manner. He was patient with our many questions and provided outstanding customer service. Building Supervisor [name removed] was the third person who served in this role during our build. [name removed] was consistently prompt with informative updates and always responded quickly to our inquiries. Of particular note was [name removed]'s attention to customer satisfaction during the week between our New Home Celebration and Closing. Our kitchen cabinets had a variety of unknown "marks" on them, and were difficult to proper clean. [name removed] spent several hours personally cleaning the cabinets to make our new home truly special. [name removed] went far above and beyond what one would expect from a Building Supervisor, and he is indeed a credit to the Minto Company!

Loved [name removed], our superintendent. So helpful! Dislikes: Most of the interior finishes are cheaply done. The whole process of how down payments are calculated and presented to buyers is cumbersome and hard to get a “real” number before commitment. The push to get A and B choices so quickly fills the process with anxiety, especially when no construction is planned for months. I was asked to PROVE my ability to pay cash, more than once. All parts of the “money” components were frustrating.

I haven't moved in yet will in the next month but everyone I came in contact with could not have been more friendly, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and available, even if it wasn't there specific job. The most stressful part was picking options. But more is better than less.

I had a great experience with our salesman [name removed]. He was outstanding and very patient with us through the whole buying process. He made himself available to us every time we came back to look and was always available to speak with us by phone when we were not there. He was very knowledgeable with the lots, the layout of the land and listened to the type of home we wanted to build. I also had a great experience with my construction supervisor [name removed]. [name removed] was very informative and answered any question I had regarding the build. He was always available to speak with me and made himself available to meet me when I was in the South [name removed] area during the build. He frequently updated us and set photos which made me feel very comfortable with how the build was going. He was very thorough and addressed all our questions at the walk through. He was outstanding through out the whole process and we are very grateful that [name removed] was our builder. A disappointment I have is with the quality of some products that Minto offered such as the interior doors, they are hollow and they feel like cheap quality. I feel similar with the kitchen and bathroom cabinets offered. Minto should provide better quality options for kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I am very disappointed with the appliances and the lack of assistance from Whirlpool when I called them. I had an issue with my refrigerator from the day I moved in. I called whirlpool and they wouldn’t assist me until provided proof of ownership a copy of my deed, as they have Minto as the owner and they said the refrigerator was already months into the warranty since Minto bought it. This caused so much frustration and literally hours on the phone to get Whirlpool to even make an appointment for some to come look at the refrigerator. Minto should have stepped in to assist us and provide us with a new refrigerator.

I found [name removed] the POC during the construction of my home to be very responsive with excellent communication thruout the process. Every Friday I would get pictures and an update of the progress. Any questions I had were answered promptly. The sales office POC, [name removed], was also excellent. She was great about answering questions and getting me information as needed. Great teamwork!
