We were excited to move here! Our sales guy was great! Our "First" Superintendent was great! After he left, we got a different Superintendent, and he was a nice guy, however, if we had an issue, it seemed as though the first thing out of his mouth was "No, we can't do that..." He was definitely a company man, which I'm sure goes far with [name removed]. However, as a customer, building their first New home, it wasn't great. We went round and round with the excessive cracks in our lanai. This issue finally got resolved only after we went above our super. In the end, everything worked out. Our Master Care rep was great! Haleigh took care of any issue we brought to her attention.

My building foreman was very responsive and kept me updated while my house was being built. This was very helpful for me since I was not living in the area. My Mastercare representative was also very responsive with any and all issues, which were all fairly minor, and followed up to make sure everything was taken care of to my satisfaction.

Some of the minor repairs identified at walkthrough were not addressed until after closing. Items like drawer adjustments and gaps in the trim. The sliding door at our bathroom was damaged and we didn't have that fixed between walkthrough and closing, which when it was fixed, it took them 3 hours to complete.

The individual responsible for overseeing the construction did not monitor the many groups working inside the house, and he was probably responsible for monitoring too many houses under construction; there have been numerous rework items. I think the signing off on the cosmetic work gives [name removed] wiggle room for less-than-perfect standards that one should expect at the $500K level. This is the third new house I've owned, and we're still fixing things.

Partner who lives at least 11mos. Here had to write letters to management to receive pass badge for amenities. Repairs of molding pre 1 yr time won’t be completed in a professional manner! Poor workmanship, unwilling to repair correctly so gaps won’t appear again. Despite work orders being acknowledged for landscaping replacements due to frost damage 6 months have past without replacements! Also a tree which was supposed to be planted before moving in has never been planted. Mailbox area for Phase 8 needs drainage at back. Over 1inch of water collects in huge puddle where one has to access mail. Feet/shoes get soaked. Response for irrigation problems attended to in timely manner. Our Super [name removed] D -outstanding professional young man Warranty guy not so much! Love my neighbors, peaceful surroundings and welcome entryway. Guards at gate friendly and competent. Pools get very crowded -not enough shade umbrellas . Need new amenity center before 2years or more!!! Classes always full. New folks don’t get a chance to participate in some of the offerings. Music tributes very good. Plenty to do if one chooses and can get into the programs. Good speakers. Send me another survey after another 2 years!????

We have had a great experience so far with our new home. We had issues with refrigerant leaking out of our air conditioning unit twice, but they were addressed in a timely fashion.

Michael Thornton was excellent at communication especially since I was out of state. He also made time to meet with me during his busy work day when I was able to visit. I am disappointed with the corner quartz counter and backsplash. I feel that there should have been one piece. There is no seam in that corner in the model home. Also, the crack in the garage floor and chunk of concrete in the corner where the crack started from is unsightly as it is right at the entrance into the house from the garage.

Qualified lawn is poor except for entrance and visitor areas. I prefer a community with more lush plantings and walking paths, especially considering it is for older residents. I wish we had swings along various walking paths and parks.

First, Jennifer Petersen was very accommodating in showing us the various Antiqua villa lots still available, once we settled on the Antiqua Villa model. She was also very courteous and patient. Second, the builder assigned to our Villa, Shane Williams, sent us a video each Friday during the building of our Villa, so we could see the progress made. He was very informative and willing to answer all of our questions. We could not be happier with our experience with Minto USA.

Lawn installation was bad. Still not resolved. Many small hidden holes and weeds. Garden never finished. Dead bushes. Pine straw piled on top of sprinklers and the few plants but are now dead. Have filed more than once but nothing done.

The company is too stringent regarding names on contracts. We asked to have names reversed prior to signing and were told that was not possible due to "legal" issues. The length of time to show us as owners of the property is excessive.

Loved everything in my ready to move in home except the stove! We have a beautiful kitchen with a low end whirlpool stove/oven which we will be purchasing a new stove within the year. The sales people were great, the site supervisors and master care were also very helpful. I live in a beautiful cottage: Suggestions - I know you didn't ask but I have to...lol... keeping garbage receptacles in the garage needs to be reconsidered. The 90 + degree garages stink as the garbage sits all week bagged and covered. Either insulate the garage and the garage doors or come up with an outdoor enclosure for the bins to be kept in that matches the home. My second suggestion, all the garage door openers should be the better/upgraded - the noise is crazy every time we all open and close our garages (so charge extra ) its worth it for the quietness. I leave at 7am for work and I really feel like that garage door is disturbing to my neighbors as theirs is to me!
