Overall we worried about the craftsmanship of our home. Things were clearly broken or damaged yet the workers still installed it. Our super constantly answered our calls and texts and reassured us that [name removed] would make things right. We are grateful to have a new Minto Master Care who doesn't dismiss our concerns and quickly answers our concerns. She is a breath of fresh air! I would say the quality of our home was not the fault of Haleigh our Master Care representative. We had numerous issues during the build process that she has been working diligently to try to resolve. I believe the issues we have were the result of [name removed] using new “skilled laborers” not tested and also the desire to increase the number of homes without proper job supervision. As a result Master Care is having to deal with numerous issues that should have never occurred. Slowing down and building a quality home would change this rating from a 6 to a 10.

Our first contact was with [name removed] who is a very personable guy. He found us a spec home which we are very happy with. We liked the communications with our super-intendant [name removed]. He was always available for us when we had a question or wanted to see the house. Even though we bought a spec home, Minto’s choices were well done and we are very happy with them. After our settlement, [name removed] made sure that we had everything we needed and any small items that needed to be fixed were arranged by [name removed] and [name removed] from Mastercare. We are very pleased with our home!

It started at the sale when our sales person fell off the face of the earth and we were not contacted for quite some time until we reached out to find out what was going on. Once assigned a new sales person things got better. From that point to closing things went smoother. After closing we found several items in the home that needed to be fixed and unfortunately almost one year later we are still working on getting them fixed, most notable the shower. The general workmanship on the house is not stellar based on the price we paid for the house, lot and upgrades. Unfortunately we have been told that cosmetic items will not be fixed and that we purchased a production home NOT a custom build home. This was a very unprofessional answer even if it's the truth. It's been difficult to get a timely response to get items fixed, I have started communicating by text to get a timeline of how long it does take to get a response. We never did our 6 month walk through and now it appears it is a scramble to get things fixed as we approach our one year mark. I am not sure if the issues is Mintos or their representatives but either way it is not a good look.

Like: [name removed] and [name removed], they both were great and we appreciated them both Dislike: quality of finishes, purchasing option for upgrades, the sales office has no power to do anything to resolve issues --We never received the $600 for stay and play, the safety factor- only one exist for the entire community, no Commnication of future amenities, just too may red flags to put into this format -- we will not be moving in

Quality of the finished home was very unsatisfactory in many aspects Repairs that shouldn’t be required are now ongoing for 6 months and a amount of cosmetic defects are so major and extensive that they can not even be reasonably repaired

Our overall experience with [name removed] has been good. From the time we entered the sales office, [name removed] made signing contract and going thru the various stages exciting and easy. He kept us up to date with his videos. Our builder meeting wasn't as expected. We were kind of left on our own without much input from S.I.s. Our 1st MasterCare rep was okay but did not push back on individual contractors. Our second MasterCare rep [name removed] was not only a delight but efficient at working with contractors and prompt responses to all inquiries. Basically [name removed] shines with the right people taking care of homeowners. Given the pace of construction in this community, attention to detail insures that quality does not suffer over productivity.

The sales office and design teams were very helpful. The overall finish of the home is good and we are happy we are here. The building process was very frustrating. From the beginning we asked the superintendent to communicate to a specific phone number and he did not do it. At times he was condescending and rude and made us feel like we were bothering him when we asked questions. At times when questions were asked, he didn’t look further into the issues for the correct answer. For example, we asked about the motion light in hallway and his response was it is on the garage door opener — turns out the motion light sensor was never installed and it was not on the garage door opener. He also was quick to blame others for mistakes — for example, the foyer light was missing and blamed the electrician — it was corrected but was frustrating to hear him say that. He made us feel uncomfortable when he asked us survey questions in person and wanted all 10s.

The staff at [name removed] are the real heroes as they all go above and beyond it make it happen. We are in the final stretch as we closed on our home 11 months ago today. Our Mastercare person [name removed] has been exceptional any item that needs to be addressed he does. Even if it is out of his scope never does he say the dreaded words it's not my job, he just makes it happen and for that we are grateful. We still walk around our home amazed on how beautiful it is and feel fortunate to live here. Thank you

We had difficulties during our build process from the placement of the 60 amp outlet on the lanai, which wasn't where we indicated we wanted it. My husband happened to be there the day they ran the wiring and the walls were still open and they refused to move it. We even after offered to pay to have it moved we were denied. The pitch on our lanai is off, you can see it with your eye that the corner by the outside screen door is pitched towards the house. This means after a good rain we have a puddle under the roof area of the lanai, right where we'd like to have a rug and furniture but because of the potential of mold forming or having to move everything to let it dry out, for us that is still unacceptable. [name removed] did try to have it repaired but short of ripping out that slab and replacing it it is not fixable. We keep getting told that it is 'level' well, it shouldn't be level, it should be pitched away from the house. The fight we had to put up to have our bowed den ceiling repaired was ridiculous, we kept telling our super it was off but they just kept going with the process. They attempted to repair it by filling with joint compound, I couldn't believe how much of a fight we had to put up to finally have it somewhat repaired - its still not right. Our closing was delayed 5 days because they had to rip out half our shower because the knee wall was off. Again, something we noticed early on in the process but they kept building around it until the very end where they had to rip it out because it shifted when the counter top was installed. Minto paid for our accommodations and food while the closing was delayed but wouldn't pay for the additional month on our storage units that would have been emptied before renewing if we had closed when we were supposed to. The trey ceiling/sofit by the sliders is bowed and is still an open ticket so we'll see how that ends up, don't have much faith to be honest though - again this was called out prior to sheetrock and they just went on with the process. The accent wall ceiling in the dining area has a similar issue - again, an open ticket. I believe we had an awful building super, [name removed], who just didn't care. The fact that he was fired the day before our New Home Celebration speaks volumes to the quality of our home. Our new super [name removed], tried his best to get what he could resolved but with only 13 or so days couldn't work miracles. We only wish we had him from day one, I'm sure we'd feel much differently towards the quality of our home.

I really appreciated his communication, follow up and helpfulness even though he had many things that he had to deal with personally and professionally. We added several receptacles but only because I’m a retired electrician and thought we needed extras in certain places. However we would have appreciated suggestions such as a receptacle in the garage for a refrigerator or one over the entry space for lighting over the door. Our hose bib is outside our lanai which makes no sense. We were not given the option of putting it inside the lanai instead of having to buy an extra long hose and dragging it inside the lanai

What we like is how our Master Care Representative [name removed] has come in and took charge to help with all the issues that should have been resolved during the construction process. We feel the home was not ready to close but was forced to close anyway. The score of 9's are NOT a reflection on [name removed] and his hard work he did to make it a better experience. For [name removed] he is scored at all 10's, in our eyes because of all he did in correcting issues that were failed at the time of construction. After we closed neither the sales representative, nor our construction builder has followed up with us. [name removed] has been with us since the day we did our "New Home Celebration", which was really a "New Home Aggravation". [name removed] saw all that was not completed during construction, and we were told by our builder would be completed before closing. The day we arrived to do our walk through before closing, the work was not completed, and the home was terrible dirty. Again, we cannot praise [name removed] enough for all of his efforts and hard work in trying to better the situation. We give him overall Score of 10's, but for [name removed] report card 5's could have been a much better experience.

Now that we closed we like [name removed] at Mastercare for hi genuine interest in fixing and repairing issues we have. We have concerns about the commitment of the vendors in providing quality work and timely followup and resolution. Things are drawn out for months. Our refrigerator was damaged prior to closing and has permanent issues with stainless steel doors that whirlpool has told us they WON'T warranty because it's a contractor issue. We would like to reconsider ize the glazing contractor [name removed] for taking pride in his work and professionalism along with the Bathroom shower door workers/ vendor.

When we signed the purchase contract we were told we could use our own financing and title company without losing our incentives. That was not the case when I read thru further documentation. Our superintendent was great. He followed up on any questions/issues promptly.

I really loved all of it. [name removed], my sales rep, notified me right away about an available Lot, and thoroughly helped me through the contract part of it. [name removed] [name removed] was phenomenal!! He always kept me up to date with how the house was progressing, sent updates with pictures; answered any and all questions along the way, and was very quick to respond to me. Even when he was out on paternity leave, he followed up to make sure that [name removed] was answering all my questions, which he did. [name removed] was very good about sending me updates as well. Their transfer of responsibilities was seamless. It was a bittersweet time to say goodbye to [name removed]… Will with [name removed] has been great as well. We haven’t had but a couple issues/questions so far, and he has been very responsive.

I would say the quality of our home was not the fault of Haleigh our Master Care representative. We had numerous issues during the build process that she has been working diligently to try to resolve. I believe the issues we have were the result of [name removed] using new “skilled laborers” not tested and also the desire to increase the number of homes without proper job supervision. As a result Master Care is having to deal with numerous issues that should have never occurred. Slowing down and building a quality home would change this rating from a 6 to a 10.

We had difficulties during our build process from the placement of the 60 amp outlet on the lanai, which wasn't where we indicated we wanted it. My husband happened to be there the day they ran the wiring and the walls were still open and they refused to move it. We even after offered to pay to have it moved we were denied. The pitch on our lanai is off, you can see it with your eye that the corner by the outside screen door is pitched towards the house. This means after a good rain we have a puddle under the roof area of the lanai, right where we'd like to have a rug and furniture but because of the potential of mold forming or having to move everything to let it dry out, for us that is still unacceptable. [name removed] did try to have it repaired but short of ripping out that slab and replacing it it is not fixable. We keep getting told that it is 'level' well, it shouldn't be level, it should be pitched away from the house. The fight we had to put up to have our bowed den ceiling repaired was ridiculous, we kept telling our super it was off but they just kept going with the process. They attempted to repair it by filling with joint compound, I couldn't believe how much of a fight we had to put up to finally have it somewhat repaired - its still not right. Our closing was delayed 5 days because they had to rip out half our shower because the knee wall was off. Again, something we noticed early on in the process but they kept building around it until the very end where they had to rip it out because it shifted when the counter top was installed. Minto paid for our accommodations and food while the closing was delayed but wouldn't pay for the additional month on our storage units that would have been emptied before renewing if we had closed when we were supposed to. The trey ceiling/sofit by the sliders is bowed and is still an open ticket so we'll see how that ends up, don't have much faith to be honest though - again this was called out prior to sheetrock and they just went on with the process. The accent wall ceiling in the dining area has a similar issue - again, an open ticket. I believe we had an awful building super, [name removed], who just didn't care. The fact that he was fired the day before our New Home Celebration speaks volumes to the quality of our home. Our new super [name removed], tried his best to get what he could resolved but with only 13 or so days couldn't work miracles. We only wish we had him from day one, I'm sure we'd feel much differently towards the quality of our home.

What we like is how our Master Care Representative [name removed] has come in and took charge to help with all the issues that should have been resolved during the construction process. We feel the home was not ready to close but was forced to close anyway. The score of 9's are NOT a reflection on [name removed] and his hard work he did to make it a better experience. For [name removed] he is scored at all 10's, in our eyes because of all he did in correcting issues that were failed at the time of construction. After we closed neither the sales representative, nor our construction builder has followed up with us. [name removed] has been with us since the day we did our "New Home Celebration", which was really a "New Home Aggravation". [name removed] saw all that was not completed during construction, and we were told by our builder would be completed before closing. The day we arrived to do our walk through before closing, the work was not completed, and the home was terrible dirty. Again, we cannot praise [name removed] enough for all of his efforts and hard work in trying to better the situation. We give him overall Score of 10's, but for [name removed] report card 5's could have been a much better experience.

Now that we closed we like [name removed] at Mastercare for hi genuine interest in fixing and repairing issues we have. We have concerns about the commitment of the vendors in providing quality work and timely followup and resolution. Things are drawn out for months. Our refrigerator was damaged prior to closing and has permanent issues with stainless steel doors that whirlpool has told us they WON'T warranty because it's a contractor issue. We would like to reconsider ize the glazing contractor [name removed] for taking pride in his work and professionalism along with the Bathroom shower door workers/ vendor.

It started at the sale when our sales person fell off the face of the earth and we were not contacted for quite some time until we reached out to find out what was going on. Once assigned a new sales person things got better. From that point to closing things went smoother. After closing we found several items in the home that needed to be fixed and unfortunately almost one year later we are still working on getting them fixed, most notable the shower. The general workmanship on the house is not stellar based on the price we paid for the house, lot and upgrades. Unfortunately we have been told that cosmetic items will not be fixed and that we purchased a production home NOT a custom build home. This was a very unprofessional answer even if it's the truth. It's been difficult to get a timely response to get items fixed, I have started communicating by text to get a timeline of how long it does take to get a response. We never did our 6 month walk through and now it appears it is a scramble to get things fixed as we approach our one year mark. I am not sure if the issues is Mintos or their representatives but either way it is not a good look.

Our overall experience with [name removed] has been good. From the time we entered the sales office, [name removed] made signing contract and going thru the various stages exciting and easy. He kept us up to date with his videos. Our builder meeting wasn't as expected. We were kind of left on our own without much input from S.I.s. Our 1st MasterCare rep was okay but did not push back on individual contractors. Our second MasterCare rep [name removed] was not only a delight but efficient at working with contractors and prompt responses to all inquiries. Basically [name removed] shines with the right people taking care of homeowners. Given the pace of construction in this community, attention to detail insures that quality does not suffer over productivity.
