We were very fortunate to have [name removed] as our building superintendent. He kept us informed at every stage of the process and was honest when there were issues and explained how they were being handled. You could tell he takes great pride in his work and is very meticulous. We had complete trust in [name removed] and [name removed] and knew that all would turn out well. And it did!! Our Master Care rep, [name removed], is a pleasure to work with too. We've been impressed how quickly he responds. My only negative comment is the downside of being one of the first completed homes in a new phase. Contractors working on other homes have a tendency to park or block our driveway despite the "Permanent Resident" signs. Other than that, love the community. We're very happy here!

Both showed excellent communication and customer service skills and I would highly recommend both of them. The layers of red tape and who to contact regarding poor landscaping is very non customer centric.

The sales experience on our home was a string of misinformation. Our landscaping irrigation didn’t work for over two months. My back yard still looks horrible. Standing water in one section when it hasn’t rained for a week. Cannot be mowed and a mosquito breeding ground. Dead palm trees everywhere and ours are dwindling

The quality of the concrete in the lanai, the walkways and driveway is poor at best! We opted for the standard appliances from Whirlpool. The range is gas top and electric oven. it is very low quality! It heats up the entire stove when oven is on and burns the hand to touch the backsplash and control panel on the stove. There is NO FAN in these models!!!! They should not even be on the market! Shame on Minto for purchasing them. I fear what will happen when I am cooking for the holidays for more than an hour.

We would like to provide some information regarding our Master Care Representative. The fact that [name removed] was assigned to our home in February makes us very happy. Compared to our first designated representative, this is a welcome change. When we voiced concerns, [name removed] responded positively rather than dismissively to every circumstance. Also, her emails and text messages were in a timely and thorough manner. When it came to making appointments for workers to come back to our house, she was dependable and prompt. Her updates regarding her vacation time and a thorough email outlining who to contact in the event of a problem were really appreciated. In several circumstances, [name removed]'s extensive understanding of Minto Building helped to calm our nerves. With the aforementioned work attributes, I can assume that she is a fantastic team player both at the office and when resolving problems on the job site.

The houses are put up so fast that there were many things that were not done well. Some options forgotten etc. the walls are hollow and shutter when doors are closed. Maybe houses are built in this fashion everywhere too, but almost without exception, everyone I have talked with have expressed the same opinion of shoddy, hurried construction.

I have been waiting for a mirror for my bathroom for over 4 weeks. The vendor is unreliable. They never cut the grass between my house and weeds grow all the time The back has numerous dead trees since i moved in a year ago and still have not been replaced. I asked for replacement of all our dead or missing plants several months ago. It is now going to be autumn and still never received. After paying for these services i would prefer to take the money and hire my own landscaper. There is no pride in the vendors work and no oversite of them. Epic failure on [name removed]’s part.

Efficient building process, quality contstruction, responsive to needs. Only negative was the need to dig through the slab in two places to repair a leak. That was unnerving but appears to be corrected.

Many things have been down graded from the previous development like the units of cottages are much closer together. I think the contracts are one sided for [name removed] which is not fair to the customer. I think the workmanship of the trades are a mix of good to incompetent. The warranty issues have been disturbing in the way that some repairs are being done. Repairs being done in a subpar and incorrect way causes addition time and costs to everyone involved especially the customer and shows no respect for those paying for the home. I still work so it takes my time away from the business and costs the business also for less productivity for the day. There is much more to the story but I’m not wasting time right now just to repeat it as I have already in emails to the supervisor [name removed] who will be getting an email from me as a follow up from our last meeting. I believe some of the employees want to do better but can only do what the corporation says is ok and that is usually not to do what right but what makes [name removed] more profits. [name removed] said right to my face [name removed] is a corporation and needs to make profits. I was wondering if you’re so proud of being a private company and not public company why not post your profits ? Embarrassed? Much more to say but my time is more valuable to me. I also think some employees are over loaded which also causes waste and improper final results. While others sit behind the desk and protected by the lawyers you have on call. People will go broke in this system of corruption with your lawyers you will bankrupt them before they have a chance to get their say or prove their case. Disgusting people in a disgusting nation of lies. I will request talking to the supervisor or above them of [name removed] next.

[name removed] has been terrific in following up and contacting service people to get repairs done. Most of the repair people have been great to work with. [name removed] from Kintz Electric, for example, was wonderful. The carpet company, ISI, however, is horrible. They didn't show up at all for their scheduled appointments two times and didn't call to say they were not coming or to reschedule. (I'd rescheduled my own appointments to accommodate the carpet company and they didn't even show up.) A trim piece they ordered sat for weeks (they admitted) before they finally scheduled an appointment to install it (an appointment they didn't show up for until after both [name removed] and I called them).

When viewing construction, I was expecting tighter fits at the joints and a lot less toe nailing. We had severe cracking in our garage and patio. [name removed] did pay to apoxy the garage and we agreed they would pay for the prep work on the patio up to the point where the pebble surface would be installed. The front door was hung slightly crooked and in the mast shower, clear caulk went on over some of the red clay mud. I still need to submit that to be fixed. Overall, however, we are happy with the house and look forward to our new lives there.

After paying for these services i would prefer to take the money and hire my own landscaper. There is no pride in the vendors work and no oversite of them. Epic failure on [name removed]’s part.

Efficient building process, quality contstruction, responsive to needs. Only negative was the need to dig through the slab in two places to repair a leak. That was unnerving but appears to be corrected.

[name removed] has been terrific in following up and contacting service people to get repairs done. Most of the repair people have been great to work with. [name removed] from Kintz Electric, for example, was wonderful. The carpet company, ISI, however, is horrible. They didn't show up at all for their scheduled appointments two times and didn't call to say they were not coming or to reschedule. (I'd rescheduled my own appointments to accommodate the carpet company and they didn't even show up.) A trim piece they ordered sat for weeks (they admitted) before they finally scheduled an appointment to install it (an appointment they didn't show up for until after both [name removed] and I called them).
