Everything went smoothly and the house was complete months before estimated. [name removed] and [name removed] were awesome to work with. [name removed] sent me emails with weekly updates and photos every single week once the construction had begun.

Lack of prompt response to home issues after 6 month walk through.
Hardeeville, on Nov 19, 2025
Quality of work was very poor. Uneven walls and floors. Scheduled workers are no shows. Your assigned Supervisors and Mastercare Reps keep changing and you have to always start at the beginning and prove that you didn’t cause the damage that was supposed to be fixed. One strong example is that the tub was severely damaged upon final walk thru. It was noted and repaired after closing. [name removed] after the repairs were made the compound used started to break down with each use or cleaning of the bath. We reported it along with sagging floors and a few other minor things like a toilet paper holder that was mounted to a seam and went through the wall upon changing toilet paper roll. We were leaving for a few months and our Mastercare [name removed] said that all would be repaired once we returned back to the home. We returned to learn that we had a new [name removed] and at that point we had to provide proof that we did not damage the bath ourselves. We had to justify that we somehow didn’t push the toilet paper holder through the wall intentionally. We were told that only a few scratches would be fixed in the bath. When repair man came to fix bath he said that the original repair was done by using spray paint and improper compounds and said he would have to recoat the entire bath. When it came time for toilet paper holder repair we were told by our MC [name removed] that he will only approve the patching of the wall. No sanding, no painting and that he would not reinstall the toilet paper holder. We understood we were responsible for the painting because we had it painted ourselves. But found it very petty that he would not cover the sanding or installing the toilet paper holder. The drain plug in bathroom sink lays crooked and you have to push the stopper down with your finger to hold the water. Plumber came to fix it and said to us that the faucet was installed too far back and it doesn’t align correctly with drain stopper and would need to be replaced. MC [name removed] said if it holds water when we push it down with our fingers then it is doing its job and will not be replaced. So our brand new home of $600k has a drain stopper that will always sit crookedly and is fine thru Minto Standards. Our dining room accent wall had an inch and 3/4 difference from left to right on the header. Initial repair of that showed a warped support beam. That was solved with having a painter use wood shims and plaster to make the wall appear even. So the quality of work that went into our build was very substandard and disappointing. Our concrete floor throughout the entire home is uneven. When the living room area was being fixed it was proven to have major high and low areas that needed to be leveled. So they had to dig out some areas and build up others. The hassle of having to move all of your furniture and belongings from dining and living room area, the noise, dust and odors from chemicals make you just decide to live with uneven floors in other rooms. We are Senior Citizens and thought we were building a quality home to retire in and that has not been the case.

[name removed] our supervisor was amazing thru the entire process. Always kept usnup to date and di everything he said he would.
Hardeeville, on Nov 12, 2025
We felt we didn't have as much input as we would have liked. [name removed] just does things their way, and we didn't have a say. Didn't get all necessary info initially as to how community and surrounding areas were booming or we might not have chosen area. Community amenities cannot keep up on amount of people and homes within. Too focused on jamming in homes causing too much loss of land, trees and added congestion.
Hardeeville, on Nov 17, 2025
Working with Haleigh has been a pleasure. She is responsive, attentive, and takes the time to clearly explain the process for resolving any issues. Haleigh stays on top of the vendors to ensure work is completed promptly and as promised. She has consistently excelled at every stage of this process. However, I believe the first question in the survey, "Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of my new home," is not a fair assessment of the master care representatives' performance. These representatives are not responsible for the design or construction of the home, which directly impacts its quality. If an issue is design-related and beyond the control of a master care representative, it is unfair to negatively impact their performance rating based on this question. Instead, they should be evaluated on their effectiveness in helping us navigate any quality issues, rather than the overall quality of the home, which may be outside their control. For example, our home has a design issue with the heating and air conditioning system. We purchased a [name removed] pocket door upgrade, but the design of the HVAC system does not account for the effects when the door is closed. Essentially, we've paid for an upgrade we cannot fully utilize, which is a reflection of the home's quality and beyond the control of a master care representative.

The communication was BEST IN CLASS... [name removed] and [name removed] kept us posted on everything. The weekly pictures from [name removed] were great to see the progress of our home.
Hardeeville, on Nov 07, 2025
One of my main issues is my breaker box Its to small for my model and whete other neighbors have the same model or smaller they have 10 or more spots to add breakers. For me I will have to pay to have a sub box put in if I dont want to hop on to other breakers.Seems like I paid the same for less. That's my main concern.
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 19, 2025
Overall a great experience. However when picking options I felt there should have been a window of time for changes. At least a few days. Also more guidance from Sales on recommended add -ons. Outlets and laundry hook up, very disappointed I didn't get more advice.
Hardeeville, on Nov 07, 2025
Had an issue with my concrete in lanai and it was taken care of.
Hardeeville, on Nov 12, 2025
Displeased with the Mastercare commitment to rectify issues with my home, particularly with the driveway pavers and drainage swales.
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 16, 2025
Communication from [name removed] was excellent at all phases.
Hardeeville, on Nov 06, 2025
I liked our representatives, [name removed], [name removed]. The problem we are experiencing is with the high ups with [name removed]. We are having cement lanai problems and for now 6 months, we can’t seem to get an answer to get the repairs done. [name removed] has been diligent with trying to get this resolved. She continues to update me, even though it is usually just an “I don’t have an answer yet”.

My sales rep [name removed], my builder [name removed], and my mastercare rep [name removed] are great to work with and communicated with me throughout the process and [name removed] is fantastic at taking care of anything that needs taken care of! They are exceptional at what they do!
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 16, 2025
Overall, we loved working with [name removed] and think he did a fantastic job on our home. We do believe the overall quality is great. We have two major complaints though about our home, which I beleive has more to do with the subcontractors than [name removed]. First, the tile work in our master bathroom. While the rest of the tile work in the house--- in the guest bathroom and the backsplash in the kitchen---was done with care and skill, the tile in the master shower was sloppy and poor workmanship. Crooked lines, inconsistent depth of grout, sloppy grout work, two different colors of grout and broken tiles in our decorative band. Every time we get in the shower we are so disappointed in it; it is not in line with the quality of the rest of the house or what I think [name removed] wants to represent as quality work. Our Master Care rep did have someone look at the shower, and they agreed that it needed to be fixed, but we have had zero follow up since that appointment to let us know when we can expect the work to be started. Our second complaint is with the concrete walkway leading into the house. We noticed before we moved in that there is already a crack in the concrete at the entry of the walkway. It was not until we walked around the neighborhood that we realized that every other house of our model that the walkway had a score line at the place where we have the crack. We are concerned that this will lead to early heaving in the concrete that would have been mitigated if laid properly.

Wonderful experience! Great communication and feel confident any issues will that may arise will be taken care of quickly and completely.

We appreciated the professionalism, responsiveness, and helpfulness of the sales, our superintendent and Mastercare team throughout the building process.

IT WAS THE MOST EASY TRANSITION WE HAVE EVER MADE. WE WERE OUT OF STATE DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS BUT OUR SALES REP (KIM WEGGONER) AND BUILDING SUPERINTENDANT ([name removed]) WERE AMAZING. [name removed] GAVE US A WEEKLY UPDATE ALONG WITH PICTURES EVERY FRIDAY. HE IS THE MOST FRIENDLY AND CHARISMATIC YOUNG MAN WE HAVE EVER MET. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ACCOMODATE ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. HE IS [name removed]'S ACE IN THE WHOLE. FANTASTIC PERSON WITH GREAT ENERGY TO HIS POSITION!!
Hardeeville, on Nov 07, 2025
I had a great experience. I feel my house is well built with a few minor fixes that were taken care of. My Master Care person [name removed] is wonderful.
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 15, 2025
Open communication and quick response back when I had questions. Also, quickly resolved any issues that were reported
Hardeeville, on Oct 28, 2025
During the building process supervision was pour, and the lack of follow up of subcontractors was nonexistent, [name removed] started out week and when [name removed] took over it was completely different, he was very professional and I was impressed with his knowledge in construction, I felt very important and that [name removed] cared about my concerns. Game changer.
Hardeeville, on Nov 05, 2025
[name removed] was always very responsive and respectful when helping us to correct the issues that we faced over the past year in our new home. We are grateful for his help but also disappointed in the lack of care [name removed] put into our build. It was evident that little more care/ detail in the build process would have helped to make this an easier year.
Hardeeville, on Oct 18, 2025
Friendliness and professionalism of staff. Very knowledgeable, easy to work with and helpful in every way.
Hardeeville, on Nov 03, 2025
Building superintendent as well as our Master Care representative were excellent.
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 12, 2025
I do not remember being informed that there were no change orders after I signed my paperwork.
Hardeeville, on Oct 31, 2025
I have had nothing but a positive experience. The few issues I did have were addressed immediately.
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 12, 2025
Bit of pressure regarding potential price increase and the lottery system for lots was odd. I was pulled a higher priced lot and if I chose to wait then price might go up… strange tactics. Once signed, process was smooth.
Hardeeville, on Oct 07, 2025
Always a quick response from the builder and Master Care team when we had a question or concern. We were unable to walk through before closing on-line and would have preferred different placement of light fixture over dining area. Told it was too late. Also both lights in the high ceiling in the foyer light up together rather than singularly. Other items were fixed quickly and to our satisfaction
Hardeeville, on Oct 30, 2025
We very much like the community and working with [name removed].
Hardeeville, on Oct 02, 2025
As we’ve lived in the home longer, we notice items from the building team that are a bit substandard. They are getting addressed by the team but wish they had been caught in the QC check.

[name removed] is very thorough and does a great job at communicating matters of concern.

In our move in meeting we asked that a landscaping issue (large red hose sticking out of ground) be taken care of. In our first master care meeting we reiterated this (since it was not taken care of along with our dead palm tree). We are now at our 6 month meeting and still have the red hose sticking out of the ground and a dead palm.

The process of buying my home was very very easy. The build of my cottage went very well and I am very satisfied with the overall condition of my home after being in my home for close to a year. Any minor repairs were quickly and efficiently addressed in a very timely manner. Overall, I highly recommend Minto/MasterCare to any new home owner looking for a great and well build home.

Our experience with [name removed] overall was great and we a very happy with our home.the LMHH community is very nice but the amenities are not large enough to accommodate all the residents. There needs to be another pool(s) and additional large and small meetings facilities to accommodate classes demos and activities…also some type of in community shopping convenience type store would be appreciated along with an additional quick casual dining take out.
Hardeeville, on Oct 25, 2025
Everything and everybody - From Sales, to design selections, having a great builder ([name removed]) and Mastercare ([name removed]) plus all the great people that built the house!!!
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 05, 2025
Loved the home designs, and community amenities. What I disliked were the limited choices on a few of the A and B-Options.
Hardeeville, SC, on Nov 05, 2025
The experience was fine. The quality of some products was a disappointment. The shower glass doors (I will need to upgrade), the dishwasher (the interior is not stainless steel but plastic), the tub (fiberglass not cast iron), the interior doors are an amazing height but hollow. I tried to upgrade the shower doors but I purchased a spec house and was told it wasn’t an option.

We are grateful for his help but also disappointed in the lack of care [name removed] put into our build. It was evident that little more care/ detail in the build process would have helped to make this an easier year.

Building superintendent as well as our Master Care representative were excellent.
