Our story begins in 1955 with a simple belief: that we could build better places to live, work and play, one home and one relationship at a time. Since then, The Minto Group has successfully built a fully-integrated real estate company that can meet the needs of any individual, family, investor or business. Minto warranty service and [removed] and his crew are amazing. Castle Group is awful. [removed] and his crew are disorganized and appear to be only focused on landscaping. We have had 2 instances where the [removed] Walk Call box has been down (we live primarily in Ohio so this is the only way friends & family can access our condo). Fortunately the north gate to [removed] Walk was open and they could get in thru the main gate. The north gate was permanently closed yesterday so when this happens again our friends or family will have no access to our condo. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM!!! And until it is addressed I will not recommend Minto. Castle Group and Minto appear to have no concern for our problem. Out of town [removed] Walk owners now have only one unreliable entry point for guests. Access to our condo was misrepresented during the sales process and currently our only recourse is calling and writing to people who do not care.

There was absolutely no communication from Minto unless we initiated a call. The only exception was [removed], our Minto real estate agent, who went above and beyond in being symathetic with our situation and helped as much as she could in getting answers.

Very disappointed on the quality of the workmanship with the tiles and the type of windows installed . Big problems with water condensation when the temperature is low outside. It's gong to be a problem of mold and Rot very quickly .

UNACCEPTABLE REWORK PERFORMED BY CONTRACTOR AT THE EXPENSE AND INCONVENIENCE OF TENANTS AND NOW WANTS A THIRD CHANCE TO DO IT RIGHT. SECONDLY IT IS THE USE OF A BROOM SWEEPER ON PROJECT THAT RUNS THROUGH PILES OF DIRT AND CREATES CLOUDS OF DUST AND [removed] THAT RAISE ABOVE THE BUILDINGS AND COAT LANIS, AUTOS, AND POOLS WITH DIRT WEEKLY. AND THE TENANTS HAVE TO BREATH THE DIRT FILLED AIR. THERE ARE CORRECT WAYS TO DO THIS.

The single most significant reason for such a high rating is due to the service of the Minto team. There were several issues as it relates to the construction of the unit. The Minto team has been very responsive and diligent ensuring speedy repair. Their communication is outstanding.

Sending workers multiple times to fix the same item and not having that item fixed properly. This results in a frustrating loss of our time plus we have to clean up after them and possibly live with matters being made worse than the original condition.

The workmanship is sloppy in places, doors cut too high, floors settling and cauld used in 1/2 inch layers to "hide," ceiling out of level, wals not completely plumb, but most importantly the darn water/lift station system problems are a huge concern.

Unacceptable level of Quality in the finishing work and installation of appliances for a building of this type. Example: Our closing was in June 2015; we moved in on December 10, 2015; poor painting; Dishwasher never turned on to test, flooded the floor,ruined the wood floor, dishwasher broke apart and was replaced - so, no dishwasher for two months. Water closet leaked, thru ceiling below onto wood floor in stairway. Microwave damper never installed, so winds blew air into kitchen. Long list of unacceptable or unfinished items inside the home, taking until April 2016 to correct. Landscaping poor; irrigation system has never worked, plants and tree died. We documented all these items as they were discovered, and there was slow response in correcting them. A QUALITY CONTROL TEAM should PROPERLY punch-list the buildings, operate appliances and plumbing fixtures, and correct them BEFORE an Owner moves in.

I have been waiting since last August on issues with my floors. Minto has had [removed] the owner of Manasota Floors out 2 times. I am very unsatisfied with the time it's taking for Minto to make a decision here. As far as were concerned and believe that [removed] is on board there are 2 options. 1. Move us out and replace the floors or provide us a financial settlement.

Last assessment was likely a "10" for each element and remains a "10" for everything with the exception of now having to enjoy our wonderful unit to the beat of every footstep taken by our upstairs neighbors. Had not experienced this until just the past month when they arrived on a more permanent basis. Know Mento has been challenged in their ability to provide optimum soundproofing and of course assured us that issues with earlier units were resolved and that the new units incorporated the latest and best technology, but nevertheless we are now living inside a base drum. Funny that hotel, cruise ships and office buildings can get this correct, but not a prominent developer like Mento.
