i felt like we closed before our house was ready and then it is like pulling teeth to get things done and constantly following up with mastercare and they seem clueless and just writing tickets for us to deal with the vendor.

Our Mastercare person is fantastic. However, the construction of this home is inferior to any other home I’ve ever owned or had built. The final product had had silicone left on the counter bathroom ledges, caulking was inferior all over the home, a major leak in the roof the first night we were in, our entryway had to be totally dismantled and put back together due to a leak, and the quality of the interior drawers and cabinets should be better. Not happy.

The contractors do not keep appointments. The master care reps are horrible about keeping up with tickets. The quality of finishes are not good. The community/activities are the reason we are here. It has nothing to do with Minto

Customer care and warranty service have been great. It's disappointing that the home requires these services. Also, some of service required is a result of carelessness from another service messing up work that has been completed. Examples are,Over two hundred pavers needed to be replaced due to paint damage. Kitchen cabinets damaged after they were installed.

I can’t think of anything we disliked, but the best part has been the 2 year warranty and our amazing Mastercare rep [name removed]. All of the little issues we had have been taken care of. And we love our home.

Like: 1. [name removed] was the best, most helpful person on the team. 2. Resolving issue ([name removed]) is way better than the initial process but that is sad as it would be better if stuff was better managed ahead of time. 3. Quality of workmanship per base house is very good. 4. Actual closing went well Dislikes: 1. Forced to pick a specific house style. There should have been a list and a selection as you your number came up. Then pick a lot. Got no picking of lot/house colors 2. Emailed with no call Friday after Thanksgiving as I was getting on week long cruise, was informed I had to make decision within 3 days as I was on the cruise and make payment. Should have been given time to finish vacation to resolve. 3. Key building information from sales was not communicated. Things that are different in [name removed], knowing many people were moving to [name removed] from outside [name removed], key building things should be communicated, planning on completing lanai would require footing per code. How flooring was being attached (Carpet/Tile/Engineered Wood). Many people are taking up and out limited flooring selections. After selling thousands of homes there should be information sales should know to pass along. 4. Electrical - have house lights on Garage breaker. No light switch as you come in from garage at night, with side entrance house should have switch for side lights and switch for front light. 5. house placements with houses on top of each other shifting of homes on adjacent sites would help with privacy. 6. Over time would think there would be design improvements for door swings, and 3 and 4 way switch locations (No Kitchen switch by living room/master bedroom side of house. 7. Should have had some choose in landscape plants. 8. Appliances, lots of people/myself having to swap out based on limited options. 9. Closing needs more/better communication had to do wire transfer while out of the country because of short notice of actual closing numbers. 10. I think sales process was the worst part. 11. Was not communicated that my Partner need exemption to be able to use facilities. She was not looking to take [name removed] residency as we still have home in Wisconsin. We are still waiting on Residency exemption (a Month in).

The quality of the homes is very high. Where there are issues, they are addressed quickly. None have been significant. I like the amenities. I think the level of amenities offered are sufficient for our needs. [name removed] Beach is a robust city. I wouldn't want to live in a community that offered so much that I wouldn't need to go out to do things we needed. That would make our world too small and be too expensive.

I can’t think of anything we disliked, but the best part has been the 2 year warranty and our amazing Mastercare rep [name removed]. All of the little issues we had have been taken care of. And we love our home.

The quality of the homes is very high. Where there are issues, they are addressed quickly. None have been significant. I like the amenities. I think the level of amenities offered are sufficient for our needs. [name removed] Beach is a robust city. I wouldn't want to live in a community that offered so much that I wouldn't need to go out to do things we needed. That would make our world too small and be too expensive.

Liked having a specific person to oversee things getting taken care of. Disliked how long it took subcontracters to replace things, ie Windows.
