The entire process was great. We did start off with one builder (who found another job) but ended up with [name removed] - who was great!! [name removed] was easy to get ahold of and sent us weekly updates. There were things that he caught (items to be fixed) that we would have never known needed to be fixed - just very thorough. [name removed], our master care was also very helpful in getting a the few items we needed fixed as well. I have heard a few other stories (that did not go as well) and happy we had [name removed] and [name removed]!!

Like- Staff after sale has been exceptional in taking care of build issues ( thank you [name removed]) . Dislike- Pre build staff did not know a lot of questions as to what contract builders would give us . Example , counter top extension ( we wanted one piece) staff said have to wait and see what they give us .

The time frame allowed for choosing B options is very short, and limited access to the design center to prepare for the B option meeting. The email with option choices is ok, but you cannot see the colors or detail very well. This is a huge decision $$$$$$ and I think you should have more time to view and decide, and “ sleep on it for one night “ prior to signing off on your choices. The paint colors were faded in the design center to what they actually are, which almost caused a real problem for me. Our builder [name removed] was amazing, informative, knowledgeable and helpful with any and all questions. I felt he really cared about delivering a quality home and it shows in the finished product. He’s awesome, and I’m so thankful he was our builder.

We enjoyed the upbeat interaction from residents and staff when viewing the models on two visits.Following that, our assigned sales agent, [name removed], was awesome to work with and helpful at every step of the process. [name removed], our designer, was great. Our builder, [name removed], was awesome, as well, throughout the build. He was informative, responsive, very friendly and approachable.He built us a beautiful home. During our last visit in early January, [name removed] made a point to stop over and visit to see if he could be of further assistance in our settling in. We met with our Mastercare rep, [name removed], and found her to be very friendly and competent. [name removed] is currently addressing some remaining issues and moving right along. Thank you [name removed] for great employees, along with a great product and concept!

Home was not built to specs/blueprints. I was lied to by my [name removed] rep during the building process and had to contact the home office to get issue completed. Several items had to be addressed/fixed after we moved in instead of prior to closing. Roof issue still has not been addressed even after 1yr.

I had a few issues in the beginning trying to understand the process and how [name removed] does it. But after much communication and working together, got on the right track. Also, after having been thru the process, I appreciate why you cannot change certain things but alternatives are a great idea when the design isn't perfect... ie: upgrades for bifold doors, mirror options, etc. Also, we did have 3 project managers... [name removed] did the best job he could with us being our 3rd project manager (other 2 found a different job and left the co)

Structurally [name removed] builds a solid home. AS far as provided for amenities eg ... cabinet, flooring, appliances, sinks, faucets finishes etc ... [name removed] definitely fell short of my simplest expectations. Fact *** You can't tell how poorly a home is constructed until you take it apart which is exactly what I did and the level of workmanship is shoddy at best

I regret buying a refrigerator through [name removed]. I’ve had the doors replaced three times and I still am getting rust I feel like at this point.. I need a whole new refrigerator or reimbursed for the amount that I paid and I can go get my own refrigerator. I’ve been here nearly a year.

We did not have a good experience with our designer [name removed]. We felt pushed into buying things that we would not have bought. Also, she did not tell us the pros and cons of the materials we were picking out. If she would have been honest, we would have chosen different counter tops. Not given a proper amount of time to make such permanent decisions. Once we walked out the door, that was it, no changes can be made. We the consumers deserve the right to have at least one week to make such big decisions. This is not our first house that we have built in here. I have stated this before but obviously no change was made. This is a huge disappointment with Minto.

I love my new home and community and my new neighbors. I had multiple issues with getting my front door fixed initially. It was damaged prior to me closing and I was assured that it would be fixed. It took 4 trips to my home and multiple disagreements about my door before it was fixed. I have hurricane windows and door. They door company came twice with a door without glass in it and told me they were going to move my glass to the new door. I refused this both times because you can not do this with a hurricane door and maintain the hurricane integrity and rating if you disassemble the door. Finally after multiple, more the 10 phone calls back and forth with the door company and different levels of management the correct door was installed. This should not have been this hard and I should not of had to be the one to educate the door company on their own product. The installers were great The company itself was not. [name removed] should have had that door replaced before I closed.

We were traveling extensively during the 5 months of construction and [name removed] sent us weekly photos and written updates on the progress. He was also very quick to respond on any issues or questions we had. [name removed] was also very helpful in organizing meetings as needed and helping us with any decisions we had to make.

The only thing that I am very upset about (and just found out) is that the dog park, which is touted as a big amenity, is ONLY golf cart accessible. It never occurred to me that I could not park there with my vehicle and it is quite a trek with a dog from the closest parking lot, which is Publix.

Home was not built to specs/blueprints. I was lied to by my [name removed] rep during the building process and had to contact the home office to get issue completed. Several items had to be addressed/fixed after we moved in instead of prior to closing. Roof issue still has not been addressed even after 1yr.

I regret buying a refrigerator through [name removed]. I’ve had the doors replaced three times and I still am getting rust I feel like at this point.. I need a whole new refrigerator or reimbursed for the amount that I paid and I can go get my own refrigerator. I’ve been here nearly a year.

We did not have a good experience with our designer [name removed]. We felt pushed into buying things that we would not have bought. Also, she did not tell us the pros and cons of the materials we were picking out. If she would have been honest, we would have chosen different counter tops. Not given a proper amount of time to make such permanent decisions. Once we walked out the door, that was it, no changes can be made. We the consumers deserve the right to have at least one week to make such big decisions. This is not our first house that we have built in here. I have stated this before but obviously no change was made. This is a huge disappointment with Minto.

The only thing that I am very upset about (and just found out) is that the dog park, which is touted as a big amenity, is ONLY golf cart accessible. It never occurred to me that I could not park there with my vehicle and it is quite a trek with a dog from the closest parking lot, which is Publix.
