Actually found it pretty easy and love the house just some things werent their that were suppose to be like the support handles in the showers....to us that was a big miss.....Now as far as [name removed] and Mastercare they responded quickly and efficiently.....got it fixed as will as a mirror issue fairly quick. Still need to get phoenix or someone to hook up the extra hots spots......

The purchase price was still publicly advertised on [name removed]'s website at $10,000 lower but we were charged $10,000 more as we were told the new price was coming out at the beginning of the next month. Complaining about this we were told buy at the new price or someone else will. As we waited a long time to have this house we paid that extra. Also the landscape is horrible as we had 2 dead and ugly palm trees planted in front of the house. [name removed] has now to replace one of us and many around our house. We feel that we were disadvantaged by the lack of building quality. They even wrongly installed the garage door which we found not compliant with the building plan. While we informed the builder that the AC pipe outside might be cut by the landscape people we were told that this is well known and happen but he can do nothing about this. Also we were promised a nice backyard landscaping to provide privacy but nothing was planted on our side of the ravine. We don't even have any palm trees in the backyard then we don't have the luxurious [name removed] feel looking out. Additionally no landscaping has been made between both sides of the house so we have direct few into the neighbors' houses. Consequently we have been disappointed on many aspects of this process.

Once a problem was found and reported, it was taken care of within a few days. The service people arrived on time or if running late called, completed the repair to my satisfaction.

This response is by no means an all inclusive list of my likes and dislikes (the list is lengthy). But I did not like being rushed into a closing when the home was haphazardly thrown together just to meet a quota. The closing date (15 May 24) was one of the first in the area of new construction. On the closing date all required documents and payments. The bank had a technical problem in transmitting the money and didn't get it resolved until 5:20 PM. But because it was after 5pm everyone left at 5pm. I was told that I could not have the keys (despite paying my deposits and receiving written approval of the loan) because the money did not transfer before 5pm. There was no mention of this 5pm rule. I was not allowed to enter my home until the [name removed] team scheduled my official key presentation until 4:30pm on the following day. This was too late for me to bring in my belongings and I would have to wait until 17 May 24 to move in. This was unacceptable and a deplorable way to treat a customer who just paid you $379, 000.00 for a shoddily built home. Also I was really disillusioned to find out that the seller paid 0 closing costs. Everything was an add on. For a house built in this time to be built without options to change was incomprehensible. It was like building a house in the 1980's. The only modern implements were internet and coaxial connections. Contracts with the 2 inept companies for internet (AT&T and Spectrum) gave them full reign to treat customers like dog poop. They tear up our lawns and cause the lawn to die and still not able to provide service. Dedicated conduit was unusable with new and temporary lines causing significant landscape damage until permanent lines could be installed. This is going to require a formal investigation into the contracts between [name removed] and AT&T and Spectrum. (Significantly more to follow.}. I liked how informative [name removed] was. I wish I knew the right questions to ask. I moved in but I was still in a construction zone. I could not access my mailbox because the USPS was unable to deliver mail to the mailboxes due to construction. Seriously? The mailboxes were in a construction zone that was even in a less developed section than me??? So bad that the USPS (who delivers despite rain, sleet, snow and dead of night} were not able to deliver mail (yet I was forced to close on a building that was not acceptable to live in. Despite the occupancy permit. This only scratches the surface. More to follow

We had the best experience from beginning to end with all the wonderful individuals who assisted us along the way. [name removed] our salesman was both professional and informative throughout. [name removed] in Sales was also a shining star with her follow up to questions and inquiries. [name removed] in design was very helpful during that process assisting us with her knowledge. [name removed] our construction manager was a blessing to us. He kept us informed weekly with photographs of progress and emails. He would call when needed and was available for us whenever we had concerns or questions. We cannot extend our thanks enough to [name removed] because he made the process so worry-free with his knowledge, caring and exceptional professionalism. Everyone should have a [name removed] on their [name removed] because he exemplifies the high level of professionalism within Minto. He has always gone "over & beyond" for us which was so appreciated. After closing when [name removed] was done, we were introduced to [name removed] in MasterCare and he has been so professional and attentive to any of our minor issues we have had since our closing. He has picked up the baton from [name removed] and we feel so comfortable with him as our MasterCare contact.

The closing was confusing. No clear communication. Also we closed on the 7th and they did not book us in for the home owners meeting. Was told we could not use the facilities until Monday when they could meet with us. Ridiculous. In fact I found her rude. Ended up going in on the 7th without an appointment and they squeezed us in.

Liked that we were provided with this service and do appreciate, nice selling point, says alot about the builder. Thank you. Appreciate we have an assigned Representative also. Dislike, but understand the rep can not control the vendors, on when they are available or the self quality control of the vendors. EX: Mirrors were replaced and corrected but took 2 visits.
