I like my new home. I had a few problems [name removed] installed leaked in garage and plumbers had to repair and remove. I was upset this was the result. HVAC pipes were cracked and caused my utility room to have water issues. It took multiple times for contractors to identify the problem. I am still checking every day to see if the water comes back. I still need a drain outside. My floors had haze look and paint chips. Contractors came back multiple times.

The layout of the home was the first thing that my wife and I fell in love with. As we picked options, we picked what we loved about how we envisioned it. And each week, the home started looking better and better. And when we made the pre-closing walk-through, we were BLOWN AWAY by how stunningly gorgeous the house turned out to be -- exceeding our wildest dreams. [name removed] is the textbook example of a building project superintendant.

Customer services was very good- [name removed] was excellent. I had around 50 hollow tiles that I wanted them to be replaced so they offered to inject some kind of substance under. After doing some research, this would even be worse. So I hope I don't have issues in the future.

However, the quality of the work by contractors appeared to be lacking, as there were numerous items to be fixed. Although most were fixed by the final walk-through, the clear lack of pride in doing an excellent job was apparent, especially with the electrical contractors.

I wish there was a bit more attention to detail with regards to some of the contractors [name removed] has chosen to work with, but I'm understanding also that nothing can be 100% perfect. Everyone assigned to work with us during our build, and after its completion, has treated us like we are their priority! We realize there are at least 3,600 homes in our community, but the [name removed] team treats us like individuals and quickly resolve any minor issues we have encountered.

It was difficult to lose my sales rep ([name removed]) and my builder ([name removed]) a month or two before closing. They were both truly amazing, and I felt very heard and valued during the process (even when life through me a few curve balls in the middle of it all). So I had a sense of trust with them. Developing good working relationships is very important to me, so going through the last steps with new folks was a little hard on me. That being said, [name removed] and [name removed] were good to work with, so that helped.

The whole experience from sales, design, my project manager and warranty were beyond excellent!!! This has been our very best experience in a new build !!! I cannot say enough good things and be happier from the beginning of the process up to the warranty, I felt that the staff the builder had in place supported through every single stage; all questions & concerns were quickly addressed and I felt like all staff went above & beyond to ensure that this was a very smooth process!!! Minto is the Best Builder !!!

The initial contractor was not helpful or friendly. He did not give us weekly updates/photos as promised at the initial meeting. He always made us feel like we were bothering him. Very poor attitude. We chose and purchased a beautiful home and we're treated very poorly.

[name removed] [name removed] Loan Staff [name removed], etc. were equally helpful in our obtaining financing. Most important was our Building Superintendent [name removed] was simply stellar in explaining the building process, was very well organized with the process, provided us with building updates and pictures of progress each week without being requested to do so, he promptly replied to all of our inquiries and addressed any issues we had expeditiously. He was clearly 'Above And Beyond' any building Super we've had with other builders we've had on our previous build projects and he was very meticulous in ensuring Excellent Quality in the finished product. [name removed] is an Excellent Ambassador for [name removed] and should be commended for his efforts!

Most of all, I felt safe with him onsite to handle any part of the process while I was home in the midwest.
