It takes quite some time to get issues resolved. Our issue with our warped kitchen cabinet and our shower value took weeks to get resolved. They rescheduled each multiple times.

I had to work to get a few items fixed. It seems that Mastercare has changed its policies and is pushing back. Currently my largest dissatisfier is that my trim has split at the seams throughout the house and only 2 seams qualify to be repaired.

My Sales guy, [name removed], was outstanding. Our designer for our "B's" ([name removed] I think) was a wonderful help to us when we were stumped on tile to choose etc. . . Last but not least is [name removed]- I can't say enough awesome things about him- he sent us our updates every week, without fail- He was extremely helpful when we needed referrals and he called or texted back-every time- without fail. We have had some really bad experiences with contractors and builders in the past and [name removed] is by far the very best. You should give him a raise and then double it- you don't want to lose your best guy!

Coming from someone who has built houses in the past, [name removed] is the best field superintendent I have ever dealt with. Very conscientious, responsive, keen sense of detail, and really cares about the quality of the job. [name removed] needs to hire more [name removed]!!! [name removed] was an outstanding salesman and knew his job well. It was a pleasure and very lucky to have him help us with the beginning of the process. Need to hire him back!! I was not pleased with [name removed] of [name removed] [name removed]. I found [name removed] very abrasive to talk and reason with and if she had been there at the beginning, I would have walked away. [name removed] gave me an enormous amount of grief over hiring a closing attorney, which is my right to have one. She was not communicative in letting me know that there was an issue with making my home insurance payment and as a result my insurance was about to be cancelled in a matter of two days. When I called about it, she did not respond about the issue and I had to call to find out what was going on.

My Mastercare [name removed] has ben ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. However, wasting days on end to get a flooring issue was absolute BS. You all have the records. The back and forth and me having to wait a four hour window for a [name removed] mess up is absurd. Stop cutting corners for the amount of money we spend on these homes.

We really liked the new Vista floor plans and the location of the lots offered. The experience of Group As and Bs with the staff at the Sales Center was amazing. Sadly, neither [name removed] nor [name removed] who took care of us work there anymore. To the extent that the [name removed] process would allow, we were able to semi-customize a few features like our pool, an upstairs sliding glass door, and rough in utilities for outside amenities on the lanai and balcony. I was also able to rough in utilities for the Crow's Nest for a future bar. I'd like to state that we would rate the builder, [name removed] well over 10 of 10. He is outstanding and understands construction very well, but also most importantly, he understands each customer. He made the house building process a real joy for us. [name removed] could not have made a better choice to build these Vistas. I've heard the exact same things from others who were fortunate enough to have [name removed] be their builder.

Visiting during the build we saw our home up close and personal. I have 2 family members who visited and were impressed with what they saw. I had a private inspection company, on 13 Jan, do his thing and he found just 2 issues. He didn't find a handful of things as other homeowners have had found. Our significant issues have been the lack of a response to email and our hvac issue. Rather than focusing on why my ac compressor was very loud in the house minto and triad focused on the decibel level. Eventually, [name removed] and us worked it out. Our most significant suggestion is to combine the A and B. Unless money is no object the current system is ok. But for us we had to go on the conservative side on the A bc we had no idea what was coming with the B. One can't get all they want on the A side no having a clue what's coming with the B.I hope one day you'll stop doing this to us buyers.

We’ve had electrical problems in the master bathroom even after Adams Electrical has been back several times the problems continue with the outlets. The drywall joints cracked after the first cold night after we’ve been here only 5 months. This isn’t acceptable. We requested a downspout extension because of staining on our concrete and we were denied. We’re disappointed in [name removed] from a build quality standpoint. We building superintendent [name removed] and MasterCare rep [name removed] have been great to work with.

We changed lots on her a couple times and she was very helpful to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our lot. [name removed] in the design center was extremely helpful in making sure we coordinated all of our design selections to our satisfaction to get everything just right. And [name removed] was a fantastic builder. Her provided regular updates throughout the build. He explained everything in detail and was on top of all aspects of the build at all times. His attention to detail provided us with an amazing house. We love it! Overall, we could not have asked for a better process

The landscape experience could improve. The home was landscaped during winter time and the bushes and palm trees were/are look like leftovers from the season. 3 trees are dead, will submit workorder for those. The bushes on the side of the house are left with one large gap due to not being properly spaced.

I liked [name removed] our Master Care [name removed] and his boss [name removed]. Took excellent care of my concerns. Not happy with yard maintenance. I cut my grass at times because we will go weeks during growing season without yard maintenance. I pay to much of an HOA for this lacking service. I know we have a big community. It’s only going to get bigger. This is my number one concern about Mintos Communities. Other than that I feel the houses overall are good quality. To close together. The HOA needs to crack down on the speeding problem we have from Mintos workers and residents. Speed humps should be considered. 40-45 MPH in 25 MPH areas is not acceptable! This might not be your concern, but should be. Please pass the word. I’m not sure if I would buy in a Mintos community again. Pool is way over crowded as we are only at 2/3 of the building out currently. A second pool should have been considered for the first 3500 homes. Again just another reason not to buy. Live in learn as they say. Once the market changes and home prices go back up. We probably will move.

Our house was so dirty at closing, every time I cleaned something, I found something else wrong with our house. Nail holes in our brand new floor from tearing out our living room ceiling right before closing, cracked pedistool sink in powder room, scratches on toilet from tile being removed from shower in spare bathroom that was put up in correctly, scratches on cabinets, we have a list, however, 2 months later and [name removed] is still working on correcting everything that was not done correctly in the first place.

There were a lot of choices at the design center to make our home our own. The building process went very smooth, and our contractor was very nice to work with. We had very good follow-up whenever we had an issue or problem after we moved in.

There were a lot of choices at the design center to make our home our own. The building process went very smooth, and our contractor was very nice to work with. We had very good follow-up whenever we had an issue or problem after we moved in.
