Overall I have been extremely satisfied with the process from start to finish. The sales team was friendly, helpful, and did an excellent job guiding us through the purchase; the builder was in close contact with us and was always responsive and friendly - I believe he did an excellent job managing the build of our home; and the closing and follow-on service has been very responsive and helpful. I look forward to living here and enjoying this community for many years!

It’s all just preferences and opinions on how things could be done differently. I think it is hard on employees to be so reliant on survey scores and I found the purchase process to be a bit of a surprise with the amount of money that needs to be spent on top of base price but in all not a bad experience.

Vendors perform mediocre or poor quality work, and [name removed] says, "You have been serviced". Have been in the house for six months and just recently finished all of the issues found at move in. This has been a constant disruption to our lives and has left us unable to use parts of our home repeatedly.

Within weeks after signing the Open A contract, I wanted to upgrade my home choice. However, [name removed] required a full default of all my deposit if I wanted to make that choice. I assumed and continue to accept responsibility for not delaying my initial contractual commitment. However, I feel that [name removed] should have been wiling to compromise somewhat. Me recommendation to prospective buyers is to wait and sleep on their decision to buy for at least a week or two, no matter how much they want to buy.

Struggle with MasterCare represenative. I have to continually remind her of items on the list and to get updates. It is exhausting and frustrating. My neighbors call and they have immediate attention, I email and get a return email with a document that says basically sorry too late you should have caught that before you signed. I have had to really push to get things completed that were before we moved in. It is very frustrating. Everything else is awesome.

Starting with our stay n play, we booked online, overall the cottage we stayed in was great, however the communication with sales team was non existent, to help us navigate the community and sell us on the community, we met friendly strangers at The Bar and Chill that helped us and took us on a tour of the community and that is what sold us. Once we decided to buy, sales was never forthcoming with information, we always had to what felt like pry for information. As for the Builder [name removed] he was great, kept us informed, updated on any issue, took care of issues even before we found them. As for closing very nice people, lots of info for that day and a little rushed but overall all good with that.

The complex process of building a home is laid out in easy to digest evolutions/steps. The team is very accommodating and clear in communications. I’m in the real estate business and appreciate the Minto brand (my 2nd [name removed] home by the way!)

The most impressive part of the whole experience was working with [name removed], my contract manager, who was always so delightful, communicable, always willing to listen to me and answer any questions I had. She made me feel like I was the only house she was building which is very special and rare today.

His videos and phone calls helped us know about the progress of the build and it was reassuring that he would answer all of our questions in a professional and timely manner.

Likes - Amenities and friendships we’ve built Dislikes - Home quality meets minimum standards. For the money we spent on the house, that’s disappointing. The landscaping between our homes in Phase 8 isn’t what was told to us when we bought. It would be nice if Minto could plant more bushes and trees behind the villas in Phase 8.

They are great to work with. We are near our 1 year anniversary and appointments have been made to fix some small things. We are out of town now and neighbors said our sprinkler system has been on for over an hour. I called the emergency number and they said they would contact the appropriate people. Neighbor called back and said sprinkler was now off and I called back and told them. About 30 minutes later neighbor called again and said sprinklers on again. I called emergency number again. Different person said I need to make a work order. I told her the previous person I talked to said they would contact the person to check into it. This person said it was up to me to make out the work order. I said OK but I asked if someone would get the work order since it was Sunday and today is Memorial Day. She then said she would make out the work order. I did receive an email of the order. I do not know if someone was going to check the issue out or wait until Tuesday. We are out of town until the first week of June. Plus work was done last week in our front yard and we have not been told what was going on. Large hole in yard, pipes sticking out, pictures show dirt is being washed away by sprinkler. Would like an update but not sure we will get it

My representative that actually sold me my home was not very workable or helpful, the issues with making reservations for pools and amenities is very much a hassle. However, overall, I love my new home and I love my community.

Everything was excellent from the contract point though to move-in. Any questions that we had about the contract were answered quickly and clearly and we were kept fully informed of progress throughout the construction process by our builder. We especially liked the fact that we received pictures along with the commentary with the weekly construction updates. We also liked the "meet your builder" session where we were provided with descriptions of the key features of the construction, and the fact that we met with our builder again to go through the house prior to it's completion. In that session, we were able to see the quality of construction and get answers to any questions that we had.

Didn’t like the amount of deposits and number of deposits, limited selections (for example gold fixtures and hardware that would MATCH), once we signed a contract, we were rushed through the selection process, rushed to close, dead plants at move in, and cashmere paint.
