It was disappointing on quality of some of the trades such as cabinets, but problems were addressed. Home inspection shows areas missing attic insulation, roofing issues, and poor quality of mortaring of tiles which we hope will be resolved.

Our building supervisor, [name removed], accommodated our requests to visit as often as we could during the build which we were very appreciative of. Our sales agent, [name removed] allowed us to walk thru the sales center to start looking at samples for our B options prior to our B options date, this was very beneficial for us to be able to see what options were available. It would have been very difficult to see the B options for the first time and try to pick them all in one day, so we were very grateful to be able to see them ahead of time

Communication is poor and the turnover in staff unbelievable. In the first 6 months of ownership we have had 3 or 4 mastercare reps and no one has notes information on what has been approved and what has been completed etc. A system needs to be in place for when staff leaves get fired.

Loved that the construction was transparent at different stages. Builder went above and beyond to correct issues identified. Worked with us to correct a "splash" of gunite on our lanai from the neighbors pool install that could not be removed.

They don't have customer service for things that went wrong after moving in. We moved in mid December 2024-now May 23-2025. We have had 5 items that needed to be fixed. 1) Outside facet-finally fixed 3 weeks ago. 2) Sliding doors-Very hard to open/close. They came out 3 times and finally last week they fixed it. 3) Crack window-still is not fixed. 4) Bathroom-Water Closet light does not work-loose connection-fix 1 month ago, went out again and still needs to be replace. 5) Kitchen Cabinet are uneven in one section-Still as of May 23 not fixed.

[name removed] has not been as responsive to our needs as we were expecting. Changes in the Mastercare program- not covering cosmetic issues, appliance issues, and very outstanding tickets of 6 months or more are issues. Very unresponsive Mastercare rep with no communication is very disappointing.

I was in another [name removed] community and their MasterCare was excellent. Here they are horrible. Asked to change rep and told no. Not customer oriented here.

We liked the weekly updates and the few issues that we have reported have been resolved in a timely manner. One thing I wish is that you would have used just a little higher end quality of cabinets. Also I didn't like the fact that wood was not used entirely throughout the house. Some of the enterior walls are metal beams vs. wood which wood is so much better when hanging pictures. It is a lot sturdier. We lost a really nice picture because the handyman hanging the picture in the wall missed going through the thin metal beam. It is a flimsy metal beam vs wood which is sturdier. The cables going through the roof all the way through the foundation was great. Overall we are extremely happy with our place.

It took a long time to get a lot and we couldnt get a straight answer when we were #2 or 3 for a lot for months and months. Then all of a sudden "we have a lot". Minto should operate like other companies and allow people to choose lots when they sign up for homes. The communication has to be better.

Landscaping looks absolutely horrible. I realize we had a bad winter but we are told only certain flowers but other sections have all different flowers. We were given a price to change color of lantana but across street they are getting way more of same color I requested for a lower cost. Makes no sense to me. Way back weeds are over two feet tall. Still waiting on Mastercare to come and actually fix items on the house. Ac/ furnance is a cheap unworkable in all rooms setup. Our Mastercare person. Keeps testing but his people do not show up. Very unfair to our Mastercare person! They need more employees. Expensive house cheap workmanship.

The standing water off our lanai is supposedly "wetlands", but this whole area was "wetlands" before the development was started. Should have done a better job of grading the preserves to get water to drain properly.

Mastercare is slow to respond and schedule required work. In general, I find the quality of the house to be good. The only major exception is the kitchen, laundry and bathroom cabinets. They are very low quality, regardless of the level that selected at time of purchase. We’ve had numerous problems with cosmetics on our cabinets, and it took a long time to resolve. Some of the repair visits even resulted in additional damage to the cabinet surfaces as they were being worked on or replaced. We also have a problem with the corbel placement in our front entrance area. It is dragging out forever, and Minto has not come up with an appropriate or acceptable plan to resolve.

Since we moved in, we have to have three breakers replaced due to being to either being defective or to small to carry the load. We have had to call out about our garage door making a horrible noise to which someone came out and spayed something on the rails which seemed to help about a day, so I bought some white lightning grease from Home Depot and take care of it myself. Lastly, we reported our water coming out of our faucets containing black gunk and small waste particles. I even sent a video. A consultant called and set up a date to come out several days later; however, we had a family emergency and flew to Denver during this time. I forgot about the appt cause I was worried and focusing on something else. I received an email from the person and responded to set up another time due to the situation. She never replied, and honestly, I am tired of dealing with Minto and there reps. We once owned a home in Loveland, Colorado that was a DR Horton built subdivision and to tell you the truth, we received better service from them. In regard to the water issue, I found a local company that came out and installed a whole house filter system ($1,850.00) that has taken care of the problem. I really don't expect much from my feedback since it seems to be the Minto way: delay, delay, and the customer just gives up.

The time between our house being fully constructed/finished and closing was more than 90 days which is extremely frustrating. While our (second) builder took over the project and was great, he was unable to address one major issue with the laundry room cabinets being hung too low to accommodate our washer/dryer combo; so I had to hire the cabinet crew myself to move them up three inches . Otherwise; we're very please with our home.
