He is such a good guy and an awesome, knowledgeable builder. He made us feel valued and listened to. I can’t imagine having a better experience with a builder than we did with [name removed].

I have not had an important issue resolved. Many have tried to explain to [name removed] the issue with my front door. Due to the location of my house, the door swing and mount of light, my front door is extremely dangerous. The force of the swing of the door with the slightest wind has put multiple gashes in my door. This is minor but the door has been repaired multiple times before I lives in and then sat with a huge gash right in the middle of it from the time I closed in August until December before it was replaced and then 2 weeks later before it was painted. This is the minor issue, the major issue is that someone is going to get hurt because when you go to open it, without your knowledge the wind grabs it as soon as you open the door and it yanks you out of the front entrance. Either I or a guest of mine is going to get hurt. The only resolution to mitigate future damage to door or someone getting hurt when they go face first to the concrete patio is to put a screen around my small patio to virtually stop the wind. My house is possibly the only one with this issue die to the location with no buildings for wind resistance and door swing design. I have reached out to my master care rep, he is now gone, my builder who is out due to injury and now my sales rep who has tried his best to get some resolution. This issue has been going on since August. I was then told these door stops would last the two years of my home warranty. Wrong answer!!! I don’t want a fix that is temporary until warranty is over and this does not stop the door from yanking slow out of the house face first. A big medical bill is a lot higher than a small screen enclosure. Just trying to mitigate [name removed]’s responsibility and get this resolved.

Overall, our experience with [name removed] from first visit being greeted at Sales Center, to our sales rep, [name removed], to our design rep, [name removed], to our builder, [name removed], to all Closing staff and team, and to our Mastercare rep, [name removed] has been a very good experience. I very much appreciated [name removed] senior leadership stepping in when necessary to make things right and making process improvements going forward. I have learned some additional items during the Mastercare process since closing through today, which I would like to provide [name removed] senior leadership with some constructive feedback for their review and attention. Not sure if this is an issue with other Cabana Bay model floor plans, but there seems to be an electrical design blueprint flaw that occurs for our specific floor plan, which is the Cabana Bay A, [name removed], Elev: A, Swing: R. First instance occurs with the Master Bathroom specific to the Vanity Sink Outlets. When we selected our Group A options, we added an extra outlet ELE100 in the master bathroom between the two sinks and then in our Group B options, we upgraded our faucet sink fixtures to BPLB075 and expected to have the two outlets at each side of the sinks and one in the middle. The Group B selected option changed from the included 4" plumbing fixtures to an 8" plumbing fixtures, when this 8" fixture option is selected, and the electrical design blueprint did not change which caused the electrical outlet on the left side of left sink to be directly in front with the left faucet handle rendering it unusable to plug anything into it and potential hazard. In my personal opinion, this is something that should be addressed under Mastercare to be remediated and for future builds either build in process steps to edit electrical design plan if any 8" plumbing fixtures are selected during Group B options or remove all 8" plumbing as selectable options for the Master Bathroom in the Cabana Bay model plan. Second instance occurs in Master Bedroom area related to Master Bedroom His/Hers Closet Doors. This could be remediated a couple of different ways, one being electrical. The bi-fold closet doors in master bedroom should open away from the electrical light switch to operates the light inside the closet. At first, we thought just one side was not installed properly and requested to switch directions, but then found out that both closet doors needed to be flipped to meet the blueprint design plan which still resulted in one of the closet doors opening towards the light switch and not away from it which results in someone not being able to turn on and off the lights without going around the bi-fold doors when opened. Yes, this item is minor in comparison to the first instance above, but it is worth noting that this is not how other Cabana Bay models were shown in online walkthrough videos which showed the electrical outlets as per current design plan but both doors opened away from light switch which is now different in new plan. If changing closet door direction now in new design plan should reconsider where the electrical light switches are located for the master closets or go back to original design plan for master closet door direction. Definitely happy to discuss in more details for any clarifications needed to help make improvements for the future.

We wanted to install a bidet in our bathrooms, however there are no electrical outlets in the bathrooms and if we try to install one, then warranty is voided as soon as we break the tape to the water line. Also the water lines are specific to minto's so installation may crimp the line. We need a little longer water line.

We wanted to install a bidet in our bathrooms, however there are no electrical outlets in the bathrooms and if we try to install one, then warranty is voided as soon as we break the tape to the water line. Also the water lines are specific to minto's so installation may crimp the line. We need a little longer water line.

Did have a few issues with my home and [name removed] has previously & currently working with me to get those issues resolved, they really do want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase & have been meticulous in that process. Also, my advisor, superintendent from [name removed] has been wonderful. I'm not just yet a full time resident but [name removed] has worked with me to get my issues resolved on my visits, can't be happier! I have a beautiful home, [name removed] made & continues to make the whole process enjoyable and easy, thank you!
