Purchasing our new home with minto because of [name removed] it gave me piece of mind. Since day one [name removed] has shown how dedicated he is on creating a fantastic home for my family. From the start he would keep us on track with work that have been completed and what is on the list to get done. [name removed] dedication to building my home make me feel comfortable and he would very trust worthy. After my house was completed he made it his obligation to access every fault and resolve all issues that were missed or those that were pointed out from us his top priority. This is my second home purchased built by [name removed], the quality of the homes and its construction is awesome as well as the design of the homes is gorgeous. We had a very great experience with our first home acquired from a Minto's community development in Sunrise and when we decided to move what better choice than buy our new home again built by them in [name removed], super happy with our home and service received from [name removed]!!!

What I disliked was 4 weeks after I closed I had not moved in my house yet, and I was back and forth. There was an issue with my front bathroom. It wasn’t flushing properly, I called and [name removed] came out looked at the toilet, asked if I had a plunger I said no I’ve not moved in yet I have nothing in the house. He said he would go look for a plunger and come back. I never seen or heard from him again. And I don’t care for him being the person on the team for my home. Not professional at all.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the builder ([name removed]) offered a vast array of customized upgrade options which enabled me to spec things out and have the house come out exactly as I wanted it to. The representative at the sales center ([name removed]) as well as the builder ([name removed]) were easily accessible and great to work with. Whenever I had any questions or concerns, there was someone available to help me out and my experience thus far has been nothing short of outstanding!

Sales experience was agreeable and fairly straight forward. We received great support from [name removed] and [name removed] at the design center. Information about extra and next steps were clear and well communicated. Construction started swiftly and we had good communication with our construction rep through you the initial phases. It became a bit more complicated to get answers and clear indications once we got to the interior construction of the home. The multitude of subcontractors used with an appearance of not much oversight other than scheduling has been a great source of stress. We as the homeowner pointed to most of the deficiencies during construction and were not provided a clear path to resolution. The industrial type of production of the home construction was not a pleasant experience and to this day most of the defects I. The house can be attributed to the weird sequence of work and heavy production pace. The team were able to resolve most of our complaints prior to closing but not without arguments and multiple follow ups. Master Care have been responsive so far and we are pleased with the response so far. 2 weeks after move in we had a roof leak that will generate much additional clean up and restoration inside of the house and this is clearly an inconvenience especially since we had pointed to issues/cracking in the roof tile/cement at the exact location of the leak and we’re told it had been addressed.

I liked the quality materials and the customer service I received along the way. I did not like not the inability to choose my structural options (I really wanted a gas stove and did not need a junction box in the floor). I also didn’t like the increased rate if you wanted to go with a different lender (20% down even on FHA?!). For those with dreams of homeownership that may not have 20% down it felt as if your choices were made for you.

We understand that the builder is definitely busy, but there are still some small ongoing items that need to be addressed. Warranty Customer Care personnel are awesome. Some items like sidewalk rework and street lighting that are still not working take to long to address. It is my understanding these types of issues fall under the HOA, not Master Care warranty. However, it would be nice if these items are taken care of in a timely manner, .

For the time that it took the build the home and the coat paid for the home the quality of the finishes and the work done by the various contractors are sub par. Electric is no good. Dry walls and paint are of the cheapest quality and finish almost like they only primed the wall. A lot of misaligned pieces and finishes

At first, our builder was responsive to the issues and fixes that were identified. However, she then became non-responsive and did not address some of the issues that were identified pre-closing. We are now working with Master Care to help fix these issues and restore our confidence in Minto. We are not very pleased that it has been over 6 months and there are issues that are still unresolved that were acknowledged by the builder.

I liked the amazing costumer service from master care and always trying to make the best of it . What I don’t like overall is that there are lots of issues that should be avoided with a good quality inspection from minto before delivery the home and avoid the hassle now trying to fix them . Overall all it was a pretty good experience. Sales agent was great. Our builder didn’t have great communication until the last quarter of the build, when it improved. Our biggest concerns developed on or after closing. Something was used across our main floor tiles (which were highly upgraded) and the whole main floor has scratches on it (yet to be resolved). On our move in day, we noticed paint drops across the entire upstairs in every room, where paint touch ups were done (this has been resolved). We are also concerned that our hvac might be leaking, and we have light outlets which don’t work (yet to be resolved). We are also a little surprised with some of the HOA restrictions regarding fencing in a property as we are still waiting for approval, and fencing a home should be able to be done immediately, since we have small children and pets. Our experience by no means has been bad, but there are definitely things which could be improved upon.

I specifically asked for 45-70 day notice of completion to get my previous home on the market with proper timing and was given 30 day notice. This caused me to list my home and lose appx $30K due to it being a holiday week and needing to close within 30 days. I never asked for a specific date but at least 6-8 weeks notice

Home was not built to standards. Multiple ongoing issues that have not been fixed or attempted to be fixed since move-in, constant issues with minto and mastercare to try and schedule appointments and fix our home since it was built incorrectly. Terrible in person, communication and customer service with phone calls, and interactions with any employee.

I liked how easy it was from the beginning. Everything was explained up front when we were looking at [name removed] to build our home. [name removed] was helpful with the start of the foundation, to the completion and still after we closed on our home. Since taking possession, we learned that several things were left unfinished, or done incorrectly. Rooms are not square. Ceiling and room size are not per selected floorplan. Equipment not per selected options (eg HVAC). Pool equipment installed on wrong side of the house. Electrical installation does not match ap[proved floorplans. Incorrect pavers in patio. Sliding glass doors installed defective and incomplete, still missing parts after replacement (one SGD panel still to be replaced). Roof tiles broken, reported prior to closing (roof inspected via drone at my own expense), was told all repaired, after new inspection via drone (again at my expense) we still have the same broken tiles. [name removed] is not present to check on warranty work performed by subcontractors. Left up to homeowner to check that all is done correctly which is unacceptable because homeowner does not have the technical skills to confirm that repairs or replacements are made per specifications. Had to pay for a 3rd party inspector to review all work by subcontractors that Mastercare should have reviewed on their own, on behalf of homeowner. Punch list is about one year old, some of the original items have yet to be addressed. Quality of kitchen appliances included in the Estates models is unimpressive, and problematic to say the least (eg melting plastic knobs (??) on cooktop, oven shutting off on its own, no light in microwave).

It is not the warranty service or the customer care that I dislike. Rather, it is the finishes of the home. I feel like [name removed] could have done a better job by stay on top of the subs more, from drywall, stucco, to painter. Overall the finishes of my house is far worst than the apartment my company builds in Pompano Beach.

What I disliked was 4 weeks after I closed I had not moved in my house yet, and I was back and forth. There was an issue with my front bathroom. It wasn’t flushing properly, I called and [name removed] came out looked at the toilet, asked if I had a plunger I said no I’ve not moved in yet I have nothing in the house. He said he would go look for a plunger and come back. I never seen or heard from him again. And I don’t care for him being the person on the team for my home. Not professional at all.

Our builder and sales agent were phenomenal! It’s the Mastercare transition that has been subpar. We understand that the builder is definitely busy, but there are still some small ongoing items that need to be addressed. We shouldn’t have to haggle with our builder on items that were not up to standard upon build. Thank You,

Warranty Customer Care personnel are awesome. Some items like sidewalk rework and street lighting that are still not working take to long to address. It is my understanding these types of issues fall under the HOA, not Master Care warranty. However, it would be nice if these items are taken care of in a timely manner, .

At first, our builder was responsive to the issues and fixes that were identified. However, she then became non-responsive and did not address some of the issues that were identified pre-closing. We are now working with Master Care to help fix these issues and restore our confidence in Minto. We are not very pleased that it has been over 6 months and there are issues that are still unresolved that were acknowledged by the builder.

I liked the amazing costumer service from master care and always trying to make the best of it . What I don’t like overall is that there are lots of issues that should be avoided with a good quality inspection from minto before delivery the home and avoid the hassle now trying to fix them . But overall and very happy and I’m very grateful with master care costumer service

Home was not built to standards. Multiple ongoing issues that have not been fixed or attempted to be fixed since move-in, constant issues with minto and mastercare to try and schedule appointments and fix our home since it was built incorrectly. Terrible in person, communication and customer service with phone calls, and interactions with any employee.

It is not the warranty service or the customer care that I dislike. Rather, it is the finishes of the home. I feel like [name removed] could have done a better job by stay on top of the subs more, from drywall, stucco, to painter. Overall the finishes of my house is far worst than the apartment my company builds in Pompano Beach.

For the time that it took the build the home and the coat paid for the home the quality of the finishes and the work done by the various contractors are sub par. Electric is no good. Dry walls and paint are of the cheapest quality and finish almost like they only primed the wall. A lot of misaligned pieces and finishes

I specifically asked for 45-70 day notice of completion to get my previous home on the market with proper timing and was given 30 day notice. This caused me to list my home and lose appx $30K due to it being a holiday week and needing to close within 30 days. I never asked for a specific date but at least 6-8 weeks notice

Since taking possession, we learned that several things were left unfinished, or done incorrectly. Rooms are not square. Ceiling and room size are not per selected floorplan. Equipment not per selected options (eg HVAC). Pool equipment installed on wrong side of the house. Electrical installation does not match ap[proved floorplans. Incorrect pavers in patio. Sliding glass doors installed defective and incomplete, still missing parts after replacement (one SGD panel still to be replaced). Roof tiles broken, reported prior to closing (roof inspected via drone at my own expense), was told all repaired, after new inspection via drone (again at my expense) we still have the same broken tiles. [name removed] is not present to check on warranty work performed by subcontractors. Left up to homeowner to check that all is done correctly which is unacceptable because homeowner does not have the technical skills to confirm that repairs or replacements are made per specifications. Had to pay for a 3rd party inspector to review all work by subcontractors that Mastercare should have reviewed on their own, on behalf of homeowner. Punch list is about one year old, some of the original items have yet to be addressed. Quality of kitchen appliances included in the Estates models is unimpressive, and problematic to say the least (eg melting plastic knobs (??) on cooktop, oven shutting off on its own, no light in microwave).
