The condition of our home has remained above average after our first year of living in it. Very minor issues that need to be fixed secondary to settling. [name removed] has been exceptional to deal with for any work that we needed completed. Really makes the whole processes so much smoother than we ever anticipated. Unfortunately having to deal with heritage tile for repairs in our master bathroom has been a headache to say the least.

It has been a hassle trying to get our issues fixed. Some things were addressed quickly but we are still waiting on things to be fixed that were issues before we even closed on the home. Also, some issues we told were fixed but they actually weren't just so we would stop inquiring about them.

There wasn't a single-thing that I disliked about my purchasing experience with [name removed]. My sales rep from [name removed], [name removed], was INCREDIBLE!!! From day one [name removed] made herself available via email, text and phone call. [name removed] only did [name removed] call me to update me about my house and the purchasing process she also called me periodically to ask about my family and not necessarily about home information. This created a friendship with my sales rep that after having moved in is still going strong today. [name removed] was thorough answering all our questions and concerns and was always available to erase any doubts we might have. I understand that the building and buying process is a team affair and this team could not be complete without [name removed]. If I could use one word to describe [name removed] it would be INTEGRITY. This man exudes and exemplifies integrity and honesty. [name removed] was our builder and we knew from the first day of meeting him that we hit the jackpot when it came to builders. [name removed] was always available to answer any questions we might have and was constantly and consistently updating us on our build with pictures and or phone calls. A couple of times on our visits to the house [name removed] met us at the door to show us around and keep us safe. [name removed], [name removed] and I were always on the same page when it came to completion of the house; [name removed] would not sacrifice quality in order to deliver a house early. We were very pleased to know that this was [name removed]'s stance on our home; it put us at ease knowing that we would not have any building issues after moving in. I wish everyone in [name removed] could experience having their home built by [name removed], words don't give justice to how amazing, professional, efficient and honest [name removed] was throughout this entire process. After move-in we met 2 gentleman named [name removed] and [name removed] from Minto/Mastercare. These two gentleman continued where [name removed] and [name removed] left off. [name removed] and [name removed] were polite, punctual and ready to complete any misgivings found in the house. Having all 4 of these people from [name removed] come in to my home and provide the same positive experience further proved to me that moving to [name removed] and purchasing a Minto Community home was definitely the right move.

I was blown away, how well my family were received and coaches throughout the process. Even with all the negative social media post we were not phased, our builder [name removed] reassured us all the way. We really felt that he took a personal interest in building our home. 3 of our children and myself are agents and we sold upwards of 100 pre construction home….still the experience we had was far more remarkable. This is the second time purchasing pre construction for ourselves any I must say we are happy we chose [name removed]. Thank you for giving us your most amazing builder!!!! We love [name removed].

My name was not put on the list the 1st time due to error on sales agent end and i received an apology and try again where as I was expecting a chance to pick a lot. it worked out overall and i did get something that helped but that was really stressful. the lottery thing is very stressful and iffy way to this type of purchase just to get in.

[name removed] was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had and was always prompt in her responses. [name removed] worked hard to make sure my questions were also answered especially regarding financing since my situation was particular regarding my closing costs. Even after closing, [name removed] is constantly checking in and addressing any concerns we have and making sure they are addressed and fixed. I consider myself very lucky to have gotten such a good team throughout this process and a star builder.

Likes: - I liked the ability to choose our finishes and work with a designer to help bounce ideas off of. We didn't feel like we were on our own to make all the interior decisions - I really liked our Super, [name removed]. He answered all of our questions and has made himself available as needed. You can tell he really cares about his job and made sure we were taken care of. - The follow ups we have since moving in to fix things has been nice. - Closing was easy. Dislikes: - The pressure to get a lot was insane. - There is so much information thrown at you when you close was overwhelming. Would be great to have a portal setup specifically for residents where they can: - Pay HOAs - Make requests to MasterCare - Have outlined steps of post closing processes like getting an ID badge, how to get your tags to get through the gate, adding someone to the callbox, finding your gate code, etc. - The house itself seems great so far, but we have been noticing some poor craftsmanship around the home. Caulking and painting have been sloppy all over the house. There have been some electrical issues that could have easily been caught if anyone took the time to check their work. There have been some cracked tiles that I'm sure were noticed but left as is after they were installed. The french doors that we upgraded in the sitting room are a disaster. The glass was scratched, the doors are not aligned, there are chips in the doors. Very shoddy job installing. Same with the front door. There is a gap in door where you can see outside. - We had ants in the walls at closing that were forcing their way into the home. They were eating holes in the caulking around the floor to get in. They were everywhere on the first floor.

Seems like things were rushed at the end. For example the beams are visible in two of the ceilings. Some of the doors will not close unless you place your weight against them. Tiles were cracked in multiple places.
