It's really hard to summarize the multitude of pros and cons as to our experience with [name removed]. The individuals that we have interacted with, specifically our Sales Person, Builder and Warranty/MasterCare [name removed] have been exceptional. However, the amount of time to remedy deficiencies in the home has been completely unacceptable. To be told that I have to "remind" a contractor to finish a repair or even start it is terrible professional ethic- we are still waiting on items from several calls that have not been remedied and [name removed] has not even stepped up to offer compensation or otherwise in the name of customer service. From this standpoint, I'd say [name removed] has not met their commitment to us and we would be hard-pressed to recommend the builder or have faith in their promises. I hope to hear from an executive from the organization to speak on this because I can't believe that this is how an organization of this caliber conducts business!

Closing was estimated to be the first quarter of 2023. Building was done earlier and I felt rushed to close. The paint on the walls are water base every figure print stays on.

I felt very attended to initially and now feel like we are having to follow up with vendors on our own as nothing is being scheduled. [name removed] is extremely responsive but it’s difficult to be responsible for calling businesses about work orders placed 6 months ago that still haven’t been resolved.

I loved my sales rep, [name removed]! She was absolutely incredible and was the very best thing about the entire process. [name removed] in the design center was very kind and accommodating when my countertop was on back order. Those were the only two pleasant experiences I had. I was misinformed about the square footage of the house I was buying. My house ended up being almost 300 square foot less than what I signed for. [name removed] did not offer any sort of accommodation for this huge mistake and minimized the effects this has on our home value. I lost my superintendent half way through the build and my house progress stalled for months with zero updates. My second superintendent, [name removed] was very rude and unprofessional to me, my husband and my elderly parents. She made my elderly mother cry. The house was built with terrible craftsmanship and they rushed to close my house by the end of the year (12/30) with so many things that were not and are still not repaired. I have heard no updates on the replacement of a cracked window I had to move in with. During the build, the workers left the doors wide open, left food, soda, cigarettes, trash and urine in my house. I could go on and on. This was a terrible experience with the exception of [name removed] and [name removed].

I like [name removed] as our builder. He managed to take over and make everything better. Sales gave us no updates throughout the build process. Our first Builder, [name removed] has zero construction knowledge and damaged [name removed] by being an employee there. [name removed] is the best thing that has happened to [name removed] in the last 15 months.

I like how many things are covered under the warranty. The staff has been really nice. It would be helpful to have more transparency around items that need to be fixed. Having a ticketing system that allows me to submit repair’s online and then track the progress to completion would be ideal.

Having to sign a rental/sales addendum then immediately after closing [name removed] removing that addendum from any new sales. It is in our opinion that this is highly unfair treatment. If [name removed] truly cared about keeping the integrity of the community as one made up of a majority homeowners they should have kept this policy across the board for all homes from the very beginning of the community. But alas, with interest rates up and sales down something had to be done to help boost those quarterly earnings. To make it right [name removed] should either reinstate the addendum clause for all homes or remove the clause completely from all homes including those that already closed. Also the fact that the concrete flooring in the garage was completely unfinished is kind of ridiculous.

For the year it was being built, I had stated that I was contingent of the sale of a current home in [name removed] and would like 45-60 days give or take notice so I could get my home on the market. When I was notified of a closing date it was less than 30 days. [name removed] only was this the week of Thanksgiving, but also not very courteous of a timeframe. Because of the short notice, I had to take a $20-30K hit on the sale of my home to get it under contract and closed in order to close with [name removed]. As a professional in the Real Estate industry and simply as a human being, this was not taken lightly.

The companies providing the work have too much work. They often have to reschedule 2 to 3 times before actually arriving at your home to fix whatever it is. Also, all of the interior paint is low quality - any small touch produces marks that can’t be removed.

The service unfortunately is horrible! It's been a while since we've sent in the list , since we moved in 7 months ago. We understand there is a delay in some inventory, like screens we are still waiting for. But some issues we had are being done and redone again and again so many times, and its only being screwed more and more, like 2x2 wall in master bathroom in particular. It was redone 5-6 times already and still not fixed! And every time we have to wait for each appointment for 3-4 weeks!!! Also big issue were our outlets. They are ridiculous ! You plug in vacuum cleaner and it goes off! You plug in iron- same story. The electrician came 5 times trying to fix it! The quality of material is horrible! Sick and tired of not being able to use my bathroom normally, every time people have to go upstairs to do the work, I clean it , they come again, and it repeats and repeats. I don't get why it can not be done from the first attempt???

Roof leaking. Water damage in master bedroom. Still missing screens for all windows. Paint quality is terrible. My house looks like it’s been lived in for 2 years instead of 6 months. Exterior electrical outlet doesn’t work.

I would expect a much greater quality of home for the price. Although the staff has been AMAZING and problems are getting fixed, there should not have been SO MANY things that need fixing. I have spent an INSANE amount of time scheduling and being home for vendors to fix things that should have been done correctly the first time.

Everything, I've had no introduction to the system and my contact person has not even spoken with me. It's been a nightmare as was the building process. My house is still waiting for windows 6 months after closing with several attempts to schedule and lies that window is ordered and never to be replaced. The stove is a joke and the refrigerator is detected because of the configuration of the appliance set up. My sliding door is defective, and no one wishes to address it. I have leaking roof with multiple broken tiles and broken sinks, multiple fractures on wall. The list goes on. There are no words to describe my disappointment

We still have the following items needed attention: Screen window missing for almost a year when we had the 1st walkthrough with promise to be installed. Sprinkler system has not been complete and water does reach the whole landscaping, Part of shabbery in the back fence unfinished or incompleted, No electric outlet on top of Cabinet kitchen, Felt Pad vents missing, Wet or water on South side of the house need attention and creating moisture and the plant.

Like: -The ability to visit the design center when needed. -The ability to visit the model homes. -The ability to pick and choose every item for the home. Ex: tile, hardware, cabinets etc. - -The updates from our Builder [name removed] and [name removed]. -The fact that [name removed] and [name removed] were able to step in just a couple months before closing and fix most of the mistakes and sloppy work overlooked by the previous builders. Dislike: The lottery to get a lot. No information nor lot size was given prior. We had no idea our backyard was going to be way smaller than the other communities until our Group A selection. I am extremely unhappy with the quality of work provided by the foreman that [name removed] continues to employ despite the numerous time we pointed out sloppy/ improper performance. We went through three builders before FINALLY getting [name removed] who was responsible for changing our experience from a very negative and stressful one to a more pleasant one. It is unfortunate that we had to go through three different builders to find a person who is clearly dedicated to their job, the customer service and genuinely cares for the proper construction of the build. From our experience and observation it is clear that most employees throughout the entire process are overloaded with work which is definitely a contributing factor to some of our negative experiences. I was very disappointed to learn throughout the process that [name removed] did not use county inspector throughout the build, instead these inspectors were hired by [name removed] which definitely makes the buyer question the integrity of these so called inspections. We were disappointed to see numerous inspected items pass inspection despite showing improprieties. We were very disappointed to continuously and still continue to find inconsistency throughout the build of our home when comparing it to identical model and elevation. For instance garage entry door opening different ways, thermostat location vary and the alarm display location vary. We are very dissatisfied with the quality of the paint. It is extremely cheap quality and non durable. We did not foresee having to hire our own painter to paint the whole interior of the house immediately after closing on a “ new construction build”.

They have no issue adapting to the crazy schedules of first responders and have gone above and beyond to help us with anything. If everyone had [name removed] and [name removed] as their go to people this company would have absolutely no issues with loyal customers.

Thé MasterCare service is taking too long to fix issues that need immediate attention. I had moved/closed on my house December 2021 with an unmatched Windows on the elevation and my sliding glass door damaged during installation I just had them fixed last week. I had the house inspected 2 weeks ago I emailed the report to MasterCare no one has reached out to me. I call [name removed] about the situation so far with no answer. My year end final walkthrough is coming up, no one as set up a date with me yet. I am really concerned.

Like: -The ability to visit the design center when needed. -The ability to visit the model homes. -The ability to pick and choose every item for the home. Ex: tile, hardware, cabinets etc. - -The updates from our Builder [name removed] and [name removed]. -The fact that [name removed] and [name removed] were able to step in just a couple months before closing and fix most of the mistakes and sloppy work overlooked by the previous builders. Dislike: The lottery to get a lot. No information nor lot size was given prior. We had no idea our backyard was going to be way smaller than the other communities until our Group A selection. I am extremely unhappy with the quality of work provided by the foreman that [name removed] continues to employ despite the numerous time we pointed out sloppy/ improper performance. We went through three builders before FINALLY getting [name removed] who was responsible for changing our experience from a very negative and stressful one to a more pleasant one. It is unfortunate that we had to go through three different builders to find a person who is clearly dedicated to their job, the customer service and genuinely cares for the proper construction of the build. From our experience and observation it is clear that most employees throughout the entire process are overloaded with work which is definitely a contributing factor to some of our negative experiences. I was very disappointed to learn throughout the process that [name removed] did not use county inspector throughout the build, instead these inspectors were hired by [name removed] which definitely makes the buyer question the integrity of these so called inspections. We were disappointed to see numerous inspected items pass inspection despite showing improprieties. We were very disappointed to continuously and still continue to find inconsistency throughout the build of our home when comparing it to identical model and elevation. For instance garage entry door opening different ways, thermostat location vary and the alarm display location vary. We are very dissatisfied with the quality of the paint. It is extremely cheap quality and non durable. We did not foresee having to hire our own painter to paint the whole interior of the house immediately after closing on a “ new construction build”.

The companies providing the work have too much work. They often have to reschedule 2 to 3 times before actually arriving at your home to fix whatever it is. Also, all of the interior paint is low quality - any small touch produces marks that can’t be removed.

The service unfortunately is horrible! It's been a while since we've sent in the list , since we moved in 7 months ago. We understand there is a delay in some inventory, like screens we are still waiting for. But some issues we had are being done and redone again and again so many times, and its only being screwed more and more, like 2x2 wall in master bathroom in particular. It was redone 5-6 times already and still not fixed! And every time we have to wait for each appointment for 3-4 weeks!!! Also big issue were our outlets. They are ridiculous ! You plug in vacuum cleaner and it goes off! You plug in iron- same story. The electrician came 5 times trying to fix it! The quality of material is horrible! Sick and tired of not being able to use my bathroom normally, every time people have to go upstairs to do the work, I clean it , they come again, and it repeats and repeats. I don't get why it can not be done from the first attempt???

Everything, I've had no introduction to the system and my contact person has not even spoken with me. It's been a nightmare as was the building process. My house is still waiting for windows 6 months after closing with several attempts to schedule and lies that window is ordered and never to be replaced. The stove is a joke and the refrigerator is detected because of the configuration of the appliance set up. My sliding door is defective, and no one wishes to address it. I have leaking roof with multiple broken tiles and broken sinks, multiple fractures on wall. The list goes on. There are no words to describe my disappointment

It's really hard to summarize the multitude of pros and cons as to our experience with [name removed]. The individuals that we have interacted with, specifically our Sales Person, Builder and Warranty/MasterCare [name removed] have been exceptional. However, the amount of time to remedy deficiencies in the home has been completely unacceptable. To be told that I have to "remind" a contractor to finish a repair or even start it is terrible professional ethic- we are still waiting on items from several calls that have not been remedied and [name removed] has not even stepped up to offer compensation or otherwise in the name of customer service. From this standpoint, I'd say [name removed] has not met their commitment to us and we would be hard-pressed to recommend the builder or have faith in their promises. I would expect a much greater quality of home for the price. Although the staff has been AMAZING and problems are getting fixed, there should not have been SO MANY things that need fixing. Thé MasterCare service is taking too long to fix issues that need immediate attention. I had moved/closed on my house December 2021 with an unmatched Windows on the elevation and my sliding glass door damaged during installation I just had them fixed last week. I had the house inspected 2 weeks ago I emailed the report to MasterCare no one has reached out to me. I call [name removed] about the situation so far with no answer. My year end final walkthrough is coming up, no one as set up a date with me yet. I am really concerned.
