I enjoyed working with [name removed] from Master Care, he tries to correct my concerns as I brought them to his attention. I am glad I have him as my representative from Master care. I am not sure what it would be like if I have someone else working with me. The vendors such as [name removed] door and Heritage are the major pain in the rear to work with. As of today, 06/19/2024, my front door weather strips have not been replaced and [name removed] door had promised me more than once they will take care of it. [name removed] from [name removed] door from last vist had told me he will come to replace the weather strips of my front door to see if it will correct the problem I have as I noticed gap and the front door is a bit misaligned... I had them come back more than once to replace the doors inside the house because the crappy workmanship. Heritage is probably right there with [name removed] door with their excuses... the most ridiculous one told to me by one of the supervisor from Heritage was that, they didn't get pay to level the floor when I told him some of the tiles in the front door is not level. Because of [name removed], they came and fixed it. Overall, I think the workmanship in the house does not worth the price I paid for the house. From the scale of 1 -10, I would give my drywall finished a 5, doors finished a 6 due to all the damaged doors and the misalignment of my front door. Sub floor finished a 4 - damaged subfloor was not repair or the repair works done poorly. Carpet a 6, because the area where the tile and the carpet meets, the carpets didn't get nail down properly, it is becoming a tripping hazard for everyone, especially my 2 years old. Tile is a 6 due to the leveling on the first floor and my master shower wall finish.

I felt Minto didn't try to cut corners like other builders I've dealt with in the past in terms of quality of the home. All of the staff from my sales rep, [name removed], to warranty personnel, etc were very knowledgeable and well-trained as well. Kudos to all. I would be very open to building with Minto again!

Sales experience was a positive and was able to help out with last minute option adjustment. Throughout the construction process was a good experience as the Construction manager kept me informed on the progress of the construction and fixed major items that we signaled during the walkthrough. The negative part is there are still some items to be fixed and would have liked to have it completed by the time i moved in. But expecting the warranty team to be just as great as the sales and construction team in their quick responses and RESULUTION.

I have liked the fact that [name removed] and Mastercare has met all of our needs up to date with any issues. [name removed] has been fantastic with us from Mastercare and [name removed] has kept in touch with us here and there to ask how things are going. The only dislike was taking four months to have my stovetop replaced on a technicality but [name removed] and Mastercare came through for us.

Warranty service has served me well. I only had 2 main struggles from moving in which was not having a working ac and a on and off working refrigerator and took quite a while to fix. That has been resolved. Overall [name removed] from Mastercare has helped a lot with any issues I have with the house, responds fast and he is kind. When I had the ac situation he offered to let me use his portable ac which helped my family during the hot weather.

after going thru so many point person we struct gold with when [name removed] was assigned to us, he has provided us with exceptional serve and consistently , attention and follow up , and delivery of great results. His attention to the details and even when out of office on medical leave, ensure we were being taken care of was so appreciated and not over looked. His dedication to his clients is very commendable. He managed every repair with great attention and follow up and helped work with my schedule.

I felt as if my home was not move in ready and I had to close with several items to be completed after the fact. It wasn't until [name removed] stepped up to ensure all items that should have been completed prior to closing actually got corrected. He even took it upon himself to fix items on his own and followed up with the trades every day until complete.

My experience overall was good. [name removed] was amazing and very helpful. My worst nightmare was Wellsfargo mortgage which unethically pulled my credit 9 times in the month of November. VERY UNETHICAL and not necessary since our closing wasn’t till April 30. I ended up switching lender since I no longer wanted to deal with them. Construction went smooth even when [name removed] retired and transitioned to [name removed]. Transition was smooth.

There were too many issues with my home that a year later remain issues. My floors remain an issue with furniture tilting. My electricity still goes out multiple times a day - which in turn is ruining my appliances and devices. The overall craftsmanship is poor - finishing details are sloppy. My floor downstairs is slanted. My black front door is all painted and scratched up by workers coming in and out to do repairs. My bedroom door at night gets stuck and is difficult to open or close. I have spent the past year trying to get [name removed] to finish fixing my house. It’s been frustrating, stressful, and time consuming. I do now have a supervisor that has been working to get some of the major issues addressed and corrected which is great to finally have things getting done a year in, but I feel like some things are still going to slide that shouldn’t for a new home. These are issues I pointed out repeatedly from when we initially moved in. I had a door replaced due to it being damaged before move in and the trim is completely banged up it was a year later simply painted over - it’s now banged up with paint. The caulking was never completely sealed a year later it is sealed in some areas and not others - the person refused to just seal it all even though it was an issue I brought up initially with my builder. I don’t like that it took so long for someone to finally look into the problems I have in my home. That I had to talk to multiple people each time that attempted to brush off and dismiss my concerns before finally someone believed me enough to look into and find that my concerns were legitimate. I had mold in my house and was told first that it was diet not mold and then that the mold was because I mopped or kept the a/c too high. In fact the mold was because my a/c unit had a leaking coil that meant the a/c unit didn’t work properly to cool the house causing the mold (not dirt). Again my new supervisor has been great about getting on top of the big things but I’m still frustrated with the state of my house and I’m truly concerned that I’m going to be expected to just accept many of the problems rather than them being truly fixed in the condition of a new house - keeping in mind these are problems that came with the new house now homeowner maintenance.

Overall quality of the construction is inferior go a previous new construction that we purchased (i.e., a lot of imperfections on the drywall, subpar paint quality and only 1 coat, and 2nd floor flooring). As far as the community though, we couldn’t be more happy. Love our neighbors and the neighborhood amenities.

[name removed] from [name removed] door from last vist had told me he will come to replace the weather strips of my front door to see if it will correct the problem I have as I noticed gap and the front door is a bit misaligned... I had them come back more than once to replace the doors inside the house because the crappy workmanship. Heritage is probably right there with [name removed] door with their excuses... the most ridiculous one told to me by one of the supervisor from Heritage was that, they didn't get pay to level the floor when I told him some of the tiles in the front door is not level. Because of [name removed], they came and fixed it. Overall, I think the workmanship in the house does not worth the price I paid for the house. From the scale of 1 -10, I would give my drywall finished a 5, doors finished a 6 due to all the damaged doors and the misalignment of my front door. Sub floor finished a 4 - damaged subfloor was not repair or the repair works done poorly. Carpet a 6, because the area where the tile and the carpet meets, the carpets didn't get nail down properly, it is becoming a tripping hazard for everyone, especially my 2 years old. Tile is a 6 due to the leveling on the first floor and my master shower wall finish.

I felt Minto didn't try to cut corners like other builders I've dealt with in the past in terms of quality of the home. All of the staff from my sales rep, [name removed], to warranty personnel, etc were very knowledgeable and well-trained as well. Kudos to all. I would be very open to building with Minto again!

There were too many issues with my home that a year later remain issues. My floors remain an issue with furniture tilting. My electricity still goes out multiple times a day - which in turn is ruining my appliances and devices. The overall craftsmanship is poor - finishing details are sloppy. My floor downstairs is slanted. My black front door is all painted and scratched up by workers coming in and out to do repairs. My bedroom door at night gets stuck and is difficult to open or close. I have spent the past year trying to get [name removed] to finish fixing my house. It’s been frustrating, stressful, and time consuming. I do now have a supervisor that has been working to get some of the major issues addressed and corrected which is great to finally have things getting done a year in, but I feel like some things are still going to slide that shouldn’t for a new home. These are issues I pointed out repeatedly from when we initially moved in. I had a door replaced due to it being damaged before move in and the trim is completely banged up it was a year later simply painted over - it’s now banged up with paint. The caulking was never completely sealed a year later it is sealed in some areas and not others - the person refused to just seal it all even though it was an issue I brought up initially with my builder. I don’t like that it took so long for someone to finally look into the problems I have in my home. That I had to talk to multiple people each time that attempted to brush off and dismiss my concerns before finally someone believed me enough to look into and find that my concerns were legitimate. I had mold in my house and was told first that it was diet not mold and then that the mold was because I mopped or kept the a/c too high. In fact the mold was because my a/c unit had a leaking coil that meant the a/c unit didn’t work properly to cool the house causing the mold (not dirt). Again my new supervisor has been great about getting on top of the big things but I’m still frustrated with the state of my house and I’m truly concerned that I’m going to be expected to just accept many of the problems rather than them being truly fixed in the condition of a new house - keeping in mind these are problems that came with the new house now homeowner maintenance.

Overall quality of the construction is inferior go a previous new construction that we purchased (i.e., a lot of imperfections on the drywall, subpar paint quality and only 1 coat, and 2nd floor flooring). As far as the community though, we couldn’t be more happy. Love our neighbors and the neighborhood amenities.
