My whole experience with [name removed] and [name removed] was unacceptable, unprofessional, stressful just to name a few. The lack of communication, follow up and unreliability was applauding. Having to contact the vendors one specifically to schedule my own work unacceptable! Not given any assistance to do so unacceptable! The bribes unacceptable! There was absolutely nothing great about having them as my representative my entire experience was an epic failure. It wasn’t until my 6 month inspection when they both knew how upset I was did they decide to finally do there job and I am confident it was because they knew I wasn’t happy and they had a survey coming out for them. I have every text to prove their unprofessional, lack of communication and follow up on their end. I was hoping my daughter who just closed in her home didn’t get either one of them but she unfortunately ended up with [name removed]. I hope my experience is a learning process for [name removed] and she will take better care of my daughter and any owner for that matter than she did me. If not she will be receiving another negative review. Respectfully yours

I liked that the construction manager ([name removed]) kept in constant contact and was ready to answer any questions I had. As someone who couldn’t drive by the construction site as I lived far, I appreciated the photo updates of construction!

The quality of my home is below standard we been here for 11 months reports all issues to minto representatives and the contractors just sitting on work orders for 11 months we are tired of this

I do like that we can report problems with the house to your Master Care [name removed] and they reach out to the contractors to fix things as the occur. It gives me piece of mind to know that anything that does come up like our electrical or flooring issues will be taken care because of the great Warranty services offered by [name removed]. I appreciate the hardwork of our Mastercare [name removed]. [name removed] who has worked with us to resolve any issues we have had with the home as they occur. What I do dislike so far is some of the contractors that are sent to help resolve problems covered by the Warranty services. I did pay extra for multiple upgrades in my home and when issues occur like with my master bathroom floor and the uneven flooring it should be fixed with my concerns in mind and not so easily dismissed by the contractors hired by minto.

I disliked that the kitchen blinds were not included in the blinds package and this was not disclosed upfront. I also found it disappointing that the Cassia Model has no window in the master bathroom. The updated tiles in the living area seem to be of low quality; a chip on one of the tiles revealed red clay underneath. Additionally, the cost for a single laundry cabinet in the washroom was extremely overpriced. It would be more reasonable if this was made more affordable.

Loved the ability to customize with a la crate upgrade options! Loved the different touchpoints int he timeline all the way up to 1 year. Loved that [name removed] was willing to address every single concern we had. I do wish certain features were standard in the construction of the home (gypcrete to level upstairs, insulation within the cinder blocks, impact windows).

Everything was good until the recent tile issues. Multiple cracked tiles in the house from the very beginning which were reported immediately. Now there is no solution because the tiles are not available and [name removed] does not seem to want to honor their 1 year contractural agreement. Still awaiting an answer from Master care but everyone seems to be avoiding the issue and nobody wants to take blame and it feels like everyone is trying to make this my issue when in fact it’s not. Also still waiting for the documents [name removed] claims I signed indicating that if the tile company cannot provide the tile they originally laid that [name removed] has no obligation even though it falls within the first year and even though this tile has been cracked since the day we closed on the house.

Builder [name removed] and support staff did not care about getting things fixed after closing of the house. Door frames were in correct, patio doors were not installed correctly. Electrical issues with the microwave is not fixed. Roof tile not replaced. Would not recommend to family or friends

This has all been quite the experience, the things that I truly dislike are simple problems that could be fixed with clear and concise communication. But I did eventually get assistance when [name removed] stepped into the picture to assist with the help of [name removed] as well. They have been extremely helpful in meeting my needs and ensuring that I am satisfied. All of the problems with home are almost resolved to my satisfaction.

I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and offer constructive feedback. Firstly, I would like to express my appreciation for your role in helping me become a homeowner. It is a significant milestone in my life, and I am grateful for your guidance and support throughout the process. In terms of the positive aspects of my purchase experience, there were several elements that I appreciated. For instance, assistance with the information and queries initially while making selection from various layout available, prompt communication at each stage of the building process and design process, thorough contract documentation, assistance during inspections, or smooth coordination of the move-in process. These aspects contributed to a sense of confidence and reassurance during an otherwise complex and overwhelming time. However, I would like to mention during design selection process after structural selection can be improvised. Since we were first time home buyer, we learned to understand the layout and design options better after we had visit with contractor on site. It would be better for future homebuyer to get some detailed information and better assistance while making selection for phase 2 designs. It is important for me to emphasize that my intent is not to criticize, but rather to provide feedback that can help enhance the customer experience for future homebuyers. By addressing these concerns, we can ensure a smoother and more satisfactory process for others going forward. Once again, thank you for your assistance in helping me navigate the home buying process. [name removed] has been fantastic with us from Mastercare and [name removed] has kept in touch with us here and there to ask how things are going. The only dislike was taking four months to have my stovetop replaced on a technicality but [name removed] and Mastercare came through for us.

The purchase experience was odd. It seemed dated and not modern. You shouldn’t have to transfer money prior to signing any contract or to lock a lot in. The purchase experience was very confusing. I think a document or pamphlet should be created that outlines the process.

Warranty service has served me well. I only had 2 main struggles from moving in which was not having a working ac and a on and off working refrigerator and took quite a while to fix. That has been resolved. Overall [name removed] from Mastercare has helped a lot with any issues I have with the house, responds fast and he is kind. When I had the ac situation he offered to let me use his portable ac which helped my family during the hot weather.

We were told the home would be built between May and August, but they finished earlier and gave me a closing date of April which was too early for us. I had to sell my previous home which was delayed but minto forestry much charged me 450 dollars a day until we closed which cost me close to .12000 dollars and when we closed they wouldn’t give us the key until the following Monday so we couldn’t move in that Friday. My experience was harsh and unfair and I really wouldn’t recommend them to our friends or relatives . Love the house though .

I have liked the fact that [name removed] and Mastercare has met all of our needs up to date with any issues. [name removed] has been fantastic with us from Mastercare and [name removed] has kept in touch with us here and there to ask how things are going. The only dislike was taking four months to have my stovetop replaced on a technicality but [name removed] and Mastercare came through for us.

Warranty service has served me well. I only had 2 main struggles from moving in which was not having a working ac and a on and off working refrigerator and took quite a while to fix. That has been resolved. Overall [name removed] from Mastercare has helped a lot with any issues I have with the house, responds fast and he is kind. When I had the ac situation he offered to let me use his portable ac which helped my family during the hot weather.

Loved the ability to customize with a la crate upgrade options! Loved the different touchpoints int he timeline all the way up to 1 year. Loved that [name removed] was willing to address every single concern we had. I do wish certain features were standard in the construction of the home (gypcrete to level upstairs, insulation within the cinder blocks, impact windows).

Builder [name removed] and support staff did not care about getting things fixed after closing of the house. Door frames were in correct, patio doors were not installed correctly. Electrical issues with the microwave is not fixed. Roof tile not replaced. Would not recommend to family or friends

This has all been quite the experience, the things that I truly dislike are simple problems that could be fixed with clear and concise communication. I am very satisfied with minto, the only thing I would recommend is that the houses be fumigated before closing , since when we moved there were many small insects in the carpets.
