I liked the clear communication from the sales team (Leslie) from the very beginning to the very end. I always received prompt replies for any questions I had and detailed answers which made the process much easier to understand. I disliked the original superintendent/project manager due to zero communication unless I initiated it and continued to follow up. This superintendent was my main point of contact for the first 75-80% of the construction process. The remainder of the process through closing and even after was passed over to Juan who was absolutely amazing. He did a great job at communicating consistently, photo and status updates, attention to detail, and his overall customer service skills were a breath of fresh air. Even after closing Juan reached out and checked in to see how things were. I did not feel like “just another customer” at anytime with Juan, it was obvious he genuinely cared about the work performed and client satisfaction. I have not been impressed with the warranty team or the repairs/solutions to any issues that arose. In fact I am still experiencing the same issues almost 6 months after closing without any resolution. Working in the construction industry for over a decade myself, I understand extremely busy schedules and slightly delayed responses. What I find myself struggling with is the lack of concern/care to find a resolution or explanation for the issues occurring.

I liked that the representatives Alex and Marco always answered there phone when I called. Never had a problem with helping me, no matter the time of day. Honestly, because of them I have recommend Minto to anyone looking for a new home They both never made me feel like a burden throughout the whole process. To be fair, when the house was being built I was here once a week- so they had every right to. They are two employees that I would do everything to keep!!! Great job from both of them

Chris the construction supervisor was excellent. I was really displeased with the sale team and my sale representative. They need to know how to treat people before closing than right after closing. This is a stressful process and my sale team made it even more stressful. I would not recommend anyone to come to the sale office to purchase a house. I would rather tell them to wait for GL HOMES to built.

I’ve now been in my home for nearly a year, and I wanted to share balanced feedback on my experience. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I’m grateful for the support I’ve received—especially from Marc. Although he was not my original MasterCare contact, he stepped in and consistently went above and beyond to help resolve outstanding items. He was patient, communicative, and genuinely supportive throughout the process, even during moments of understandable frustration on my part. Thanks to his efforts, all known issues in my home have now been addressed. I would highly recommend him to any homeowner. That said, my particular home required more repairs and follow-up visits than I would have expected in a new build. Over the course of the year, I had to take multiple days off work to accommodate service appointments. While my employer was understanding, this created real disruption and stress that I would not anticipate when purchasing a new construction home. I also want to raise a specific concern regarding the mailbox and HOA transition at move-in. I was told my mailbox would be available upon closing, but it was not. As a result, I did not receive HOA statements or notices, which led to late fees and ultimately approximately $1,800 in legal charges. Attempts to retrieve mail from the temporary Loxahatchee location were inconsistent, and at times the mail had been redirected elsewhere. I believe this situation could have been prevented with clearer coordination and proactive outreach to new homeowners. This experience was particularly disappointing and remains unresolved from my perspective. Despite these challenges, I do appreciate the overall responsiveness and care shown by Minto representatives again, especially Marc. My intent in sharing this is constructive: to acknowledge what was done well while also highlighting areas where the homeowner onboarding and communication process could be strengthened for future residents. If helpful, I’m open to discussing the mailbox/HOA issue further and can provide documentation of the timeline and related charges. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience.

Our construction superintendent, Alex Martin, did an excellent job coordinating work and keeping the build on track, and the final walkthrough/handoff was thorough and reassuring. Like: builder (Alex) and inspector (Marc). Great guys who really went above and beyond to make us feel like if we had an issues they would be resolved. Dislike: The process of selecting the items to build the home felt really quick and dense. Not sure if this is a solvable problem, but if there was a way minto could invest in a 3d rendering software to more easily see what the selections might look like together, it would be great. In fact, I might have selected more upgrades (e.g.-tiles) if I had a better sense of what the final product would look like.
