The selling of the house, the closing, and the closed deal was all celebrated. Once we are in the first year, we have been passed along to different superintendents and management assigned to our satisfaction and house. We have had issued like many of the neighbors. Shower tile not draining due to the slope, holes in the base boards for ants to enter, carpet squeaking, and no fix to the shower drain being detached from the work on it. There is extremely slow response and if we do get a response, extremely slow to get the repairs scheduled and completed. 6 months in and we have had 2 of our many issues addressed and still waiting on the rest. The construction crew did well initially with a few shortcomings naturally but the effort to resolve that is disappointing. HOA management has horrible response time to our concerns and if they do response, similarly, there is no sign of any action. We have flooding on our sidewalk since moving in yet to be addressed. Front gate has had issues multiple times to fail to response to our car tags. I would not recommend to anyone unless the price is worth the experience and concerns.

Some issues should have been identified and corrected before the home was delivered. The MasterCare process was also frustrating and took much longer than expected. The closing experience was not pleasant. I had the most difficult time because I had to travel out of the country. Even though my closing was brought up by [name removed]. Had a very unpleasant phone conversation with [name removed] and to this day have not received an apology.

The floors were VERY, VERY uneven and poorly done. We removed the carpet and replaced with tiles downstairs and wood upstairs. The surfaces downstairs required A LOT of additional material (Cement) before tiles could be placed. We had a VERY difficult time locking the wood upstairs in the bedrooms. Some pieces are still unlocked thus uneven and uncomfortable to walk on. We are VERY, VERY disappointed in the quality of work that was done on the floors that were carpeted.

My biggest disappointment has been the quality of workmanship in a new construction home and the way my warranty concerns have been handled. I have experienced multiple issues, including leaking bathroom sinks/vanities, concerns about water intrusion into the walls and cabinets, countertop and installation issues, and other construction deficiencies. I had to spend $600 on an independent inspection to document concerns that I expected [name removed] to take seriously and address. What has been most frustrating is the lack of timely communication, follow-through, and confidence in the warranty process. I have had to repeatedly follow up and advocate for issues that should have been addressed proactively. As a new-home buyer, I expected much better quality control and customer service. I hope [name removed] uses this feedback to improve both the construction process and the way warranty concerns are handled.
