I had brought up a concern about my a/c not working properly and when they came they moved the thermostat over for whatever reason. Long story short they were supposed to come and fix the dry wall and that never happened

I would prefer for 3rd party services to call prior to coming out to service. I’ve had multiple cases where they show up and luckily I have been home in order for them the service if not the fixes wouldn’t get taken care of.

Dislike: lot selection process, unable to modify home structure inside, felt rushed during the process even there was plenty time after selections were completed, it took 19 months to build our home. Like: building process was clear and building managers were very helpful and did their best effort to move the project forward, Options A & B selection process were clear but also lacked options.

The condition of our home has remained above average after our first year of living in it. Very minor issues that need to be fixed secondary to settling. [name removed] has been exceptional to deal with for any work that we needed completed. Really makes the whole processes so much smoother than we ever anticipated. Unfortunately having to deal with heritage tile for repairs in our master bathroom has been a headache to say the least.

Everything went smoothly. The only thing I did not like was the hold up process where we wouldn’t know when we were expected to close and the housing market was increasing and our rate was increasing and it almost put us in a bad situation

My electrical seems to be having an issue. But I do like that Brio has been emailing and scheduling the items to be fixed. If I had no issues it would be 100% satisfied. Also maybe include an option to get residential input on landscape design.

No dislikes. [name removed], our MasterCare post closing inspector was one of the most professional and reliable individual I’ve had the pleasure of dealing. He was able to address all of or concerns for [name removed]. He is the absolute best!!

I like the experience that I’ve had with my builder and with the warranty rep that you guys examine with both of them have been extremely helpful and great. They have been nothing but professional and on time and always followed up. The dislikes that I have with [name removed] homes in general and the contractors that they provide/use. The cabinet vendor that Minto Homes uses has been the absolute worst and our customer services has been absolutely horrible and unreliable. The only company that I’ve had a good experience and [name removed] uses is alpha doors. I think Minto Homes is spreading their self to thin and building too many houses at one time and rushing to close to collect money and leaving your builder and your warranty rep that’s a sign to your house tied with their hands behind their back. I think Minto Homes should further evaluate their internal issues before selling any more houses. At first I was looking to buy another house inside the same neighborhood and now I am looking elsewhere . Again my builder and my warranty rep have both been amazing and she got a 10 /10 in satisfaction.

[name removed], our Construction Superintendent was great and kept us informed as much as possible, even with all of the material delays. In some cases we feel like the construction superintendents deal with a lot of work, maybe too much! Also a very special mentione to [name removed] who reached out to us to fix some original issues we had. She went above and beyond in contacting us and gave us an excellent experience and impression of [name removed]. Thank You All!

We were very dissatisfied with our sales rep [name removed]. She told us back in March 2021 that [name removed] does not offer pools or fences- and I see several neighbors who signed before us who used [name removed] for their pool and fence. She rushed through the paperwork so fast our heads were spinning, which caused a mistake with one of our upgrades that we ended up having to pay an extra $500 for. We will not be recommending anyone to go through her ever. Our realtor will not be using her either. Overall very dissatisfied with her. Also, I would like to mention the terrible workers that [name removed] employs and entrusts our homes with. We had several issues of employees urinating and defecating in our home. This is not only disgusting but unacceptable. The drywall team was one of the worst and urinated several times in our home. We have been closed for over 1 month and are still missing many things- among them are a refrigerator and our slider. These issues make for an overall dissatisfied experience. [name removed] our builder was amazing.

My builder, [name removed], was absolutely amazing. I was continuously updated and sent pictures. He was thorough in explaining the whole process and any questions I had. He has continued to assist us even after we closed. If every builder was as genuine and thorough as ours there would be absolutely no complaints during the process. I was not happy about having to close with stuff wrong in the house and being pressured by some of the mastercare to take the east way out of fixing my range breaker that was tripping. [name removed] was not present for this conversation, but i was extremely uncomfortable and felt as if mastercare did not want to fix it properly. I have also noticed some things that were done sloppy and were broken by other contractors but [name removed] has been very prompt in fixing everything.

I liked the updates and photos along the way. I liked how [name removed] and [name removed] always made themselves available when questions arose. I disliked the delays of windows. I disliked some of the basic craftsmanship such as drywall and tile that had to be corrected prior to closing. Most of the corrections, although they were made right, should not have had to be made at all if the standard some of the workers were held to was higher. It should be done right the first time, not the second or third time.

We started with a builder that was very good but was overwhelmed with work which caused him to forget a few things that were promised to us. i.e. didn’t turn on sprinklers when new sod was installed. We later found out that he was no longer with the company after weeks of trying to reach out to him but luckily for us Mr [name removed] was assigned to us and he has made a difficult situation for us into a great experience. He has been available for us at anytime we have contacted him. He has corrected every problem that has presented it self in the the new build process in a timely manner and has exceeded our expectations. He checks on us regularly and is an added bonus that we can communicate to him in our first language.

I want to be clear our builder [name removed] was amazing! And went above and beyond for us we are completely satisfied with him. The issues we are having is with the quality of materials used. We have only been in the house for 6m and we’ve had multiple issues our biggest being electrical. Our breakers are constantly an issue and when we went away for vacation our fridge breaker stopped working. We came back to all of our food having to be thrown out, a horrible smell and some of our baseboards ruined. When the electrician came by he blamed our fridge and as a “courtesy” changed our breaker to give us peace of mind and prove it was our fridges fault… yet it hasn’t happened again since it was changed. That situation was something [name removed] should have taken responsibility for and offered something for the trouble that was caused. We also have issues with the paint quality it is so easily stained. We have had other issues come up but have been dealing with [name removed] who is very helpful.

We started with a builder that was very good but was overwhelmed with work which caused him to forget a few things that were promised to us. i.e. didn’t turn on sprinklers when new sod was installed. We later found out that he was no longer with the company after weeks of trying to reach out to him but luckily for us Mr [name removed] was assigned to us and he has made a difficult situation for us into a great experience. He has been available for us at anytime we have contacted him. He has corrected every problem that has presented it self in the the new build process in a timely manner and has exceeded our expectations. He checks on us regularly and is an added bonus that we can communicate to him in our first language.

I want to be clear our builder [name removed] was amazing! And went above and beyond for us we are completely satisfied with him. The issues we are having is with the quality of materials used. We have only been in the house for 6m and we’ve had multiple issues our biggest being electrical. Our breakers are constantly an issue and when we went away for vacation our fridge breaker stopped working. We came back to all of our food having to be thrown out, a horrible smell and some of our baseboards ruined. When the electrician came by he blamed our fridge and as a “courtesy” changed our breaker to give us peace of mind and prove it was our fridges fault… yet it hasn’t happened again since it was changed. That situation was something [name removed] should have taken responsibility for and offered something for the trouble that was caused. We also have issues with the paint quality it is so easily stained. We have had other issues come up but have been dealing with [name removed] who is very helpful.

The condition of our home has remained above average after our first year of living in it. Very minor issues that need to be fixed secondary to settling. [name removed] has been exceptional to deal with for any work that we needed completed. Really makes the whole processes so much smoother than we ever anticipated. Unfortunately having to deal with heritage tile for repairs in our master bathroom has been a headache to say the least.
