There are certain features in my home that I am not happy with. One, I specifically asked in the pre-building process about the wall finish and was assured it would have a more finished look not the base that wipes off when a mark is removed. Another feature is the lights on the stairs. It makes no sense to have the step lights only turn on when the overhead light is on.

[name removed] has been great to work with to help fix the poor quality of work produced by the contracted builders. He is attentive, responsive and a pleasure to work with. It simply sucks that he has to do so much post-close work due to the low quality of work provided by these contracted builders. For someone like me that is a new home owner and single - it's left a lot of the post-work on me to do and track down. I probably wouldnt have chosen to pay to have my house painted and would have hired a specialist to do that for me which is what I thought I was paying for (paint drips and specks everywhere, all over the floors,I am still cleaning up today, missing corners, missed seams, poor lines, inconsistent finish) Several door frames in the home not properly sealed even after they came out to do a bunch of fixing. Cabinets and finishes on things are not done properly, lots of fixing had to be done on my end that should really have been done to the best quality at time of build. Having someone own this throughout the build process would make a world of difference. Attention to detail, ensuring quality & clean work is done, order of operations (painting should be done before doors, floors and kickboards are installed) - house should be professionally cleaned prior to closing to catch any residuals of this - would create a better experience and some sort of control of the output

I was supported throughout the building/buying of my home! Times when I felt I would not be able to close on the deal, [name removed] and [name removed] both offered positive talks to encourage me to proceed. I am so very thankful that I continued on with my purchase. During the design appointment, I clearly added too many upgrades that were out of my budget, but the designer helped me narrow down my options and change a few with suggestions leading me to the absolute best selections that were reasonable and beautiful in the end. [name removed] has been supportive in fixing minor things that occurred during the building process. I must admit that I could not be any happier with my new, beautiful home! There is absolutely nothing that I would want to change! My home is perfect for me and my children!

I love my new home. That being said there are things I feel could be better. One, the back and side walls on my property are too low. From my living room I can see directly into the neighbor’s home behind me from chest up. It needs at least one more layer of brick for adequate privacy. Secondly, every time a repair is made, it seems something else is impacted due to careless work by contractors. An example, they replaced a window, but then cracked the stucco in that area. I feel the installation around the garage is minimal as the sound is easily heard in room above as well as other rooms. However, repairs have been made in a timely manner and I feel my home is quite beautiful & comfortable. One other thing, I was told there would be no parking on the street in front of the homes; however, this is not the case. It is quite challenging to pull out and into my garage with cars parked on the street in front of other homes directly across from mine.

There are several things from day 1 that have not been fixed in my kitchen, back splash was installed wrong, I was suppose to pick out a new back splash to have installed, but still hasn't happened and warpt cabinet door has still not been replaced.

Design studio was an unpleasant experience. I ordered only around $22,000 and was not enough to make happy Lisa Richards who was disturbed with my presence and sent THREE times to stay in a model of my preference because she was required to stay alone while enter my order in her laptop. I was treated second class just for the fact that I’m Latino and gay and she’s white and straight. Second, your electric vendor is and was a complete disaster. Check my order and how much I expend in electrical orders. Decided to make my new home 100% Brilliant. The worst decision I made. Your electrical vendor s still no able to finish their bad job after 40 days of escrow closing. The White Glove technicians were disappointed because the electricians made a mess so cannot set up a smart home correctly. STILL UNRESOLVED. I KNOW THIS IS A NEW VENDOR BUT THERE IS NOT EXCUSE. CHECK ALL THE ELECTRIC WORK ORDERS AFTER CLOSO OF ESCROW. I AM NOT GOING TO REPEAT MYSELF here to make you aware of the electric disappointment.

There was no communication gap during the building process. Everything done as requested and planned. Even after move-in, new home company responding quickly if have any concern about anything.

The guy in the field are great. They really care, particularly the team lead by [name removed]. Obviously, the speed of completion could be faster, but ongoing communication continues to all us to understand the efforts of the team. The sales representatives were really cordial. The craftmanship could have been better. There were lots of bad finishes pre-stucco times. Bad finishes were ubiquitous.

Everyone was so hands-on! Valerie, Alex and Julio were amazing! They each listened to my questions and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. Alex and Julio have been so helpful during the closing process. Valerie was so helpful supportive and encouraging during this process. I have never bought a home before and I was so nervous during this process because of horror stories I have heard but I felt so comfortable with The New Home Co. They made the process so easy. I highly recommend The New Home Co.!
