The selection of the home was easy and [name removed] was helpful in answering questions, although throughout the paperwork process we felt a bit rushed to get documents reviewed and signed to meet the deadlines given to us. [name removed] and [name removed] were great to work with during the home walk through and correcting a few small items found in the inspection.

We appreciate the New Home Co team at Marvita. The home we purchased at [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] is the 6th home in our purchase history and we feel this was our overall best purchase. We were downsizing from a large estate home on a very large lot and looked at properties virtually and identified 2 properties that met the search criteria for our next home. We decided to physically visit both properties but only experienced a showing at New Home Co in Marvita. When we arrived at Marvita and met [name removed] in your sales office we knew there was something special about him based on our common interest in Christianity and basketball. After our conversation with [name removed] and seeing the home on [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] we felt led by God's Holy Spirit that this was the home we were destined to purchase. We prayed about it and [name removed] was amazing in answering questions and providing information clearly and honestly that helped us make the decision to buy the home within a couple of hours on the same day of our visit. Before our closing we met [name removed] during the inspection and walk through. He was and still is one of the most professional, dedicated and committed home construction managers we have had the opportunity to interact with. He was very attentive to details and determined to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction. After hearing that [name removed] would not be at Marvita full time we were happy that New home Co recognised and rewarded him for his performance. We were apprehensive that our punch list items would not be resolved until we met [name removed] who is a clone of [name removed]. We are very pleased with our home and your personnel at Marvita. We have expressed to [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] that they all make us feel like family. We are so thankful that God led us to a great community to enjoy retirement living.

The construction manager ([name removed]) and his team ([name removed] and [name removed]) are GREAT! Even after closing, they’ve been super helpful. Warranty guy ([name removed]) had everything I requested fixed during the first 30 days and worked with my schedule.

Contract to move in was great. There’s always going to be issues with new builds, and our experience was not exempt from that. We really appreciate [name removed]’s enthusiasm and welcoming spirit. What we dislike most is some of the “cut corners” like unfinished door jamb rough cut corners, paint all over the floor, and some of the silly mistakes like a cabinet being hung upside down.

Like: Design packages for options made buying process easy. Felt like used quality items. Everyone seemed happy and delightful to talk to from sales agent to foreman (construction supervisor) Dislike: Had to jump through hoops for inspection. Couldn’t add customer specific customization or additions.

The build quality seemed to be sub par in areas, the light fixtures retire we requested are off position, and there are other areas like floor and walls that has issues. The initial booking and building process was ok though.

MY WORST EXPRENCE WAS THEY CHANGE THE CLOSING DATE AFTER THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED, AND NOTICIFICATION THE NEW CLOSING DATE WITHNOT COMMUNICATION.
