I love the staffs!!! Terrific people; especially worthy of mention are [name removed] and [name removed]. They went above and beyond on so many occasions during my purchase experience, promptly responding to every one of my inquiries, even during their off days. They are the best of the best sales managers I have ever met. [name removed], the designer and her assistant, were very patient and provided much valuable and practical suggestions with the option selections. The onsite supervisors and customer care personnels, [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well. The people are the best and the only down side is with the delay. While I fulfilled my part in closing on time, the glass panels was delayed several times and was not in placed until the day before excrow closing. That makes the closing experience very rushed and I was not able to properly inspect the property. Even now, 22 days after closing, one inside mirror door is still not installed.

Brilliant, ring doorbell, MyQ are very cheap product breaks down frequently. Our Fence is also light weighted and shaky. I was told there will be walk thru after 6 months and 1 year no one has called me so. far.

Like: Salespeople ([name removed], [name removed]) responded timely & promptly and they are very supportive. Don't like: Most of the upgrades are preselected and didn't give me many options. Even within the available options, small changes like adding soft closers to cabinet doors and adding a couple of additional lights weren't allowed. These are very minor changes The paint & tiles job could have been done better

Warranty service provides sucks . I haven't seen such bad service in my life . [name removed] service person [name removed] is very rude and unprofessional. I won't let him enter inside my property. With this type of service I feel like I'm scammed.

First they did not meet the requirement building for closing as scheduled it kept on getting pushed back . When we moved the house wasn’t up to our expectations and still items are pending that has not been fixed for a year now . When we reposted items [name removed] said it is a home owner responsibility and have your husband fix it.

I like the fast communication and understanding from NewHome team and they took care of us from start to end. We are from East Coast moving to West Coast so in some cases, a face to face meeting is not possible BUT newHome allows our friend to attend on our behalf.

The customer care person [name removed] doesn't respond properly to my queries. For every issue I raise, he says this is not covered under warranty, this is how it is for everyone, and this is the homeowner's job. I had an issue with bugs coming in through the HVAC vents and also the HVAC filter is missing. When I asked he said the bugs in the HVAC vents issue are there even in model homes. And he said the filter is not supposed to be there. Finally, after asking multiple times, he sent the HVAC guys. The HVAC guys came and noticed two reasons. 1. The filter was missing in the first place. 2. There is a gap in the roof jack through which the bugs are coming. I was breathing bad air for almost 4-5 months. The point is customer service should try to resolve the issues, not try to push back and avoid the issue by saying it is not covered.

Liked: Sales team [name removed] & [name removed] are awesome. They helped even after the move in Dislikes: A huge list. There were a lotta basic things that were not inspected properly. First, none of the vents (exhaust fans) in any of the bathrooms worked (they were not even connected to power), Heating didn't work (first issue due to it being shut off and then the fuze was gone), master closet didn't have power, in-law suite door has no way to enter from outside (some of these things were identified in the walk thru but were not addressed). And just to finish all of these things it took over 2 months. Complete disappointment it was. Even before walk thru shouldn't the inspection catch these things? Who is to be blamed? I bought room heaters to survive initially in the COLD winter of December. [name removed] 24 hour emergency number doesn't work for T-mobile or AT&T - how? Isn't this a basic thing? Some more issues: One of the recess lights in the [name removed] room downstairs was not connected at all. Dishwasher was not secured at all. Some of these are major hazards. For eg: bathroom vents not working can lead to mold which is a serious health hazard.

Because of this we had to hire and pay for this and no one was ready to take the responsibility. I am not sure how much this review is going to help but i definitely want to pointed this out to management. Hope we get some action and justice from the management.

[name removed] and [name removed] are phenomenal folks. As a Realtor who has closed over 450 homes and 500+ Million in sales in about 8 years i found them refreshing and genuinely good to work with. They had the interest of the Seller and Buyer at heart and that kind of approach endears the Sales Folks to the Buyers as well. There were many other aspects of [name removed] and [name removed] that makes them stand out from the rest of the Sales folks in River Islands in a very positive way and it is no wonder how they represent New Home Company makes you look very good in front of potential buyers

They said they will provide the window screens in a few days after moving in, but we are still counting and there is no update yet and the temperatures are getting around 90s and not able to open windows during evenings because of now window screens and lot of insects/flys.
