The home itself and the final product are things I am happy with, but the overall purchase experience from contract through move-in was significantly more frustrating than it should have been. The biggest issue was the repeated uncertainty and changes surrounding the closing timeline. My original closing date was July 22, but [name removed] was unable to obtain the required COO from the City of Beaverton, resulting in the closing being pushed to August 12. After the COO was obtained sooner than anticipated, [name removed] then asked me to move the closing forward to August 7. I specifically asked whether I could retain the August 12 date and was told that I could not, so I agreed to accommodate the earlier closing. What was particularly disappointing was that on the same day I ultimately closed, [name removed] reduced the prices of the three immediately adjacent, substantially comparable homes by $20,000. I understand that builders can change pricing on unsold inventory and that my contract established my purchase price. However, the combination of being asked to accelerate my closing and then seeing comparable neighboring homes reduced by $20,000 on the exact day I closed left me feeling that the circumstances were handled poorly from a customer-service perspective. I raised this concern with [name removed] and escalated it to management, but ultimately the company declined to provide any accommodation. I also experienced longstanding inspection items and other issues during the process that added to the frustration. While I appreciate the individuals who worked with me throughout the transaction, the overall experience left me disappointed. A $20,000 same-day price reduction immediately following an accelerated closing is particularly difficult to accept when purchasing a nearly $770,000 home, and I do not feel [name removed] handled the situation in a way that prioritized the customer experience.

I’ve reported for door adjustment from the portal, but no updates until a week later. Other than that, the house is wonderful and the guidelines for setting up utilities is very helpful. We truly appreciate your efforts in addressing all of our concerns and requests. We’re really happy to have this house, thank you so much again :)

I dislike what was specified as a repair being done did not materialize 100% and a lot of cover-up fixes made to make it appear a task is complete.
