I didn’t like that I had to replace shrubs due to a freeze because shrubs that weren’t tolerant to the weather were placed in our landscape package. [name removed] and [name removed] have been extremely helpful through the process. [name removed] has been efficient to ensure trades are responding and scheduling timely for warranty work. [name removed] has been overall great has we settled into our house over the past 6 months.

I’ve been in the home for over 30 days, and I still can’t move my mother in because the AC issues haven’t been resolved. I’m also had to wait a month to install my fence because the backyard was washing away. They filled it with dirt, but I’m not confident it will hold long-term. The VP at [name removed] said it would, and mentioned he would walk the property every two weeks, but I’m still concerned. We’ve already had around ten cracks in the stucco, and I’m worried about what the exterior will look like in five years with this many cracks so early. Inside the home, you can clearly see the drywall tape lines through the walls. We still don’t have all the mulch that was supposed to be installed around the house. They replaced the dead sod, but I told them to check the irrigation because that was likely the reason the grass died in the first place. They installed new sod, and that grass also died. I checked the irrigation myself, and it wasn’t functioning properly, so now I’m still left with dead grass.

Our Sales Associate left the company towards the end of our build process, no one formally reached out to notify us of the change to a new associate. It was a little disorganized. I didn’t like not knowing the cost for upgrades at the design center when going under contract. It would have been a nice idea of what some bigger ticket items would cost to help budget for structural options. We also had an issue with not really understanding where the home would sit on the lot which caused our backyard to be more sloped than we anticpated.
