Initially we experienced a difficult time dealing with a VP, Mr. [name removed]. He was rude, couldn't address me by Mr. [name removed] or even [name removed]. His people skills leave so much to be desired considering we, the customer are spending LOTS of money. After our concerns were addressed in our favor, everyone was nice, considerate and helpful. When filing a warranty issue, the guys who came out were very good, seemed genuinely interested in resolving our concerns which were done quickly and to our satisfaction. Overall, we are pleased and happy with our home and help given to us (except for the VP, [name removed]).

Months of nothing happening as the houses around us were completed…many didn’t even have the foundation laid when mine was fully framed. The in house lender pulled a bait and switch on my rate. Now that we have closed and moved in, we have noticed more and more things that were done shoddily or with a complete lack of attention to detail. House was not cleaned before move in…dirty floors, ceiling fans covered in dry wall dust, front and back yards covered in construction trash and cigarette butts, fixtures with paint on them, kitchen sink not sealed in place, etc, etc.

The yard (front and back) is really unleveled. It makes it difficult to walk around/play in the yard and to mow the lawn as well. The first month we hard a leak in the restroom due to a missing cap on one of pipes on the roof. It was marked complete on the inspection report before we moved in but shortly after we discovered that was not really the case. Now 5 months in we have chipping paint on our cabinets. Other than the lawn, everything else we received a quick response and resolution which I’m thankful for.

Sloppy workmanship on walls, doors and trim. Back door crooked and does not seal correctly. Lights that flicker. AC has pulsing noise. Incorrect water heater installed. Garage door struggles to go up and down. [name removed] all trim painted. Upstairs floors are still squeaking. Noisy exhaust flappers. Kitchen exhaust fan leaking into utility room? Master shower handle angles downward. Shower drain not attached, Etc. A full list is coming.

Trophy (BHome) forced us to sell our old home by a certain date while our new home sat weeks at a time with no/little progress. Then in a rush to meet our deadline, Trophy and their subs rushed to get the home done so we could close. Many corners were cut. Examples: ^ Sprinklers are too high and will be hit by mowers ^ I don't think the grass was rolled after it was laid. It is very unlevel ^ Sprinklers in the back are spraying the home * Prewired Cat 6 and Coax was not terminated at the jacks ^ Towel racks in the bathrooms are installed directly over the electrical outlets ^ Information we asked for was never provided ( Name of the plants/Trees. Model of light fixture by the garage door) Our requests were ignored. Example: ^ Two side of the back fence we have the finished side on. We requested the finished side before they built the 3rd side. Of course we got the unfinished side. The fence contractor said he was never told to give us the finished side. And if he was told, Trophy would have made them change it. Additionally, the 3rd side is not the same color or height as the other two sides. Bottom line, we paid a lot of money for this home, and if the builder/subs took pride in their work, they shouldn't need to be told to make the 3 sides match, roll the grass, not put towel racks over outlets...

Quality of the paint in cabinets, paints is falling off - vinyl on the floor is lifting - out irrigation system is sinking - we had a issue with an opening in the second floor that trophy didn’t want fixed - overall it’s been ok

They keep pushing back on fixing obvious drainage issues and brick mortar being the wrong color on some parts of the house. AC broke within 6 months of moving in. Day number 3 of living in a 90 degree house.

Apart from recieving a Beautiful [name removed] , [name removed] and [name removed] made our first home experience exciting! At every stage of our build , [name removed] provided pictures of our homes progress and updated us weekly. Every question/concern we had, [name removed] was always quick to answer. [name removed]'s attention to detail was superb and at our buyer orientation the home was perfect.We love our home!

There were a lot of paint job and texture issues on the walls, either the paint job is sloppy and overlaps onto other things or there are splotches of texture missing from sections of the wall. Also, the caulking was subpar and is peeling or sloppily done in certain sections. I have also seen splices in the baseboard that were brought to the attention of the assistant on the walkthrough that were not completed.

I bought a house with a dead tree and the warranty process won't replace it. I guess that teaches me not to buy a new house in the winter. [name removed] sure how I was supposed to check the tree without any leaves.

Everything went great! Until [name removed] left...once [name removed] took over it went down hill from there. ([name removed]) We had been update almost 3-4 times a week [name removed]. Once she was gone I not once got a text, phone call, email or any line of communication other than [name removed] saying she’s taking over from [name removed]. Towards the end, we had our walk thru with [name removed] amd found some stuff that wasn’t okay with the floors. I notified [name removed] and my realtor called [name removed], She was positive trophy would not replace the floors and that we would just have to deal with it. We advised we would be delaying the closing until the situation was fixed and she verbally stated via phone with my realtor “ oh, delay closing? Well just a heads up we have a line out the door of people waiting to buy these houses, go ahead and delay”. She says this 2 days before closing, was yelling at my realtor on the phone, hung up on him TWICE and would not return his phone calls. There is not a person in this company I wouldn’t want to deal with MORE than her. Absolutely by far the most disrespectful person when talking to YOUR customers. Despite what the situation with [name removed], I would of rated her a 10/10. Had the best interest of the BUYERS in mind and made sure every single buyer was happy.

She constantly kept us up to date throughout the building process by sending picture updates, which we loved receiving. Also, our walk through with [name removed] was great! Very minor touch ups needed and he was great to work with and very attentive to making sure repairs were done quickly and correctly. Both [name removed] and [name removed] helped make this buying experience amazing. We absolutely love our home and have recommended several people to Trophy Signature and the [name removed] Community.
