Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.

[name removed] was great with handling all the paperwork and answering questions as we visited every 2 weeks to check on the home building process. There were times when they had my name misspelled but were able to resolve by the last day of signing. After moving in we felt great as it is my first home. The house is exactly what we were looking for. But 1 thing we didn’t like is there are spaces in the house where bugs enter and we almost find them daily. We are worried about that since we have a baby and it’s not good for him.

I like how smooth the purchase transaction was since my lender worked close with Trophy Homes. [name removed] was always there when i had question and answer my emails within a timely manner. We encountered a couple of hiccups when trying to get approved but [name removed] never gave up. The construction manager [name removed] was a great guy to work with since i moved in to my home. He always answer my calls and messages when i had questions about my house or any issues. He's a honest person and truly believe he tries his best to build a well build home for everybody.

I also liked that the lender was able to work to closing so quickly. I appreciated the reduction of the purchase price and closing costs.

Everything went smoothly during the process - [name removed] was especially helpful. [name removed] was also very knowledgeable and helpful during the walk-throughs. All in all, the experience was great and would have received a score of 10, however, the reason for the 9 is that in the process of moving in, we observed a great many ants in and around the pantry area. We thought this was an isolated incident, however that night, two of the children were bitten multiple times by ants (second floor bedroom) and the 6-year-old was bitten on his eyelid. It was very painful for him, and it got infected, resulting in a Dr. visit. We were very disappointed that the lot and perimeter of the house had apparently not been treated for insects; if treatment was applied, it was not effective. Our son subsequently treated both the inside and outside of the home, and there have been no further issues thus far.
