The lack of attention to detail during construction. Too many issues to deal with for being a new home: black mold in the bathroom, issues with bathroom light switches being installed incorrectly, incorrectly installed shower basin in master bathroom, poor level of craftsmanship on door trim install, top of door trim not being painted as it is company policy to save money, I'm assuming, clogged plumbing due to construction debris on the first night of living there and more. While all of these issues were finally addressed and for the most part corrected, it was a very stressful and annoying process and put a damper on owning a new home. We actually have already moved on from this home and bought another one from a competitor builder who took their time in building and paid attention to details and gave the best buying experience we've ever had. This is the fifth home I've purchased.

[name removed] has provided exceptional support and communication with everything related to my physical home. [name removed] and [name removed] represented Trophy exceptionally well.

The HVAC was wired improperly causing us a $1600 bill over a 2 month span as AC and heat were running simultaneously. Also pending repairs on leaky faucet that caused flooring damages…

Cabinet or doors were installed poorly, hear squeaking noise walking upstairs, yard or outside grass was poor laid, evidence can be seen in community. I have witnessed this happen to houses currently being built or completed. Workers laying grass on trash and uneven surfaces. Grass does not come out as advertised in model home. I like the energy efficiency of the house and the water heater system.

[name removed] has not followed through with his promise to us to install the front porch light and the window or vent above the garage. The electrical needs to be checked as well because we have 3 light bulbs out in master and when we turn the shower on the electricity in entire house flickers. We have multiple cracked bricks on the back of the house below living room window. We still have blue and green tape on walls where they did not ever touch up after our walk through.

This is our second time purchasing a move in ready home and our 1st with Trophy. This time around was not a pleasant experience. Before signing, we told the salesman how imperative it was to close on our home by a certain date and he promised to deliver. The moving company even held our furniture for a week and our home still wasn’t ready. That cost us a lot of additional money moving from out of state and we were not compensated for the inconvenience. The title company [name removed] brick was not the easiest to get a hold of. Our realtor left VM’s and received no call back. Our home had several repairs and cleanup that needed to be done even upon move in. . [name removed] was awesome to work with throughout the process , he remained honest and transparent even when there bad news. He did a great job trying to fix and repair as much as he could in our home, even after we moved in. We are extremely grateful for him. However, if our salesman had initially told the truth from the beginning, about the home not being ready until the following month, we would have planned accordingly and it would have saved us alot of money.

I'm still waiting on the garage door to be replaced, I understand they are on back order. I am more concerned about the ability of the property to drain water between 371 and 375 teton, it seems as though there is always water after a rain that takes way to long to dry up and you can also sense the rotting smell of the Sod from underneath the surface, not sure is a proper drainage system was employed between the houses, its a very soggy area, I'm sure I'm not the only home noticing this

I’m not going to list the multitude of shoddy workmanship, because I keep interaction with Trophy to a minimum….. However, this house is so hot in the late afternoon (84°+), despite the AC is never set below 72°

I felt as if lies were presented during the process especially pertaining to pre closing where things would be fixed and taken care of that are still outstanding and I haven’t heard from any representative for Trophy and have not completed the 15 day walk through. There is a bunch of things needed to be fixed and was told it would be done prior to handoff to warranty but was all lies

Owning up to issues and repairing them always gets political and technical. Doing the least to protect their bottom line does appears to be their only interest. They will throw you under the Warranty Bus as quickly and as often as they can.

I like how spacious it feels, however the workmanship, negligence and lack of attention to detail is evident both inside the house and outside: i.e improper laying and prepping before laying grass. This is evident throughout the neighborhood, contractors laying grass on gravels and debris. Cracks on garage bulkhead allowing rodents and crickets into garage. Contractors need to pick up their trash i.e soda and beer cans, food and wrapping. Contractor jobs need to be verified after completion.

[name removed] happy with general workmanship - trim work is poor through house, outside finish work around garage and front door are poor. Concrete work is not good at all, through out the subdivision it is not even amateur level, unacceptable, Landscaping is cheap.

I like the people who service things, dislike when concrete is developing holes and I haven't even lived there a year and I’m told it’s not a warranty issue. Dislike that they laid the sod over trash and rocks and warranty doesn’t cover poor building practices

Once you sign those documents you are on your own. Naturally things take time to show up - or be recognized, and not always in the designated time. My yard was basically a terrible job - still a work in progress - that cost me money. Don't be happy to just tie people to paperwork, be happy to provide a excellent product in the first place.

Dislike that the project engineer was fired and we have been working with [name removed] which has been great. But there are many repairs needed for this home. My husband has taken off of work to meet with vendors that scheduled appointments and no show from contractors. Some show up with no appointments and he’s happens to be at home. Unacceptable. Repairs; casings around door needs painting, clean paint off floor ,stain handrails, carpet repair and etc. We like design of the home, 3 car garage, patio, tall ceilings and kitchen. We like that [name removed] is doing his best with answering calls but we can’t decorate fully because we are waiting on contractors to finish the job they should have done right the first time. We have been inconvenienced

Multiple times I have tried to plan a day to get my plumbing fixed and they keep scheduling when I tell them I’m asleep. I work nights and don’t wake up till 2:30. I have said my fiancé is off Wednesday and that’d be the best day however they keep scheduling me for Thursday and show up at 11am. My door bell doesn’t work. Hasn’t in awhile. Our garage door lift is too weak to lift the wooden garage door. I’m sure they put the wrong motor in as my neighbor has had this issue and they told him that and replaced with a better motor. Sprinklers snapped off in my yard two of them one in front and back looks like they were dug out in both places. No warranty coverage only on sprinkler device in garage. Warranty replacement is not accommodating at all. Or timely. I wouldn’t recommend friends or family to trophy.

Working with the sales rep, [name removed], was great. Once we moved in we discovered that there were many things that needed to be fixed in our home. I am in the mortgage industry and have helped many buyers buy new construction, and our last home we bought was new construction, and I've never seen such poor workmanship before on any of them. Based on the house we purchased, and the process of getting things fixed so far, I would NOT recommend Trophy to any of my friends, family or clients. Trophy was on us to close quickly, but the home feels like it wasn't even ready when we closed. They rushed the work that needed to be completed to make it close by their date. Also, I feel like the intention was to push off some of the mistakes onto the warranty team rather than do better quality work in the first place.
