Unable to make any changes or pay for upgrades while house being built. Items on standard on early phases were discontinued on our phase IE undercounter lights,brick porches, better flooring and higer efficient AC.

The garage needs to be larger. You cannot park two cars in the garage—the opportunity to pay for appliance upgrades. The vinyl wood-like floors need to be evaluated, as they are so hard, and now I have a foot problem that has to be treated by a physician due to walking on this surface as they are so hard. The garage needs several more plugs, as many homeowners use electric yard tools. The yards need to be cleared of rocks before the grass is put down; as you walk out, it is uneven, and you can feel the large stones under the surface of the grass. The third-party inspection needs to be more thorough with the inspection. We were delighted with the help of [name removed] and [name removed] through the purchase process; they both were so helpful, and a BIG shout out to [name removed], our builder, who has been terrific. We have only those few suggestions that would make this a much better home. We have been delighted with the people we have worked with and Trophy Homes from start to close.

The quality of workmanship has been very disappointing, and the unwillingness to make things right through the warranty has been extremely frustrating. There have been lots of cut corners and poor quality issues, many of which took a lot of time and back and forth before a commitment was made to resolve it. Some of which have still not been resolved, such as our master bathtub having a hole in it since before we moved in. It was brought to the attention of the warranty manager 4 months ago and we are still waiting on the replacement job to be scheduled. The interior paint quality is terrible and comes off with soap and water, keeping us from being able to clean our walls. I've stepped on tacks from under the carpet in multiple doorways and on the stairs that I've had to go back with a mallet and knock down. We have newborn that will be crawling soon and we are concerned she will cut herself on tacks that we've missed. The landscaping and irrigation have been a point of contention since we moved in. The grading is very uneven, rocks directly under the sod that should've been removed, erosion already occurring near gutter drains, standing water along the side of the house. We moved in during the winter and plants that were put in before we moved in never came back in the spring. All of which were not covered by the warranty, which is a major frustration. There is a lot of caulking that needs to be redone, exterior paint on the lintels that we have warranty tickets in for that we are still waiting to get fixed, windows that won't latch, the list goes on. None of these items on their own were major issues, but as a hole we have been very disappointed in the quality of our home. And extremely frustrated with the warranty system in place.

The fixtures and some portions of the workmanship did not meet expectations. We have only made a few warranty claims. The fence repair was performed, but could have been better. We have had issues with the air conditioning and still have not gotten a good response. Our direct questions have not been answered. We are waiting to hear if what occurred during the roof and gutter repair service.

Sales was great ([name removed] and [name removed]). Warranty ([name removed]) has been good, too. The only issue I have with the home is the trim and finishing work. The interior doors are warped and are of poor quality. The door frames / jambs and baseboards are really bad (bad installation). The painters have paint all over my LVP floors. If I didn't have to close escrow, I would have waited to have all of these issues fixed. Between the raising interest rates and the fact I waited 6 months for build to complete I had to close. I love the insulation and the remainder of the construction is sound. I still like the house overall.

The company that did our irrigation and landscaping went out of business a month after we moved in and we have had lots of issues with irrigation and the quality of the sod, rocks under the sod, a very un-level yard, dead plants, etc. We cannot get anyone to fulfill their commitment for the 1 year warranty on landscaping and have had to do a lot of the work ourselves.

I have small issues that I was told need to wait until my 12 month mark. I understand why, but its a little frustrating. For example, my master door was installed wrong so it will not stay open, which means my dog constantly gets stuck on inside my room. Its a fix that should only take a handy man10 mins but because I dont know how to do it myself, i was told to wait for the 12 month mark. Positive note, my sprinklers broke about two months in and they were fixed right away.

FIX THE DRAINAGE PROBLEM ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MY HOUSE. The Warranty Department says it is not a warranty item and Trophy Signature Homes is not responsible. Trophy IS RESPONSIBLE because their subcontractor is the who set the grade that is causing the problem. The grade has not been altered by me nor my neighbor. No one from Trophy has volunteered to come out and take a look.

I don't like that we only had 15 days to address sloppy workmanship on interior finishes. We did not know we were on such a ridiculously short time frame, especially when in the middle of unpacking and moving in. Other issues such as poorly fitting windows, hvac, missing shower shelves, etc have been addressed for the most part.

The person responding to us has been prompt and great. This complaint is about the house. The overall quality of the house is anything but TROPHY. Multiple things have broken. The HEAT stopped working the 1st day we needed to use it. We still have not gotten the garage door that was promised. Towel racks have fallen off, things were properly calked, etc. etc.

Some of the finishes, especially in the kitchen, are sketch. I’ll ask that they be addressed at my 11-month warranty deal. One of the cabinet doors has completely come loose. Like, I have the screw sitting inside so it can be fixed.

Positive purchase experience: [name removed] - punctual, polite, professional and collaborative. He filled in for CM on both walk-through's. [name removed] and [name removed] were/are welcoming, kind and have the desire to work through any concerns and answer questions as they arise. The product sells itself until you get to the actual CM and management. I believe Trophy has a tight process and executes fairly well when there are no or very few deviations from the internal process. Where Trophy Signature Homes has a significant weakness and fails to execute is when there is a need to pivot. As a result of an unusual ice storm that lasted 5 days, no trades could address the punch list which would then allow the 2nd inspection to be performed. Management forced the closing before the house was/is complete and there are still numerous outstanding issues. The CM has zero skillset in addressing any potential conflict which very quickly escalates due to the unprofessionalism and lack of execution of his realm of responsibility.

Literally one of the worst built homes. Terrible craftsmanship all around & a true lack of supervision during the build is incredibly apparent in all aspects of our build. We will NEVER own another “Trophy Signature” home as long as we live. Our anticipations of this being a forever home was instantly removed just before closing when it became clear that this company, or the supervisors, do not take pride in their builds, and that they’re only built to hold up during the warranty period.

[name removed] has been very responsive to each of my warranty requests. I did just discover that there is no warranty on my fence, which already has cracks in it. I don’t know why the same one-year warranty wouldn’t apply. The same caveat could be applied as with every other item in the home - if the homeowner is responsible for the damage, then the warranty would be invalidated. But to not stand by the quality of the fence for one year doesn’t seem appropriate. Thank you.

AC has stopped working twice in under a year of living there. The yard has virtually no dirt. It’s all rock and incredibly uneven - looks like I have a pond in my backyard every time it rains. Pulled up a 300lb boulder that was sitting not even one inch below the grass. There is no emergency service line. It was 100+ degrees out when my AC broke the first time. Had to wait 4 days for Tempo to come service it and no one from Trophy was reachable because it was a weekend. I was told there should have been someone “on call.”

[name removed] has been great to work with. That is the only positive thing I can say. Aside from him, your warranty system is a dumpster fire. There is zero transparency with the customer. When a warranty item is submitted, there is no ticket number shared with the homeowner, and no portal to check for updates. There is no way to know if it is being worked or not except to call your number, and the person there (if they even answer) never has any clue about it. It's always the same answer that they will have to call [name removed] to find out, which rarely yields any kid of response. We never know if the warranty item will be handled by [name removed] or by [name removed] who was the super for this particular build site. Items on our exclusions list from the walk through have not been dealt with timely, and the items that have been worked are only done so because I hounded Trophy repeatedly. After months of effort, multiple days taken off work to coordinate with the contractors, and repeated no call/no shows, I have given up on my scratched floors ever being completed.

I liked the quality of the insulation and the appliances; the home is definitely energy-efficient. Past warranty requests have been satisfactorily dealt with, but during the one year inspection today there were some things that the inspector noted that should not occur with such a new home such as nail popping in the ceilings causing paint to fall off, unlevel foundation in parts of the house, and moisture in the walls. I will be submitting a request today to have those taken care of.

Slow & insincere, unless you’re going to [name removed]. The guy that was in charge of overseeing the build of our home is incompetent, in our opinion. The craftsmanship on the home is terrible, and everything is crooked. They would’ve left several more things incomplete, if we had turned a blind eye, than they did. Literally, everything has noticeable imperfections. We are incredibly disappointed in the overall product that we received at closing 6 months ago. We are still hopeful that the warranty guys uphold their end & get some of our issues resolved. Until they do, I cannot fill this out any differently.

The experience was mostly favorable. The house is in great shape even though there are some things that just didn't work out. I'm going to stick with the dislikes. It was difficult to get [name removed] to answer things during the home building process. We would have to follow up multiple times or show up to the office in order to get answers. With this type of a process and not going through a new build like this that was hard. The lack of customization was unfavorable. We wanted to move an outlet before wiring, and it wasn't possible to do. We also wanted to just have the vinyl flooring extended into the bedroom and offered to pay for it and were told no. I understand things going on, but labor and materials were available for both items and wouldn't be that hard to complete.

The person responding to us has been prompt and great. This complaint is about the house. The overall quality of the house is anything but TROPHY. Multiple things have broken. The HEAT stopped working the 1st day we needed to use it. We still have not gotten the garage door that was promised. Towel racks have fallen off, things were properly calked, etc. etc.

The painting in the rooms is poorly done. The cabinet doors are breaking apart. The hvac system was wired incorrectly. The yard is low quality.

[name removed] has been very responsive to each of my warranty requests. I did just discover that there is no warranty on my fence, which already has cracks in it. I don’t know why the same one-year warranty wouldn’t apply. The same caveat could be applied as with every other item in the home - if the homeowner is responsible for the damage, then the warranty would be invalidated. But to not stand by the quality of the fence for one year doesn’t seem appropriate. Thank you.

[name removed] has been great to work with. That is the only positive thing I can say. Aside from him, your warranty system is a dumpster fire. There is zero transparency with the customer. When a warranty item is submitted, there is no ticket number shared with the homeowner, and no portal to check for updates. There is no way to know if it is being worked or not except to call your number, and the person there (if they even answer) never has any clue about it. It's always the same answer that they will have to call [name removed] to find out, which rarely yields any kid of response. We never know if the warranty item will be handled by [name removed] or by [name removed] who was the super for this particular build site. Items on our exclusions list from the walk through have not been dealt with timely, and the items that have been worked are only done so because I hounded Trophy repeatedly. After months of effort, multiple days taken off work to coordinate with the contractors, and repeated no call/no shows, I have given up on my scratched floors ever being completed.

Slow & insincere, unless you’re going to [name removed]. The guy that was in charge of overseeing the build of our home is incompetent, in our opinion. The craftsmanship on the home is terrible, and everything is crooked. They would’ve left several more things incomplete, if we had turned a blind eye, than they did. Literally, everything has noticeable imperfections. We are incredibly disappointed in the overall product that we received at closing 6 months ago. We are still hopeful that the warranty guys uphold their end & get some of our issues resolved. Until they do, I cannot fill this out any differently.

Unable to make any changes or pay for upgrades while house being built. Items on standard on early phases were discontinued on our phase IE undercounter lights,brick porches, better flooring and higer efficient AC.

The quality of workmanship has been very disappointing, and the unwillingness to make things right through the warranty has been extremely frustrating. There have been lots of cut corners and poor quality issues, many of which took a lot of time and back and forth before a commitment was made to resolve it. Some of which have still not been resolved, such as our master bathtub having a hole in it since before we moved in. It was brought to the attention of the warranty manager 4 months ago and we are still waiting on the replacement job to be scheduled. The interior paint quality is terrible and comes off with soap and water, keeping us from being able to clean our walls. I've stepped on tacks from under the carpet in multiple doorways and on the stairs that I've had to go back with a mallet and knock down. We have newborn that will be crawling soon and we are concerned she will cut herself on tacks that we've missed. The landscaping and irrigation have been a point of contention since we moved in. The grading is very uneven, rocks directly under the sod that should've been removed, erosion already occurring near gutter drains, standing water along the side of the house. We moved in during the winter and plants that were put in before we moved in never came back in the spring. All of which were not covered by the warranty, which is a major frustration. There is a lot of caulking that needs to be redone, exterior paint on the lintels that we have warranty tickets in for that we are still waiting to get fixed, windows that won't latch, the list goes on. None of these items on their own were major issues, but as a hole we have been very disappointed in the quality of our home. And extremely frustrated with the warranty system in place.

The fixtures and some portions of the workmanship did not meet expectations. We have only made a few warranty claims. The fence repair was performed, but could have been better. We have had issues with the air conditioning and still have not gotten a good response. Our direct questions have not been answered. We are waiting to hear if what occurred during the roof and gutter repair service.

Sales was great ([name removed] and [name removed]). Warranty ([name removed]) has been good, too. The only issue I have with the home is the trim and finishing work. The interior doors are warped and are of poor quality. The door frames / jambs and baseboards are really bad (bad installation). The painters have paint all over my LVP floors. If I didn't have to close escrow, I would have waited to have all of these issues fixed. Between the raising interest rates and the fact I waited 6 months for build to complete I had to close. I love the insulation and the remainder of the construction is sound. I still like the house overall.

FIX THE DRAINAGE PROBLEM ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MY HOUSE. The Warranty Department says it is not a warranty item and Trophy Signature Homes is not responsible. Trophy IS RESPONSIBLE because their subcontractor is the who set the grade that is causing the problem. The grade has not been altered by me nor my neighbor. No one from Trophy has volunteered to come out and take a look.

Lack of control with customization. Color Choices. Exterior Trim. Usesless wiring for the media room. Electrical issues. SMALL back porch. Low quality carpet. Cheap baseboards. Messy brick exterior. Poorly laid driveway.

Some of the finishes, especially in the kitchen, are sketch. I’ll ask that they be addressed at my 11-month warranty deal. One of the cabinet doors has completely come loose. Like, I have the screw sitting inside so it can be fixed.

Literally one of the worst built homes. Terrible craftsmanship all around & a true lack of supervision during the build is incredibly apparent in all aspects of our build. We will NEVER own another “Trophy Signature” home as long as we live. Our anticipations of this being a forever home was instantly removed just before closing when it became clear that this company, or the supervisors, do not take pride in their builds, and that they’re only built to hold up during the warranty period.

AC has stopped working twice in under a year of living there. The yard has virtually no dirt. It’s all rock and incredibly uneven - looks like I have a pond in my backyard every time it rains. Pulled up a 300lb boulder that was sitting not even one inch below the grass. There is no emergency service line. It was 100+ degrees out when my AC broke the first time. Had to wait 4 days for Tempo to come service it and no one from Trophy was reachable because it was a weekend. I was told there should have been someone “on call.”

Disliked the continual movement of walk through and closing dates. This caused us to miss a memorial for family covid victims and generated substantial animosity towards Trophy management. The insensitivity was appalling.

I liked the quality of the insulation and the appliances; the home is definitely energy-efficient. Past warranty requests have been satisfactorily dealt with, but during the one year inspection today there were some things that the inspector noted that should not occur with such a new home such as nail popping in the ceilings causing paint to fall off, unlevel foundation in parts of the house, and moisture in the walls. I will be submitting a request today to have those taken care of.
