Workmanship is lacking, sloppy I don't care work was done. The sod, roofing, trim, stone all had major issues. Obvious corners wildly bowed out, nothing square. The sod prep was horrendous, trash under the sod, not even same type of grass throughout.

Like the friendly professional service and package deal ; tankless waterheater, sprinklers, gutters, landscaping and foam insulation.. dislike commode 1 discolored seat, flaps hanging and running water, poor quality faucets, kitchen cabinet flaws

New house and major pieces like the heating unit not working after 4 months. Having to endure cold nights and mornings from equipment that's failing in a new home. Having it serviced and it's still not working so I guess I'm going to be dealt piece by piece and service call by service call until the warranty period is up.

I didn't like that I was forced to use the builders preferred lender. During my initial dealings with the sales manager at the community at Buffalo [name removed] in Waxahachie, TX I was lead to believe that I had to close before the end of the month or there would be additional fees. Therefore I needed to use a lender that would be able to do so. The recommended lender happened to be the spouse of the sales manager and immediately my thought was that this was a conflict of interest at the very least and the deception was unethical. It's possible that these are normal industry practices and as a first time home buyer maybe I am blowing things out of proportion; but it made me uneasy none the less. I began to work with said lender and as a disabled Veteran with cognitive issues it was difficult to keep up with the pace that this lender was throwing information at me. At the time I was living in California and obviously he was in Texas wich meant that we had a 2hour time difference. I asked if he could explain what he was saying to a person that I would be using a representative for me and with reluctance he agreed and scheduled an appointment but it was scheduled in Texas time. So when I called I had missed my appointment by 2 hour's without realizing it. Once I called, initially I was told that I wouldn't be able to speak with him because he was busy but wouldn't let me get off of the phone without letting me know that his time was precious and it was a privilege for me to be speaking with him. So after begrudgingly taking the call his attitude became extremely hostile and demeaning to both myself and representative. (I told him that I would call back at a different time) To make a long story short the conversation ended with an angry tirade and him yelling to never call him again before rudely hanging up. All of these details can be corroborated by my realtor. Thankfully I was able to use the lender I had previously built a relationship with to move forward in my home buying process.

Overall I LOVE almost everything. One thing that I did not like is that we've had to have our ceiling painted twice and it still does not look right. So we've given up asking them to repaint it...

The sales rep didn't listen to me but was always rushing me to do whatever was needed to ensure he got his sale pushed through. He didn't know that I was checking on the house nearly every two days. I took pictures throughout the week and my concerns were rarely addressed. The closing process was the worst when I advised that the house wasn't done, he insisted it would be when it was totally obvious that it wouldn't be done. Causing me to check out of a hotel with my daughter thinking we were closing, only to be told it was going to be delayed. Me, recovering from neck surgery during this time, got to move to another city's hotel because I've lost my room by checking out. The quality of the house is no where worth over $450k. This house is barely a $250k home in my opinion. Cheap bricks, compared to the other builders. The spacing between the infrastructure and the bricks allow sounds to escape the house very easily to the outside. The small sounds can be heard through the floor between 1st and 2nd story. The poor craftsmanship from the masonry, from porch posts, front porch bricks, gaps in the stone. The laminate flooring which is stained with sheetrock dust. Gaps in the flooring to wall. Part has been repaired but it should have been done right the first time. Crew cut a sprinkler line and just left it there. I had to repeatedly ask about that. They put up front siding that looked like it had been bitten out of in the beginning and the builder made it sound like I was upset that it was up there... why install defective material??? This was my second home, and I could have gotten a much better quality home newly built or off the market for the same and/or lesser price. I know y'all don't care because you get paid for the sell. Show prospective customers a nicely build model home but give them a XXXXX ty half-ass done home as if you're doing the customer a favor. It's piss poor and I thought I was being a prick in my feelings about this, but APPARENTLY this is the opinion of several other residents who purchased from Trophy. The only satisfied residents around here are Beazer home customers. I preferred their home but didn't want to wait and I got what due to me by taking the easier route.

1-[name removed] being able to choose or change anything while the house is in the process of building .I have to take the house as is. [name removed] being able to choose or change color for furniture or appliance for example 2-i really didn't like the fact that there is no bathtub or jacuzzi in the master bedroom. Only the shower. 3-i didn't like the fact we have to close the house without everything being done or complete because now I have to run after you to complete the job and still 1 month after the job is not complete 4- the gutter company didn't do a good job for my house and still nobody is doing anything about it 5- I don't like the fact that there is carpet anywhere in the house 6- I like the customer service of [name removed], really patient and straightforward 7- I like the fact that the house is really modern( electric fireplace, heater, etc)

[name removed] was really helpful through the process. But was a bit disappointed with the amount of issues I currently STILL have. Loose brick, unpainted areas, back yard wasn’t leveled correctly, splatters of cement all over brick, baseboard moldings yellow in color. Would really like all these issues addressed
