Prairie Ridge, on May 21, 2024
I liked working with [name removed] who was the sales manager for the community at the time. He was very helpful.
Prairie Ridge, on Sep 08, 2022
Very tedious. Every claim is responded to with a challenge that it may not be covered under the warranty, which seems absurd for the first year when typically everything should be covered, knowing that every minute detail or issue is not going to be found in the walkthrough prior to closing. Customer service in general with the warranty department has been lacking, from overall friendliness/attitude, to follow-up once a claim is made. We also never received the survey after living here for 30 days.

The home quality and also the construction team ([name removed]) has been a great help.
Prairie Ridge, on Jul 25, 2022
The warranty service is great, they go above and beyond to fix the problems. though they have no control over when the technicians actually come out
Prairie Ridge, on Jan 09, 2023
The communication that I was able to receive. Any time I needed assistance I received immediate feedback.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Oct 02, 2023
I enjoyed the clarity that was provided and I felt as if my voice really mattered. They were always kind and took their time to make sure my home was in the best condition.
Prairie Ridge, on May 31, 2022
I like that they have come to fix the warranty issues that we’ve reported. I wish that there could have been a faster turnaround time.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Aug 17, 2023
Everyone that we dealt with from Trophy made us feel welcomed and easy about the quality that we were purchasing.
Prairie Ridge, on Mar 10, 2022
The warranty manager, [name removed]. [name removed] is the absolute best and always there for any and every issue we send his way
Prairie Ridge, on Aug 23, 2022
The customer service has been great, but I feel some of the fixtures in the house were below my expectations for the price of the home.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Aug 15, 2023
I had to reach out to the sales team multiple times to get information on where we were in the construction process, closing date and to set up walkthroughs etc. other than that the experience was great and the team is very nice and professional
Prairie Ridge, on Jan 29, 2022
I have no complaints. If I send in a request it was taken care. Good job.
Midlothian, on Jun 24, 2022
I feel like [name removed] is a great sales representative and you have good builder superintendents.
Midlothian, on Jan 18, 2022
The warranty service/customer care are great. All questions and issues were addressed.
Midlothian, on May 25, 2022
We purchased a brand new home built from the ground up. We paid over $360,000 for this new home. Since moving in, we have called on several warranty items for building materials and items that were installed broken or not installed correctly from the beginning and have been told these items are "aesthetic". Of course they are aesthetic, you did not build it correctly so it takes away from the beauty of the home. If you do something wrong in the beginning it will forever be wrong until it is fixed. Trophy did many things wrong and attempted to cover them up and when called out on them refuse to fix them. I have also had 5 different warranty people in less than a year and after talking with several of them both during and after their work with your company they agree with many of the homeowners. Trophy goes out of their way to keep from fixing what they broke. The entire process is shameful and had I known this company was new to home building I would have thought about my options much more thoroughly. After dealing with this for a year and knowing what I know now I definitely would have chosen a different builder and unless problems are resolved I will push anybody I know away from Trophy going forward.

[name removed] and [name removed] were really great throughout the home-buying process and in the first month after moving in. [name removed] was very quick and helpful to all of the questions and issues we had during walkthrough and moving in!
Midlothian, on Dec 28, 2021
First of all there are way too many warranty items for a brand new home, but I do understand things happen. The warranty associates do not come to see the issue, but just try to listen to you explain it over a phone call or through a picture. I have problems that cannot be conveyed through a simple picture sometimes. I know you hear it in my voice, but due to the lack of understanding you send out the wrong people on multiple occasions and waste my time. Remember, I don't get paid to do warranty work like you do. I am supposed to be at work when you schedule people to be at my house. They are very seldom on time or within their window and on multiple occasions require several trips which means more time for me away from work so you can fix my brand new home I just paid you to build correctly.
Prairie Ridge, on May 19, 2022
Two things. Your hvac barely met the minimum requirements required by law. Your superintendent said that that’s all you had to do and would not do anything to improve the hvac system. Secondly, the lack of drainage on the side of my home causes constant pooling of water and makes the area extremely muddy. This essentially makes this side of the home unusable.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Jul 18, 2023
The builder [name removed] is amazing to work with.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Apr 30, 2022

Midlothian, on May 03, 2022
I like the sales person.I dislike the cheap Materials that were used through out our home. The drive way is horrible.Nails are exposed inside the cabinets .The iron grill on stovetop broke off.All molding needs to be recorded
Prairie Ridge, on Nov 23, 2021
The customer service is great! The concern with the warranty service is that it's not available on the weekend, I work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Mar 28, 2022
I liked the look of the home. The style and upgrades they use are what I would have chosen. I like that I didn't have to pick the options myself. The sales team kept me informed the whole time on the status of the home.
Prairie Ridge, on Apr 29, 2022
My house and the house next door are exactly the same.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Jan 27, 2022
Everything was great except final walk. There were multiple things that didn’t get taken care of that were mentioned to builder. The main focal point of our living drywall where the wall meets the ceiling is wavy and looks terrible. Multiple visitors have mentioned it when at our home.
Midlothian, on Feb 05, 2022
The quality of craftsmanship could have been a bit better.
Midlothian, on Oct 04, 2021
I’ve put in a warranty request since Monday and I have not heard from anyone yet. I just put in another warranty request for another thing that just broke down on us ! I’m not even sure how long that will take before someone responds . I shouldn’t have to put in so many warranty request because we only have been in the house 5 mths and this has are already broken and not working
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Nov 07, 2021
There were issues with the homes that we were promised would be fixed upon moving in; that has yet to still be corrected. We have continually got the run around from the Property manager and it has just been a hassle.
Midlothian, on Sep 22, 2021
I was very satisfied, but that’s changing as my last few requests haven’t been answered.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Oct 04, 2021
I liked how everything was explained, and the honesty every step of the way.
Midlothian, on Sep 05, 2021
Warranty items were taken care promptly. However there is one item I feel that should be under warranty but is not and that is one tree.
Midlothian, TX, on Sep 17, 2021
We love the whole process of my purchase. [name removed] was such a great person and helped us a lot. We appreciate it. Thank you so much!
Midlothian, TX, on Aug 24, 2021
I was not happy that there was absolutely no room for changes/customizations. This was even the smallest things like tv outlets that completely change how you can arrange a room. Basically Trophy says you will use the rooms like their model or you will wait to move in and pay somebody else to come in and change your brand new home. There are many things that would have been much easier and make more sense to be done during the build instead of after. Trophy makes these things impossible to accomplish.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Aug 02, 2021
The preferred lender was not as efficient as a private lender. The only advantage was not being penalized if they were not able to close on time.
Prairie Ridge, TX, on Jul 31, 2021
Lack of attention to detail. A lot of the work seems rushed and lazy. ie the paint on the walls is so uneven over the entire house.
Midlothian, TX, on Jul 03, 2021
Honestly from the moment we drove to the community and saw the Trophy Trailer and spoke with [name removed] and saw the floor plans we were ready to sign. [name removed] has been especially awesome, professional and knowledgeable. He kept us up-to-date on the building process of our home and was always prompt in his responses to any of our questions. As well as [name removed]. At the end all expectations have been met and beyond now that its' no longer on paper and we are enjoying the home. We love it and certainly have been recommending Trophy to friends etc.
