Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

The list of what was standard and what was an option was constantly changing, which caused confusion. However, our sales manager, [name removed], and builder, [name removed], helped clarify throughout the process. Additionally, not having an idea of the selections/options available to us prior to entering the design center made it difficult to be efficient and overwhelming on the day of design selection. Despite this, [name removed] went out of his way throughout the process to accommodate our requests. He also took pictures throughout the process to keep us up to date on the build. [name removed] was very prompt in response to any of our concerns/questions and worked hard to make sure the quality of the build was up to our standard.

The experience has been very disappointing we have had a lot of problems and the only response is “ I have to get in front of the powers of be “ for some reason it’s been three month and they can’t find them . So all the problems we are having is still in limbo until they can find the powers to be. It was a lot of money and it all I got was a problem.

The process from beginning to end with the commitment and communication was beyond expectations. I didn’t worry about anything knowing everyone was on top of it. Liked the valued expert input at every stage of the process to guide us along. Enjoyed the ability to customized most features on our list of preferences. Impressed by the speed of the build. Generally content with the outcome of the home. Disliked the many (big and small) QA misses. Disliked the selection process without ability to visualize outcome based on a small sample to chose from and lack of accuracy from selection to documentation. Had to spend an inordinate amount of time to detect errors and callout oversights (example: $20k + in change order credits that were missed, difference in quoted price for metal roof without explanation)

They very thorough and always available. Most builders don't want you talking to the building manager too much and [name removed] was there every step of the way and always open to meeting at the house to talk about things. Build was great so it was usually ideas and questions that arise once you start building and can actually see everything that you don't see on paper.
