What I liked most is that Newcastle makes really nice homes on the surface. They look beautiful on the surface and as long as you take excellent care of it, I think it will last well. What I disliked the most is that they cut corners everywhere to either finish faster or to cut costs. There are so many small details that when given the choice of doing it right or doing it fast/cheap, Newcastle always chose the fast/cheap way of doing things. It's unfortunate to come across those things constantly, especially when the homes are so beautiful.

driveway was poured and it rained on it wet and it looked terrible , they tried to skim coat it and now it is cracking . I was told driveway was not under warranty.

Overall, we've had a great experience, first with the real estate agents [name removed] and [name removed], and later with the builder [name removed] and Operations Manager [name removed]. Designer of the homes, who doubles as warranty representative has been pleasurable to work with, and we are extremely impressed with her talent designing our home.

The frame around garage was addressed before purchase. Still not corrected. . MOSTLY THE STANDING WATER ISSUE IN OUR BACK AND SIDE YARD THAT WAS ADDRESSED BEFORE PURCHASE. STILL.NOT FIXED. FLOORS ARE NOW STAINED IN A BRAND NEW NOT EVEN MONTH OLD. FENCE GAP NOT FIXED AS PROMISED. WHEN SENT TO OFFICE GIRL TOLD ME AS A COURTESY SHE WOULD SEND SOMEONE OUT. STILL NOT FIXED. SO WRONG TO DO HARDWORKING PEOPLE THIS WAY. I AM OLDER AND CARING FOR SICK SICK HUSBAND SO THIS IS SO UPSETTING. I LIKE THE HOUSE SO FAR BUT NOT HOW WE HAVE BEEN DONE TO HAVE TO FEEL LIKE I GOT TO FIGHT TO GET IT RESOLVED.

Our road was meant to be paved, but now they are giving us the run around about paving it. Also there was meant to be a ditch behind our home, but they seemed to have abandoned that as well. Additionally, there were several cosmetic issues that were meant to be addressed when we moved in that weren’t .
