Love everything except for landscaping part in the backyard. Did not have grass for me at the end of my backyard and right now the weeds is all over. Why wasn't the grass fully installed all the way?

There are things that we were told would be fixed (new cabinet door in primary), fixed lock on front door, and other things. Also, we got the warranty info after final walk through and many things, like cracked flooring tiles, are only covered if found prior to walk through, but no one told us that prior to reading it at closing. I think that’s dirty.

There were issues getting NewCastle to deposit my earnest check. I felt there were too many layers of communication. The construction manager was very helpful on the walk throughs. ([name removed])

I only had very little call backs on small things to repair and they were out on that same day or the next morning! Now that’s customer service!

I really love the house. We were able to do some upgrades and Newcastle worked with opus on a few things to help us with future upgrades we will be doing ourselves. There have been a few minor details that were overlooked. A severely cracked bathroom tile but it was repaired! There was exterior dark green paint all over an a window frame but I was able to remove it with a soapy sponge and patience. Our builder is attentive in listening and getting someone out to fix other small problems as they arise. But overall we feel the house is solid and well done and lives up to the Newcastle standards!
