I like most the floor plan of the house. The purchase experience was not the best because we had to chase the seller in order to get everything ready, the information provided not always was accurate. After the purchase, there are things that were not completed but were agreed to be: garage was not pressure washed inside, toilet in master bedroom is not fixed, sprinklers haven't been moved, fence was built and the left the pile of dirt from the post holes still in yard, tile in masher shower missing pieces

I didn’t like the very beginning which i have said in another review. Since then our floors have had issues and still are an issue they came and only fixed some pieces and messed up baseboards and the floor is still messed up.

What I liked most was the attention to detail and the way our builder [name removed] went above and beyond to make sure any concerns we had were addressed. He continued to periodically check in and make sure everything was okay. [name removed] truly made us feel valued and cared for throughout the whole process.

I loved my realtor [name removed]. 1. I Do NOT LOVE - the fact that my backyard is a mess; the ground was not smoothed out (leveled) correctly (the ground is rolling and lumpy) and I have a huge ditch in the back that holds water anytime it rains. 2. My oven is not flush against the wall (because the gas line was forgotten and then installed so that the oven sits away from the wall) and when you are standing next to it you can see where the tile stops.

I seriously could write a book about everything that has happened to me and my home since the first walk through and thus continue 6 months later. At present some of the doors and drawers to my cabinets and island haven’t been replaced yet due to having scratches and dents from the walk through. I had someone come out to place a re-order. His name is [name removed] and I have tried to contact him after he gave me a date when they would be ready and I have not heard from him and I have called [name removed] and haven’t heard from her either.I have called Legacy Cabinets over 10 times and I even told [name removed] and he told me to handle it. Just keep on calling he said and I will eventually get them. I have been dealing with this since my final walk-through. I don’t know anyone else who has experienced this other than me. I feel like the builder should be having my back and handling the situation. My garage door makes an awful sound and [name removed] told me it’s the rubber lining that’s getting stuck, which is not the case I feel like it’s the chain and I’d like to have someone come out and look at it before it breaks. He told me well. It’s still under warranty. That is not the response. I wanted to hear. I have weeds all in my yard, which should not be the case if the ground had soil down before the grass was laid. I have blue tape still on the outside of my house that still hasn’t been fixed. There’s a black stain on my driveway that was left when they redid the gutter near the street. Not to mention the headaches that I went through during the process of the build.

What I liked most is that Newcastle makes really nice homes on the surface. They look beautiful on the surface and as long as you take excellent care of it, I think it will last well. What I disliked the most is that they cut corners everywhere to either finish faster or to cut costs. There are so many small details that when given the choice of doing it right or doing it fast/cheap, Newcastle always chose the fast/cheap way of doing things. It's unfortunate to come across those things constantly, especially when the homes are so beautiful.
