My home was built in a timely manner, Builder was outstanding! There are a few things I'm still waiting on.. for example 1) my back yard sprinklers "2" are outside my property lines so when I built my fence on the property line they water the back side of my fence. 2) I'm missing my interior door stoppers on all doors but a few. 3) my attic access door upstairs was installed incorrectly so the string has pulled threw the paneling and looks terrible. 4) a few side panels outside need to be replaced due to damage caused by painters nailing boards to the side of my house to make scaffoldings, hole drilled for gas line then moved to a different location, dent on front porch from something. Other than that... Everything has been great!

[name removed] was wonderful and very helpful. She is very responsive and helped me decide on this lot and floorplan. She was patient and a wonderful representative of NewCastle. My design meeting was more difficult and stressful than it had to be because [name removed]'s first words to me were "I'm going to run this meeting. Not you". in the end, I feel very vindicated because two of your other clients (Mr. and Mrs. [name removed], and [name removed]) both wanted to copy my house exactly. In fact, Mrs. [name removed] has made most of the exact same design decisions I did. Both family loved my exterior and interior colors, but I was made to feel "less than" by [name removed]. There were also several hiccups because I elected some design options that the build team wasn't comfortable with. Closing in space for an additional pantry caused issues with the beams because the team wasn't all on the same page. As an experienced certified Project Manager, I feel like I managed as much of the build as [name removed] did, though I was careful never to direct his teams directly. By the time move-in day came, we were all stressed and "over it".

I really have nothing negative To say. The whole process was pretty smooth from beginning to end. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Everything was laid out and transparent. They answered all of our questions and took care of any concerns we had. We would have liked to have been able to customize the guitar a little more, but other than that no complaints.

We liked the honestly that was brought upfront when picking a home and the designs. We did not like the fact that there were weeks we had to ask for updates and multiple times we drove by, workers were working on other homes on the street that were framed after ours when our home wasnt being worked on. There were also things we were told that was contradictory and never taken care of until the day of the final walk thru.

Newcastle has been responsive to issues we’ve had that need addressing, so we are satisfied in that regard. But some things, like chips in countertops or walls that aren’t quite square aren’t worth addressing.

FBC failed to stay in contact. Felt I had to reach out more than I should have. [name removed] and [name removed] were great to deal with. No complaints on that side of things

Closer inspection after move in reveals alot of blemishes on some areas of wall and ceiling. Can still see some of the lines where wall panels are attached to each other. Drywall person/contractor did not seem to have good attention to detail. The rest of the process from contract to move-in was great.
